My favorite salad! I always crave this simple salad. Crab Avocado Salad is my go to. I try to make it at home and it sucks, so I come here.

Boca Roll was nice mango and papaya zing. Also got Tempura Shrimp and a Soft Shell crab roll with 2 nigiri, eel and egg. Lastly, a soft shell crab hand roll.Easily would feed 3. Everything tasted good, no off flavors, and are well constructed rolls. Easy to pick up and not fall apart.Would order again.

When you asked me where's my go to place for sushi? Kenbu, immediately. #1. It's not a restaurant, it's a food truck located outside the flipside bar, but the amount of times I've gone (about 15+ times) it's NEVER missed!! maybe once.. but like..I was just trying new stuff and it wasn't sushi lol. ANYWAYS, sushi is affordable, big sizes and it taste great every time! I always order the same thing and they are-the Tokyo roll: bomb get it, 10/10- salmon skin roll: crispy crunchy, recommend as well 10/10-salmon roll: not only affordable but the size is great and it would fill me up. 10/10-the ocean roll: my bf gets this, still very solid if you like shrimp tempura. 10/10-Kenbu panini: if you want some different and crispy, I'd recommend this. Idk I love them, support them. They're a small business and they make delicious food, you can order and go inside the bar and grab a drink and eat inside too!

Sushi was good, not extraordinary given the high yelp ratings. the dressing in the salad was a bit salty and lack depth. i did like the atmosphere and this would be a good place to stop on the way home from the airport. they're fight off the freeway and they open late.

After seeing several amazing shots and ratings, especially of the Lobster Roll, tried Kenbu sushi at Flipside Bar & Carts. Absolutely incredible plating, fantastic taste profiles & value. Had plenty to eat between that and the salmon skin hand roll with enough to take home for a snack later. Will definitely be back to try more and sip a cold one in the bar area--which was welcome on this hot day.

Good cheap sushi but be prepared to wait. Over an hour sometimes. I think they do a banging GrubHub biz so if you are chilling at Flip side waiting for your sushi roll you could be there a while waiting.

We ordered for a food delivery. The food was well-packaged. Each box of sushi kept the beauty of its presentation. Other than sushi, we also ordered Pork Miso Soup with Ramen noodles and it came unspilled. The noodles were separated from the soup appropriately so.Among the Rainbow Roll, Ocean Roll and Volcano Roll, my kids and I loved the Volcano Roll. We didn't really care about Rainbow Roll and Ocean Roll. I wish I had picked something else. I love raw salmon but those sushi didn't excel for me. So if I were you, skip the Rainbow Roll and the Ocean Roll. The Pork Miso Soup was good. My picky boy liked it.
