Amazing little spot and I see myself coming here again and again . From the food to the wine selection to the ambiance-everything was just perfect. We were immediately seated and attended to despite there being a line. The interiors are cozy and the dimly lit environment makes it a perfect date night spot. The menu is made of big and small portions and as a result you get to try a variety. We ordered a bottle of Le Vigne di Faraone Montepulciano to share amongst the three of us . The wine selection is extensive and focuses on bold Italian reds. One thing that I didn't really like was their choice of glassware for wine ,I believe what they used were Sospiros . The volume of the big glass allows ample headspace to collect aromas and with the glasses they provided It kind of brought down the experience a notch . I do understand that they are trying to make an authentic Italian experience but I also think it should depend on the type of wine being served . Not trying to be picky but just a suggestion for the restaurant . The wine was fantastic- light and dry and had a little earthy tones .For food we ordered - Focaccia Crostini with Rabbit Mousse Linguini with shrimp Spaghetti with Garlic & Hot Pepper Pappardelle with Rabbit Whole Flourless Chocolate Cake Food was superb and portion sizes just right . Service is alright , I wouldn't say they were bending over backwards to be friendly but answered all our questions . The staff was to the point and seemed to be in a hurry but that did translate into our food coming out fast as well. Pricing seemed fair for the quality and taste .

Great pasta (a tad too salty half way but still great flavor), friendly service ...good wine recs by the wait person..indoor table spacing is tight so expect to hear other people's conversations...really cute inside but maybe I will sit outside next time so other larger tables of people are not sitting next to me. I will be back soon!

Excellent menu navigation from our fabulous waiter Andrew. His suggestions were right on!Delicious appetizer of smoke trout crusting and a farow and Parmesan tart. Loved every bite and not overwhelming sizes.Incredibly large wine list which Andrew offered tasting from until we decided on a few glasses of Chianti. My friend enjoyed the pork chop which was not only tender and quite savory but also looked like it came out of a Martha Steward cookbook.Fabulous flavors on my fusilli and pesto with mushrooms: I ordered half an entree which turned out to be the perfect proportions. Accompanying our dinner was an heirloom tomato salad dusted with fresh sprigs of mint. Bursted with flavor!Highly recommend this lovely neighborhood spot. Outside has the best table as inside is quite loud.

We got the cheese board, garlic scapes, and snap peas to share. There was a gorgonzola and a goat cheese, which paired together was amazing. This was the half portion of the radiatore pasta and it was a lot of food. I think the pasta shape was really good for soaking up the sauce and was cooked al dente. I think personally I might have picked the wrong pasta because I tasted a little too much fennel but overall it was good. All of the food was very reasonably priced. The restaurant itself was really cute and there was outdoor seating, which would be really pleasant during nice weather.

Cozy corner dinner off of Burnside, arguable the tightest tables around. Definitely not a group venue but perfect for two. Every table was seated which made a very lively room. The menu ~ small bites, nothing served in large quantity. Everything was seasoned well, tasty & satisfying if tasting multiple plates is your thing.Gotta sip on Italian beer to complete the ambience! Our waiter was perfetto ~ soft smile & inviting tone to his voice & posture. Attentive throughout the dinner. Showed true professionalism. Made the $$$ dinner. The restaurant could use an overall deep clean. The antiqued decor is cute, but too much grime all around and the walk to and in the bathroom is not pleasing.

This place is unmatched! For a town full of amazing food this ranks at the top! My husband is Italian and hard to impress when it comes to authentic quinine. The price and the homemade Italian food is amazing. It's loud and busy so sit outside if that's n issue! The hanger steak is unbelievable and the table wine is great. It's all drag and full of flavor so enjoy! You will be back I guarantee it!

If I could give this higher than 5 stars I would. This is the most authentic little Italian place. From the wine list to the ambience they are consistent and amazing. We started with olives, smoked trout, salt cod and mushrooms and cauliflower (tapas style) then we had focaccia and a black radish and tuna salad and a fennel saladFor entrees we had a shrimp fettuccine and a stuffed trout. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have Italian beers and wines and non alcoholic drinks. The wait was about 30-40 min for 2 people on a Friday night. Such an amazing place. Can't wait to come back

I don't remember how I found this place. It's now one of my favorite restaurants now. We got there around 6pm weekday. We're lucky and got seated immediately at the la St available table. People who came after us had to wait for a long time. I love the ambiance there. People were chatting and laughing in a cozy place. It makes me feel like we are all having a party together. Wait staffs are friendly and answered all our questions patiently. They have a one page menu but 5 pages of wine list. I like everything in a smaller portion so we can have more dishes to share. We're enjoying ourselves so much we forgot to take pictures of our dishes until dessert time. The fresh pastas are sooooooo delicious. Our favorite is the clam spaghetti. The fettuccine with lemon is refreshing and not too sour.

Love this hidden gem! You have to come before the dinner rush otherwise you'll need to wait a while! The interior feels like you're in italy with the checkered floors and tight seating and open windows. I love that you can start off with the $2 crostinis. Our waiter actually doubled our order so that we can sample everything! They have a bunch of italian wines too so that you can feel transported. I got the clam spaghetti which was way more flavorful than the ones I make at home and the rabbit parpadelle. The rabbit tastes like chicken and the sauce was okay but I would only come back for the clam spaghetti! The buttermilk panna cotta was also out of this world. It is one of the creamiest and loveliest desserts I've ever had.

This little hole in the wall Italian spot is so charming and intimate, our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to deciding what we should order on the menu; as well as picking the perfect wine pairing with the pasta. We all got 1/2 portions and got 2 pastas each! I think that's the best way to go about it. 1/2 is not enough to be full. The tagliatelle was perfectly aldente and I enjoyed the red sauce a lot, not heavy. The linguini was a little overcooked, but the light and bright sauce with the shrimp was yummy. It was nice to eat after the heavier red sauce pasta. The focaccia is good, but I'm used to by bread being toasted/ warm. I'm also a saucy person so I definitely needed to ask for olive oil on the side to dip. The beets were good nothing special but if you like beets it's a nice little appetizer, it's only $2 for a small plate so if you're sharing add more.
