Mai Asian Street Food

Delicious Vietnamese food located in the Portland suburb of Tualatin.Mai Asia serves a slightly different version of Vietnamese food compared to the typical Vietnamese food we (also) enjoy in the PDX metro area.The owner proprietor and chef couple has a restaurant in Germany before opening Mai Asia.Food is tasty and texturally very satisfying.Service is friendly and efficient.

The best Vietnamese crepes I've ever had - hot, crispy, crunchy, but melty and juicy. Soooo good! Sadly I wasn't that hungry or I would've ordered more. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Delicious little hidden gem at Cartlandia. I got the Mì Qung ~ Tumeric Rice Noodles, Shrimp, Pork Belly, Pork Spare Ribs, Ground Pork, Quail Eggs, Peanuts, Fresh Herbs, Toasted Sesame Rice Cracker. I've had this dish in Vietnam and up & down the west coast. This one is super flavorful! Love that is conveniently located nearby when I need my fix. The owner, Tim, is super friendly!

I had the garlic noodles, wings, and crepes. All came out quickly, delicious, and the service was very friendly. This is a new cart here in Cartlandia and is great to see that is consistent. I hate come out to Cartlandia with something in mind only to find the cart closed. This one is always on point. Let's hope this cart gets business. They need it and they deserve it.

All I can say is flavor flavor flavor and did I mention freshness as well? Nothing I was eating tasted like it came from a truck! Definitely tasted like high end fusion cuisine. Everything was cooked to order and the aroma made my mouth water. I'm coming back to try everything

Tin's cart is sadly hidden in the back of Cartlandia when it should be front and center for how delicious it is! I've been twice in one week and it'll certainly go in our rotation not only for the tasty crepes, the crispy umami wings, or the holy cow quang bowl but because of Tin himself. He's super friendly and makes you feel like an old friend, inviting you to sit down and enjoy the food from his home town in Vietnam. The menu is small but that just means they can focus on making those select items spectacular. Home made noodles for the quang? Heck yeah. Both times we've gone, we not only ate our fill while at lunch but got leftovers too. Those wings reheat well in an air fryer and are super affordable! So the next time you go to Cartlandia, find this cart and grab a few items (my personal favorite is the crispy crepe!).

We've hit dozens of carts this year and this was such a great experience. First of all, the guy who runs it is a perfectionist and it shows in the quality and preparation of the food. We had the Vietnamese crepes and the shrimp and pork salad rolls. You have to look around the corner to find it but easily the hidden star at this good cart.

A must try place! Luv the chicken wings, banh xeo wraps and spring rolls are my favorite!!

Great semi-hidden joint near the southern side of Cartlandia with some truly delicious food and a very friendly owner. I snagged their Vietnamese Crepe (Banh Xeo) with pork belly & shrimp as well as their Garlic Noodle with chicken - both were fantastic. Nice crispy crepes with a truly superb dipping sauce with enough heat to make your mouth happy without leaving it on fire. (You can always make it hotter with some of the homemade chili sauce they provide.)The garlic chicken was great too, perfectly spiced chicken with a distinct but not overpowering aroma of lemongrass folded into some of the best noodles I've had from a food cart. The bell peppers & asparagus were perfectly sized and just the right addition for the dish. Only ate about 1/4 because I was already full, but I can't wait to have the rest tomorrow!Will definitely be back again; excited to try the Mi Quang but wanted to make sure I had leftovers on this trip!
