Delicious eats at this new spot. The Thai iced tea was sweet and fragrant. The peanut sauce for the fresh rolls was super tasty. I really enjoyed the crab fried rice and my partner said the pad Thai was yummy. Ambience could use some help. Get takeout. The portions are huge btw.

We picked this restaurant because of the good reviews. Alas the food was a big disappointment and the service was sad. We ordered pad see ew which tasted weird, like it was made with molasses. We left most of it. The salad rolls were ok but very sticky. The potstickers were pedestrian. The server disappeared near the end of our meal and we went to counter and called and finally we had to open and close the door to get her to reappear. All in all a really poor dining experience. I cannot recommend it at all.

Stopped here for lunch today and made it in time to order off their discounted lunch menu. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and an iced Thai tea. The Thai tea was large and lasted me the whole meal. The yellow curry came out quickly and was so flavorful and delicious! The spice level was perfect, not too spicy to lose out on the enjoyable flavor. The chicken was cooked very well, not overcooked or dry at all. I chose to come here when I saw they have a large window and the beautiful day outside really lit up the inside of the restaurant. It was a very pleasant and quiet atmosphere.

I've ordered from here for delivery several times now. The food is good, they've had to correct themselves (on a delivery order) and did so without trouble. I feel like it's too mild, I've opted for medium spicy on pad Thai and felt there was no kick at all. I'll change it next time. They've thrown in free spring rolls a couple times, that's a nice surprise. I've yet to go into the actual space, if I make it up I will update.

Still awesome! Excellent food, Great service. Really good value for the money (large portions). One of the best Thai joints in PDX. The pad se ewe, pad woon sen, pad thai, dumpling soup, garlic veggies are all super tasty. I also love all the options (to add to a dish) available when ordering online for pick-up.

My family has been ordering take out from Khao Thai for the past several months on a regular basis, as their food is consistently fantastic! They offer a wide variety of classic Thai dishes, and every one has been EXCELLENT! The meats are lean, veggies are not overcooked, rice is perfect! I especially love how their online ordering system allows you to add or omit specific foods to each dish, as well as selecting spice level (which has also been accurate every time), and with the most important option is being able to indicate if you'd like your dish to be made vegan or gluten free!!! The staff have always been friendly and courteous. And when we order To-Go, our order is always piping hot and ready on time. Highly Recommended!
