This is a takeout-first joint, by the look and feel. Decent, if a bit overcooked, chicken. Mushy rice & beans. The salad is fine.

My chicken was very good. My food was not spicy at all despite the sauces they had arrayed in their front desk. I think because I requested the green that I got a less spicy sauce, but I can handle the heat.. The rice was very moist and tender, and I enjoyed the food.

Wowww yummy! I love soul food. This was something different. We ordered then picked up. Parking is street. It's a small place but packed with flavor. I asked for the top sauces. Everything was delicious. I just wish the chicken was a bigger portion. I'm not a huge rice person, so that's why. But loved the sides.

Stopped by here for lunch. I got the single chicken dish with arugula greens and coconut rice beans. I felt like the chicken was little dry but I did like the crispness of the chicken skin. Mine was pretty burnt though and that taste came through. The rice was delicious, super moist and I finished all of it! The greens were nothing special.I got the orange sauce, which wasn't spicy at all. Just like it sounds, it was a sweet sauce that paired well with the chicken and rice.

Ok this place is fire. For $11, you can get the most perfect lunch of chicken, rice, salad and fresh sauces. I was a vegetarian for 21 years so I get kinda weird out about eating meat sometimes, by which I mean if I get one bad bite, I'm off chicken for a month +. I was nervous that they serve thigh, as I've had bad experiences in the past, but man! This was hands down the best chicken thigh I've ever eaten. Yum! 10/10 recommend!

Solid Caribbean food. I got there when they opened at 11 and within 5m there were half a dozen regulars, so clearly people in the area know this is the place. Single chicken would not have been enough food for me, glad I got the double.

The food here is packed with mouth watering flavors. I order the 2 piece chicken, which comes with a delicious side salad, home made dressing, and a side of coconut red bean rice. The chicken melts in your mouth. It's soft and tender. They have limited hours and it 100% worth the wait. I give this place a 10/10

For one of our recent Interplay Collective workshops, we chose Love Belizean as our lunch vendor, and they were marvelous! The food was vibrant, flavorful, and met every dietary restriction of our attendees. Our facilitators and participants alike were delighted with the food as everyone requested to-go containers. The Love Belizean team was professional and took care of everything smoothly, and were a joy to work with. I can't recommend them enough for anyone that needs a delicious, worry-free experience!

I so wanted to love this place, but it's a total rip-off. The food is fine (not great as some people seem to think, but it's fine), but portion size is insultingly small. My piece of chicken weighed 2.5oz with the bone in, so about 2oz of meat. A standard serving of meat is 4oz. I don't even know how they source such tiny chicken thighs. I definitely needed a sandwich after finishing this lunch. The coconut rice was also fine. The salad was just some mixed greens (like you buy in a tub at the grocery store) and the dressing tasted like it was just canola oil with some lemon juice.
