The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pretentious, the service was fine. It was good, but nothing I'll need to revisit necessarily. Cheers

Felt terrible after realizing our mistake, but this is also on our waiter. Pregnant and pregnancy brain is real. Usually after my husband signs the bill, I double check and make sure it's accurate. Unfortunately our waiter didn't even give the opportunity to double check the bill and was hovering waiting for husband to sign the check to immediately take it. I've never experienced this at a restaurant before, especially if we haven't even finished our dessert. No the restaurant wasn't closing either so not sure why he wanted to take the check right away. Essentially we realized that my husband only tipped $18 instead of 18% when we got home. Both our bad. But honestly a piece of advice, pick up the check after we leave. He 100% made us feel uncomfortable as we left too, especially not realizing our mistake until we got home. If we had realized the mistake and was given the opportunity to actually look at the check, he would have 100% gotten the tip adjusted, but again no opportunity to as he waited for my husband to sign and immediately take.

Great service, great food, great bar options, and good staff. I will definitely be returning. The quality of food was impeccable. From the salad, entree's, and drinks were all top notch. Great location, decor, and ambiance. Staff was very attentive and welcoming. Great staple location in NE Portland.

The ambiance here is good, we ended up sitting outside. We brought a bottle of wine for a corkage fee and it was definitely worth it. Hands down, the farro salad was great to start with. The heirloom tomatoes melted in your mouth. The pasta bolognese was very underwhelming. We did get a side mixed breads and those were yummy and fresh. Honestly, service was very lacking. Our server seemed to be okay in the beginning but then disappeared and no one else really checked on us. I would come back for the salad and probably another dish but I would hope for a different server.

First time back in over five years, but still solid all around. If you go on a hot day start with their generous pour of the light and refreshing Gin and Juice cocktail. We enjoyed the charcuterie board especially the focaccia and smooth garlic butter. The Leek soup was wonderful, the portion a plenty. The Tagliatelle alla Bolognese was just meh, I expected more from the first entree item listed on the menu. Maybe because I'm comparing it to the scrumptious take home sauce at Providore market. The bone Pork Shortrib with creamy polenta was very satisfying and a recommend. The Penne al Primavera was light on portion, the sauce too bland for my liking, but others enjoyed it.They shine at desserts: both the Panna Cotta and Chocolate Budino were excellent!Service was stellar.

WORST SERVICE AND DISCRIMINATION! We experienced very disappointing 45 minutes at a 5:30 pm dinner. I was excited to have an early dinner with my daughter, but was disappointed with the waitress, who had an attitude when I asked about the wine, she profess not knowing anything. I asked her if she could send someone over, she begrudgingly sent the bartender over who did provide a wonderful recommendation. After that, we ordered dinner from our waitress and I asked her to bring our three selections out one at a time so that we can enjoy each other's company but instead she brought out everything at once overwhelming our 2 top table. When I asked her why she did that she said she forgot, from there, the service went down, terribly as if she was some embarrassed child who couldn't face us. The Caesar salad was chewy. We didn't eat even half of it. The Barata and bread was very tasty, we ordered the spaghetti and there were tiny bit of pieces of scallops in the spaghetti pasta, but the worst part was the discrimination we felt. As if they wanted to bring everything at once to rush us to leave. I am a discriminating diner and have the dinned at the most fabulous restaurant worldwide and this is the worst service. It's as if our waitress was a middle school child having a tantrum she and other staff, including the hostess, treated us horribly.

Food quality and service quality have declined in the last year or so. Two very disappointing visits during that period.

Great service and friendly wait staff. We shared 2 pizzas and the roasted green beans. I could eat those beans daily as they were delicious! We shared the mushroom and the shishito pizza with the crispy prosciutto in the side as 2 people with us were vegetarian. Everything was just wonderful I'd definitely go back and try other items.

You have to try the seasonal menu items! During our October visit we enjoyed an appetizer of burrata & figs/plums and the olive oil cake with grapes & blackberry ice cream + the apple crostata. The wood fired pizza was also very good! We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and attentive service.
