I ordered the sesame chicken, medium spicy, to go. The layout here was interesting. They have a large dining room that was almost entirely empty except for one table, and then a closed off area with a bar that looked a lot nicer, but was equally empty. While I was waiting for my order to be made, two other people came in to pick up delivery. This place definitely caters to take out and delivery despite having the set up for what looks like a nice dine in experience. The service was good despite only one person running front of house. The person up front managed to take orders, and pour drink for their table as well as take my order. They were friendly and accommodating. When the food was ready the back of house staff brought it out and handed it to those who were waiting; good teamwork between front and back. The food itself was ok. They definitely make it all fresh in house because the chunks of chicken were absolutely gigantic. Normally large food portions is a good thing, but these chunks were so big that they needed to be cut up before you could eat them; not used to fried saucy Chinese food being bigger than bite sized. Medium spicy was plenty spicy for me as someone who likes some spice in their food but doesn't necessarily subject themselves to super spicy things. I might go a little milder next time. The chicken was a little soggier than I would have wanted when I got home 8 minutes later, but over all it was good and I liked it. Worth noting, entrees don't automatically come with rice; it's 1$ to add on.Overall I would say; the service was good, the establishment was nice, and the food was OK but didn't reflect the quality implied by the price point.

I'm surprised my some of the reviews that are negative - perhaps we just went on a good day.Food we liked: chicken noodle soup, lamb appetizer (spicy), and the pork belly hot pot tofu with chicken curry fried rice.Ambience was great - very good service and clean tables! The only reason I took off a star was that the place says it closes at 10pm but we were there at 9:30pm and the staff were hovering for us to leave.Try it - perhaps you'll have better luck than some of the other reviewers on here.

I've been on the search for a good vegan friendly Chinese spot for a while now. Kung Pow has seriously impressed me with the large variety they offer vegan. Everything is clearly indicated which I appreciate. I ordered my food to go and called the restaurant to ensure all my dishes were 100% vegan. The owner who answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure what I ordered was made exactly how I wanted. Some menu highlights for me were the vegan potstickers and the Kung Pow! Tofu. The portions are a good sizing too. I do however wish they would add some more vegetables. Other than that I would highly recommend trying this place out!

Fried rice is the meal of the people. You got leftover rice? Fry it up. Got a bunch of leftover ingredients you don't know what to do with? Pineapple pepper fried rice. You want to go nuts and class it up? Break out the shaoxing wine and put your foot on the gas.It is practical, it is filling, and it is goodI've eaten many a fried rices both homemade (check out Jason Farmer's recipe on Youtube) and at restaurants and this one was the most confusing. "Why are the pork belly pieces so big?""Why are you using jalapeños instead of chili oil for spiciness? ""Why is it mushy?"And then comes the worst thought you can ever have when eating at a restaurant"I could make a better version of this at home."It's a condescending and disrespectful notion that ignores many parts of why restaurants even exist but it's a little embarassing if it's true. And for me it is. Not because I'm particularly great at cooking but the bar just really isn't that high. The staff was kind but for the price I expected better. If you want a truly exciting fried rice I'd recommend Eem

Nice looking place, but they seem confused by someone wandering in off the street to have lunch. Then they give me a chicken dish with these huge pieces of white meat, difficult to eat without access to a knife. And the few vegetables are obvious out of a frozen food bag. Meh.

Take-out portions have gotten ridiculous.Half box should be half price but instead twice price?!No joke it was just 3 mouthfuls per box. What little we did taste was overly salty. We pick up without any utensils or napkins and you ask for tip?! C'mon.Do not get kung pow'd duped and make sure to point out you want value not a chop in the wallet.
