I give this restaurant three and a half stars for food but bumped it up to four stars because of the friendly staff, excellent service, plus generous portions.I was in Camas partaking of a birthday present Japanese Head Spa treatment (see review for May Lily Spa) which ended just before noon. I thought, "Well, I'm in Camas, might as well see what that renovated little downtown area has to offer in the way of lunch."As soon as I spotted Top Chai Thai I pulled over. I'm glad I did.I ordered the avocado green curry and fresh salad rolls, intending to bring the leftovers home for dinner. Good thing I did because the rolls are pretty substantial in size and the curry portion was generous. The curry was a little bit bland compared to some Thai restaurants I've eaten in. Decent but not exciting. A bit of broccoli, not enough bell peppers, generous bamboo shoots, and one lone mushroom half filled out the sliced avocado in a deep green sauce. I ordered rice noodles instead of rice. It's the first time any Thai restaurant has charged me extra for that substitution but oh well. The salad roll was fresh. I wished for a bit of mint or cilantro to spark it up.The peanut sauce was very tasty, not too thick and served warm. Bonus for that. They brought a jug of water to the table so I could refill my glass, which is always a nice touch. The server was a lovely young Thai woman who enjoyed talking to me after I thanked her in Thai. Soon I learned she had graduated university speaking Chinese instead of her native language, had moved to the states with her boyfriend, preferred the climate of Texas where they'd first lived to that of the Pacific Northwest. She was kind and friendly in the manner of the many Thai people I met when I was traveling throughout Thailand.I think the prices are a wee bit on the higher side but then, maybe I'm just out of touch these days.If you find yourself in Camas, Kop Chai Thai in the downtown hub is a safe bet. Easy parking, too.

Incredibly rich and vibrant Thai food in a quaint setting. Excellent fried rice, Pad noodles and satays. The wait staff here is attentive. Four solid stars.

It's a cute little spot in downtown Camas, WA. Many folks might not be familiar with the area, but it's a short (20-minute) drive from Portland. Great staff, very friendly, and food is always good. It is a pretty standard menu as far as Thai food goes, but it is well-seasoned, has excellent chili oil, and portions are good. Tonight, I got to go. Crying Tiger steak with veggies (17.99), fried tofu (extra crispy 7.99), and beef noodle soup (their version is Pho-like, but with very Thai flavors (15.99). Traveled well and fresh. If you find yourself in Camas or make it a destination, with Grains of Wrath Brewing a couple blocks away--a great local spot for a beer after Thai food--it is highly recommended. The only downside is the place is tiny, so peak hours can be a challenge for seating. But it's hit or miss--busy-wise.

Service was good and food was fast. We did take out and shared 1 pad Thai as it's plenty of food. Thai tea was good would go again.

We door dashed 3 dishes and a viet coffee . It was $75 for a papaya salad, pad Thai, Tom ka soup and coffee. The portions were big so that's good . Maybe in restaurant it's cheaper. It was really good tho. I recommend all 3 dishes.

Almost gave a 3-star, but the basil-infused peanut sauce in our shrimp dish was SOoooo good that it upped the score. The food is very, very good. The establishment is small and outdated with 1 waitress running the front all by herself. The menus also have prices all crossed out and upped by $2.00+ each. I feel like 18.00 is a bit high for lunch portions but as I said, the food is pretty good. Being in the center of the cutsie-Camas vibe is nice, too, although the inside feels like an old Chinese restaurant. If you like decor or an efficiently run (tight ship) then you might look elsewhere, but if the food/flavor is all you care about, this could be the place for you.

I used to love going to this place but I feel like the quality has gone down a bit. I typically get the Pad Thai w Chicken and the fried rice. The most recent time I ordered, I placed an order around 5:30pm and asked for it to be ready by 7pm (I had a busy day and wanted to ensure my order could be ready in time for dinner) when I picked up my order it was clear that it had been sitting out for a while. It was cold and the sauces were dried up. This is very disappointing after a long day and choosing to buy from this business. There are also many other great Thai options than I would rather prefer. Unfortunately I don't think I will be back. However, if you are in need of Thai food in Camas, this is the only place I've tried.

Growing up in Camas, my family ordered takeout here whenever we were in the mood for Thai food. I decided to come by today as I am back in town briefly so I ordered the chicken pad thai. It tasted just how I remembered it; it was good but not the best I have had, but good for whenever you're in the mood. Also the server was very sweet and kind. The space is pretty tight but there weren't too many people today so it was fine.

Technically Thai. Nothing too exciting, but hey, at least it's so expensive that they crossed out their own prices.
