Insomnia Coffee

The coffee here is great, arguably one of the better ones in the area. Their beans are amazing, and I'm particularly fond of their lattes, especially the lavender one. They offer a variety of flavors, and the staff is incredibly friendly.Tip: For the freshest beans, come on a late Thursday or Friday.

Coffee is decent, but staff have the personalities of a wet toilet seat, and the follow through of a temp. There are better coffee options near by. Avoid this place.

Insomnia is the best! My husband and I come here often and love it. My husband's favorite drink (ever) is the real caramel latte (RCL for short), and he orders it every single time. I love their lattes and tend to switch up the flavors each time. I love their pumpkin spice latte and their maple spice latte, but every drink we've had has been really good. Prices are fair and the staff are always SO nice. It can get busy and be hard to find somewhere to sit, but something usually opens up if you wait a few minutes. We love this place. You definitely won't regret coming here!

Very cozy spot to come and study. The baristas are always very sweet and the drinks are delicious. Definitely a cute spot!

I used to LOVE Insomnia. I'd come here all the time for my coffee. Then I'd come occasionally but always buy the D&W coffee beans there. Now I do neither. There is a barista there that is beyond rude, which put me off from wanting to spend my money there again but the prices added into that was more than enough. This barista talks down to people, is extremely snobby and acts like they're better than everyone. Not a fan. The coffee is still absolutely top notch which is unfortunate because I don't like spending my money there. I buy the Dapper and Wise beans elsewhere and I've found MUCH friendlier establishments to spend my money at. I was absolutely DONE with Insomnia yesterday, 12/9/23, when I placed an order for pickup and was given a 10 minute wait. I absolutely HATE the odeko app that they use. It's laborious. I was trying to order steamers for my kids and somehow the price was different. One was more expensive, which was the 8oz. And I figured that it must be bigger than the kids steamer as it's more expensive. So I ordered the 8oz. But wait. It was the exact same size as the kids one. When I asked the barista why it was more expensive than the kids steamer but the same size she just said I don't know, next time order the kids steamer. So. Done with Insomnia. Which really sucks as it used to be my FAVORITE. And the staff was too. Not anymore.

We ordered the blueberry muffin, the cinnamon roll, the mango smoothie, and the Aztec mocha and real caramel latte, both blended. The drinks were all really good! I really liked the caramel latte. The cashier was also really nice and helpful. We asked for the pastries to both be warmed up. We did eat the cinnamon roll when it was kinda cold but we thought it was ok, it was nice that it wasn't too sweet though.

Updating my prior review. The more I come here, the more I love it. I'm currently in line awaiting my first EGGNOG Chai of the season. Literally my favorite drink ever! The other coffee shop across the street doesn't seem to do eggnog anymore. The lines definitely move faster these days and they seem to have more people working. I've tried a few new pastries as well and everything has been delicious. I also now buy bags of their house chai to take home and make for myself and it's the best I've found for make-aThey also try to make those connections and remember my name and my order which I really appreciate. And I love the online ordering through Odeko. Happy to be starting my day with such deliciousness!!

+super friendly staff+clean and cozy decor, plenty of indoor seating+huge selection of syrups / flavors. + quiche seemed to be very popular. Chocolate croissant was yummy. + really good coffee. I'm usually a Dutch bros girl but the Cardamom caramel latte has me hooked.

I don't know how I managed to walk away from the counter with just one rose cardamom croissant rather than the entire shelf of baked goods, but alas, I have but one wallet and one stomach. Never mind, I consoled myself. I live up the street and I'd be back another day. Or every day. That rose cardamom croissant is heavenly. Crispy, flaky, every bite bursting with crystalline sugar. I might just get that every time I come back. At decent prices and a fun assortment of drinks, how could you not want to come back? I loved that they had at least two variety of drips. I take my coffee black and so it's nice to have the option to go tangy or not. They leave them out front which I assume means you can get a refill whenever you need one. The shop is huge! Plenty of room for you to make space for friends and have a chat or hole up in a corner and study. You won't be fighting over outlets here. I like that there's a comfy corner with armchairs to rest in. The baristas are quick, efficient, but kind enough as they take and hand out your order.
