Why you should dine here:Willamette waterfront view off the marina boardwalk is an absolute chillax time and one of the best outdoor dining spots in PDX.The service is always the most professional & top notch! The host is always partnering with the wait staff in steady attentiveness. Each of them with the right personality. The food ~ delish! Pasta is all dente perfect, wine suggestions right on, portions are great, etcetera. Enjoyed every time.Parking garage nearby or street parking on the south end of the boardwalk. A nice stroll along the marina before and after dinner.

We really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it was not it. The service was extremely slow & wouldn't even pick up any finished dishes... we had all appetizer & pasta dishes empty on our table that were finished when we left... The food tasted like pasta sauce from the store. my husband got the Italian ragu & it tasted cold when we got it. My carbonara tasted like butter noodles. There was also a fly in my carbonara. Honestly we were really disappointed especially since this place isn't cheap. I could have made pasta better myself.. & I am not a good cook so this says something. Would not recommend unless they improve.

While traveling home on vacation to our home in Eugene, we spent a day and night in Portland. On the recommendation of some friends who live in Portland, we tried Il Terrazzo.Excellent choice! We typically split, not to save money, but because most servings are simply too large and we would rather leave comfortable than massively stuffed. We paired a split Caesar Salad and Boscaiola with a couple of glasses of a local Cabernet Sauvignon. Everything was excellent! And... no split charge. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The location is right on the Portland Waterfront and within walking distance of our hotel. A win-win all around.Definitely will recommend.

I'm back in Portland and went here last evening it's one of my favorites . It was a quiet Sun eve. The service a was excellent as usual and it felt like coming home. However this was my first disappointment since I have been going there We both had the Caesar salad I had the pasta with Pesto which was very good. My son ordered the Tortellini at $32. He said it was very good but it was the size of a child's portion! I do hope this is not the sign of things to come my first major disappointment

First I would like to let you know that there is a time limit on the tables. There was nothing on the menu, website or from the wait staff that told us that. Once we paid our check one waitress said stay as long as you like followed by another waitress telling us we needed to leave because they had another reservation for the table. The location is great. The table/chairs not so comfortable. We had a reservation. Somehow we ended up with two waitresses and were asked the same questions twice... Very odd. We both had the traditional Bolognese... The noodles were good but the sauce mediocre. The tiramisu was delicious. Unfortunately we won't be back. The whole ambience and situation pretty much ruined our evening.

This was a last minute decision since we were down by the marina and it was very nice. We were seated in the bar, which was cozy and had a nice view out over the river. D'Layne was our server and she was so helpful. She'd actually tried most of the menu and so could give us good advice, which we needed since most of the dishes were unfamiliar. We started with the soup of the day and the Caesar salad. Both were good but the soup - tomato bisque - was rich and creamy and perfect for a cold wet winter night. The fresh mint popped and set it apart from the usual bisque. We then had the Boscaiola and the Burro Di Salvia. The Boscaiola was rich and creamy with sausage and mushrooms. The Burro was delicious and light - a sweet potato ravioli with sage. We finished with the cannoli. My favorite was the rum raisin. This is a great option on the waterfront.

Highly recommend this place and reservations. Best Italian restaurant I have been to! Had 3 out of town folks wanting something local and it did not disappoint. Be ready for longer wait times in general but the staff communicates it upfront but makes up with hospitality! I recommend inside as the local heathans are in full effect due to lack of local government support.

Ordered the seasonal butternut squash for $27. The ravioli were drowning in greasy butter. In addition, there were only six of them and they were not stuffed with very much squash. I was still hungry afterwards. This is my favorite dish of the season so was very disappointing. I was so hungry that I ate it anyhow...after providing feedback wait staff didn't do anything for me...I would have expected a discount or free dessert - - something. Ended up getting an upset stomach later due to butter overdose.
