Kristy's Down Home Cookin'

The food tasted really good, but 2 of our 3 orders were wrong. My daughter's and I all ordered a meal, side, condiment, and drinks. I asked for no tomatoes or onions, and one of my daughters asked for no onions or tomato. I got what seemed to be an extra order of tomatoes on my burger (more tomato than meat). My daughter got onions on her burger and no pickles. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce and received ketchup... we found all this after driving back home with our food. After removing the unwanted items from our burgers, they did taste really good, and the fries were awesome. The burger paddy's seemed very thin and not as much burger as I'd like on a smash burger, especially for the price we paid. Overall, we will give them another chance, but we hope they pay more attention to detail and get the orders correct next time.

Best burger in town. Full stop. I'll come back to that! We came back with my parents, sister, and the kids!!!! Everyone was so happy with all the delicious food!Let's get to the food! Smash burger = grand slam, touch down, goooooooal all in one! It's really good. The bun was toasted, yum, but what I appreciated the. Just, and what makes this burger stand out from others in town is the fact that the bottom bun wasn't an oily soggy mess! In fact, even after taking pictures there was still some crispy to the toasting of the bun! The toppings were right in, and it had a good amount on it. This was my favorite thing, but we did order more! The cheese and sauce on the Philly were out of this world, and they slice the meat just right so it cooks evenly. The fresh peppers on their add a nice contrast in the flavor. One bite is a great explosion of flavor, that sauce though, mmmmmmm. The fried chicken sandwich is a beautiful balance of sauce, chicken, and veggies, with a nice toasted bun! We've had the grilled one, and it was amazing, this one right here though, has a beautiful fry with super moist chicken! So yummy! The fried Oreos!!! HOLY CRAP! If you are an Oreo milk dunker buckle up because these are gonna knock your socks off! You don't have to dunk! The fried process makes them perfectly soggy (as though the perfect dunk just happened). Then there's a really good balance of fried bread, and Oreo filling! Explosion of sweet rich flavor! Super rich, make sure to have someone to share with. The Mac 'n' Cheese everyone had different personal feeling about the smokiness. One says too Smokey, it was just right for me, and one said not Smokey enough. So smokiness is personal preference. The flavor was good, regardless of how we felt about the smokiness level. We all also had the same drawback on the Mac 'n' Cheese and that was that the cheese sauce broke, leaving a gritty, not so great texture in our mouth. So we would recommend fine tuning the sauce, or process of making the sauce ti ensure it doesn't break. PS the baby didn't care she loved it!Ultimately one thing being off is not worth losing a star. Especially when the service, the space, and ALL of the other food was on point! I can't wait to watch this spot grow, and fine tune! They are amazing people, serving up some amazing food, and definitely putting their heart, and a LOT of passion into it!

Best burgers in town. Philly steak sandwich is on the spot. I got there 5 mins after closing and Kristy fired the grill back up and made my dinner. Great service a friendly attitude.

Most likely one of the very best, tastiest smash burgers I've ever had!! Previous reviews are spot on! One would not think something as simple as a smash burger would be a challenge for some to get right, but very few do. And this little food cart in a lonely parking lot with wooden tables/benches DOES IT RIGHT!

First time there and I'm hooked. Great customer service, tasty food and I got to say the cheese curds with that spicy sauce was on point! I ate it all before I could even take a picture I will post some next time I go back because I will definitely be back! I had the smash burger and a side of a half order of cheese curds which I regret now not getting a full order!Update went back and got the fried dill pickles! and a full order of cheese curds and a Philly (feeling fat but who cares!)

Very tasty great flavor on many of orders I've had. Super friendly owner and other workers. Service is up front and friendly. They listen to their customers big + on their part

Grabbed a bacon smash burger and fries while their food truck was at huge weekend swim meet at MHCC in Gresham. I showed up at Noon and there were already a ton of folks waiting for their orders. Staff were incredibly friendly, especially the older gentleman who checked on me a couple times while I was waiting for my food. He's got a great attitude! Burger was very good and simple: fresh onion, tomato, pickle, and 2 crispy smash patties. Fries were hot and crispy, and seasoned very well. Basic condiments as well as cutlery and napkins were available. Giving 4 stars because of the price, which is standard for a food truck but still $18 for a burger and fries. Can't really blame them with the price of ground beef nowadays.

Food was fire first time here passing through i asked what she would recommend she said the smash burger and it did not disappoint thank you! Ps the fry's were perfectly crisp and the homemade sauces were great.

What an amazing company. We had the privilege of hosting a training event at our office and we decided to use Kristy's Down Home Cookin' . I have to say that they knocked out shoes off with the level of customer service provided. 10 out of 10 stars!!!Thank you so much to Kristy's for what you did.

I ordered the smash burger with cajun fries. Proper smash burger! Freshly cut veggies, delicious patties and a toasted bun to soak up all the goodness. Person working was friendly and gave me some options for sides. Very helpful and pleasant.Fries were beer battered and piping hot! Will be back for sure.
