Yelp needs to update. KC is long gone apparently. Players Pub will make you a breakfast sammy but there is no KCs.

cute little unassuming spot next to the Arco fuel station and an Intimate Modeling shop.Same owner as Korner Pocket had heard about it from some golfing friends. I entered and it seemed like a clean, convenience store with a bar and lottery machines. But it is a Deli/Bar, not a store. The lady behind the counter was kind, asked for my ID straightaway. They serve bottled beer and have spirits on hand, I didn't see wine.I had a couple of Sierra Nevada Pale Ales. Not too much activity here today. Chatted with patron next to me. Cute older fella with some good stories.I didn't eat the food, but they seem like they'd take great care in preparing it for you. Clean, great decorations, pictures on wall, TVs, small parking lot, or park on street. Open at 7am, small, intimate, FULL BAR.

If you want the absolute best burger in Portland this is your joint. For some reason restaurants that "speacialize" in burgers always seem to fall short. This place is just a hang out. Gaming, TVs, sassy clients... But the first bite into one of their burgers and you know you have found your spot. Hard to find this place if you aren't looking for it. But it is worth a trip to just sit at the counter and enjoy some real home cooked food. Ask for at least 3 napkins with your burger because it is juicy perfection. Enjoy!!! PS. The meatloaf is also incredible

This is definitely not a 5 star establishment. Upon arrival I tried to make small talk w/ GP but was not only shut down but ignored when another customer walked in. I had to wait while he stumbled through his specialty order without so much as eye contact or acknowledgement from GP. Burger had zero sauce on it. No ketchup, no mayo, no nothing. Very plain. Thankfully it was only 5.75 but I would have rather had a burgerville Burger. On top of everything I was overcharged by $3. Didn't even bother to bring that up as she was busy talking to the "local" again. Perhaps I'm just tainted because he was chirping Trump in my ear the whole time. Best quote, "people say he don't know nothing. $h!+, What is there to know? Hillary is an old hag." That was worth the price of admission.

The food is good the drinks are good. But what really sets this place apart are the employees! Holy crap! Summa the best people you'll meet. That's why I come back just about every day.

NEVER FROZEN. MADE WITH LOVE.And the menu is WAY bigger than it seems. Came here for dinner (takeaway), came back for breakfast (dined-in). The restaurant's facade, next to an AM/PM, is unassuming but I walked in hoping to find something fresh in a neighborhood packed fast food and seven-elevens. I wanted veggies for dinner although the menu was more of a diner type. Super-nice server/owner said, "we have a lot more than that; let me know if you want something else." Salad it is!I opened my salad box back home: super crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and thinly diced onions. Side of tangy vinaigrette in a little plastic tub. EXACTLY what I wanted and it was almost midnight! And it only cost $3.50!!Next morning I dined in and ordered the special made-to-order egg scramble, with bacon, veggies, and cheese (my picks). Again, it was perfect...and only six bucks with a drink! The guy next to me at the counter had a great looking burger, which wasn't pre-frozen like most other Portland bar and grills. Someone else told me they make a killer bloody but I didn't try one myself. Lots of neighborhood folks seemed to come in here to get a tasty, fresh meal at a good price. I'm so happy KC's is there to provide a fast food alternative. She must be able to offer such great prices because of the lotto machines. I'm in the neighborhood semi-frequently and will make a point to come back here frequently.

I gotta say, I am impressed. I stopped by this place on a whim a few months ago, and it has since become my new favorite "local" stop. The food is always great, but the people that work there are consistently welcoming and friendly. Their burgers are a right perfect meal for me after work, not too huge, not too small, just right with a side of fries, and cooked right to order. The cooks have different specials every day, too, that are just great.KC's is a pretty wonderful place, that I expect to keep coming back to for some time.

I love this spot, I just recently found it. It's a great deal, good food! The servers and cooks are super friendly and nice. I've only ever been there to grab dinner and a drink, and I always find myself wanting to stay longer. The only thing I don't enjoy is their ranch.

Stopped in for lunch and had a made-to-order turkey and swiss sandwich, grilled with lettuce and tomato added with a big side of fries. Played video poker for a while...way better environment than a casino. Came back for dinner...very fresh salad with garlic bread and a limeade. Watched a movie. Read my book. Great place to hang out. Real charmer of a bartender! Wanted to adopt him!
