Mama Noor’s Mediterranean And Indian Cuisine

Uber Eats recommended this place. When I read the menu I thought, "This will be interesting". There are areas where they cook both Middle Eastern and Indian food traditionally. My middle Eastern family is not from such an area. So while I was familiar with the names of items, the way they were prepared was new to me.I ordered a few dishes, Naan and a mango lassi. I was surprised as the total price was lower than other, similar restaurants. I was so happy when I opened the bags. The food was incredibly fragrant. We had lamb plate, falafel & Dolma plate, and chicken tikka masala. Everything...I mean literally everything was delicious. It tastes like it came out of someone's actual kitchen. The flavors were simultaneously familiar and unique. The Tikka Masala was different from what I had in the past and it was wonderful.

Delicious food, kind and professional staff, good prices, great portion, service was a bit slow. I ordered the chicken gyro wrap and it was amazing, $12 and a great portion for the price. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. The order took about 20 minutes though, so I'd give yourself some time. Lots of outdoor seating and other food trucks.

Located in the food pod in front of Ida B Wells High School. Pretty extensive menu with both Indian and Mediterranean items. We decided on trying Mediterranean. Food is pretty tasty and plentiful. My husband had the falafel plate and I had the lamb plate. I think I preferred the falafel plate as the 6 falafels were big in size, moist inside with a crispy crust and not greasy. The lamb was also tasty and well seasoned but I thought the falafels were tastier. I think adding a pita bread to the meal would have been perfect & possibly added 1 more star to out meal. Owners were really nice and our order was made within 10 or so min. We def. will come back. Thank you for din din Mama Noor's!!

Very tasty, good serving size, nice people. Like any food truck service, how fast you get your food depends on how busy it is. This food cart pod is easy to access and park, and can get busy during school hours (next to high school). There's some tables and benches, and lovely tree cover, and its cute. I really like the Saag Paneer - its different than a lot of the local Saag versions, but what I like most is that its chock full of actual greens. A lot of the local indian places make their saag with soooo much cream sauce and you barely get any actual saag. Which is weird. Mama Noor's version is rich, hearty, and not greasy at all. Delicious and I usually get it to go and have for a couple of meals.

Incredible service and food! I ordered the mango lassi and kabob over rice. Everything was delicious and the customer service was fantastic.

I ordered two samosas 1 veggie and 1 chicken. It was very good and they were pretty big. The flavor was amazing in both and the sauce on the side topped everything off. I would definitely come here again. The service was slower than he said but if you're not in a rush the food is worth the wait.

Phenomenal lamb, curry. Great tikka Marcella. Yummy samosas. And as for the Mediterranean selections, one of the few people that offer a swarm of Arabi this far away from 2nd Ave. downtown. The cooks here are gifted. The price is good, the quantities are good, the flavor is amazing, and they're really delightful people. Right here in Hillsdale.

Easy 5/5. Really nailed it for me. Ate every bite of the lamb plate. Fast service too

Nice owners, slow service though. Fries were airless bland, falafel was delicous though. Will definitely return!

I found the Chenna Masala to be the best I've had in a food truck. With the Rice I easily had 2 meals. Wish I lived closer.
