8$ margarita pizza happy hour is life of pie to die for ! Mic Drop !!! I'm renting an apartment in 2nd floor they're that good !!!

This is the pizza place I've been to the most in Portland. I don't claim it to be the best (Ken's probably takes that), but it sure is consistent. The pizzas are very well priced, especially the happy hour marg, and the texture is absolutely perfect. The crust has no flop, and the dough has a wonderful chewy texture to it. The tomato sauce is great, and pretty much all their flavors are good (the funghi is a must). What I love most is the bottle of chili-infused olive oil for those dining in. I always guzzle an ungodly amount of it (pro tip: split the crust open like a pita and mop up the oil using the bready interior).I love Life of Pie's casual vibe and its efficient service. Try at least once!

The pizza was delicious and came out quickly! I really enjoyed the flavor profiles of the pizza and the salad serving was hefty for the price! I love the cute pizza oven and the atmosphere of the indoor/outdoor seating during the summer. I highly recommend the Salami and Mamas Lil's Peppers, the combination of the goat cheese & honey is soo tasty! They also run a deal on Wednesdays where you can get an $8 Margherita pizza and that's an amazing deal for the size and quality!

I love a good thin wood fired pizza and Life of Pie has been so consistent in that department. Their margherita pizza is so delicious and it's great that they continue to offer a happy hour deal for it after all these years. However, this day we arrived past HH so I ordered a Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese pizza. I really love the balance of the charred pizza dough/crust and vibrant tomato sauce. Add the creaminess of the goat cheese and sweetness of the onions and it's a flavor combo that tickles my tastes buds in the best way.

Consistently excellent, this pie shop is a must for everyone! Indoor & patio seating are available and service always friendly! The family fav is the Kale Salad & the Fennel Sausage pizza. Kale salad is light and served with parm cheese. Pizza crust is thin, crispy and size is good for 1 if hungry! It comes with 4 slices!This is a counter service and bus the table yourself kind of place so be sure to do that!Go for it!

My partner and I biked all the way from downtown just to try their pizza and it was worth the sweat and trek to get there. We were out there pedaling in 100 degree weather just for this pizza and I'm so happy it did not disappoint! We got the mushroom and Margherita pizza. First of all, this is probably the best Margherita pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sauce is tasty and complex compared to everywhere else I've tried. It was perfectly baked and everything came together wonderfully. My favorite was definitely the mushroom pizza. My partner and I are suckers for mushroom and this pizza was fantastic. Again, the crust was airy and crispy at the same time. I don't like my crust to be doughy and this was not at all. Perfect crunch is every bite. I recommend dining it to eat it fresh, you will not regret it. The service is pretty much self serve. You order in front and you take your number they give you and place it on your table until they deliver it to your table. The cashier was very nice and informed me that it was happy hour, so we got a discount on their Margherita pizza! Yay! It's very spacious inside too, gives me a rustic vibe but again, focus on the food! Definitely worth sweating for these pizzas! I would come back again.

The seasonal mushroom pizza was delicious. The truffle oil melts on your tongue. I wasn't a fan of the crust. It's super dry. Otherwise, the entire pie was delicious and light to eat. Love the seasonal mushrooms too.A great kale and arugula salad. Very easy to accommodate for vegans.

So delicious the tomato sauce was so flavorful. The salad was also delicious, great salad to dressing ratio. The pizza crust was also so light and fluffy. Tasty wood fired pizza.

Leaving reviews to all the places I ate at while visiting Portland because I am so impressed!! We got a great deal on margarita pizzas, & something about the wood fire taste was so unique and delicious. I got the cider which was good! Overall great place to grab a quick bite and explore the pearl district

Atmosphere: Nice, clean atmosphere. Order at counter and they bring your food out to you.Food: The pizza is very good for the price. Neapolitan style so you know what to expect. They have some Chili Oil and Pepper available on the table as a topping. Really love the thought put into the plating to put something on the plate that can drain any oil so that the pizza does not get soggy.Price: Price was good. The $8 Margherita Pizza for happy hour (which lasts pretty long) is a great deal.Service: Order at counter and bus the tables yourself. Staff was friendly.Parking: Street parking near 23rd. You can usually find a spot within a block or two.
