Hunny Beez is my local spot when I'm too tired or busy to cook, have nothing in the fridge or they have a special I need to try.I've had most of the menu throughout the last year. The specials are truly my favorites. The lasagna and Filipino spaghetti blew my mind. Recently, during burger week the SPAM fries made my day. When I get sick, the Chicken Tinola Soup helps with the healing process. If I'm in need of a cookie, the ube chocolate is my go to. Super easy to order online. The staff is incredibly friendly. See you soon Hunny Beez!

I had high expectations because let's face it as a FilAm person in the PNW, aside from my mom's cooking, I needed a place to go. Unfortunately pretty much everything we ordered was a let down. AMBIANCE: I didn't really stay in the restaurant itself because I ordered takeout online but it was a cozy places from what I saw. Situated on a narrow street parking was on the streets but their signage made it easy to find as it's a little tucked away.SERVICE: They were quick to make the food and it was ready on time which was great. I was greeted right when I walked in so friendly service for the takeout. FOOD: - Wings: We had ordered the adobo wings and Sinigang Wings. They were okay I guess. Super dry, over fried, not as much flavour as far as adobo and Sinigang are concerned. Sinigang should be sour and have that tamarind flavour which was absolutely not there. I could somewhat taste those classic Filipino flavours in the adobo wings, but it was still lacking that classic adobo flavour for sure. - Silog Plate: Was excited for this because we got the pork adobo and the tortang talong. The adobo was VERY dry. Barely any of the juicy flavour that it should have. As for the tortang talong, such a huge let down. It's supposed to be thin and eggy with charred eggplant flavour and this thing was thick, and wet, and not well cooked, and just overall flavourless. - Langoniza Musubi: TERRIBLE. What a weird flavour and did not taste like any longanisa I've ever had. It was dry, the rice was flavourless, and barely any seaweed on it to wrap around. It tasted oddly like....corn? No sweetness. No juicyness of the sausage. Just bad.- Spam Musubi: Just okay. And again such a small strip of the seaweed. - Fried Corn Wheels: Eh. Fried and dry. PRICE: Reasonable in my opinion. But the quality was just not great at all.OVERALL: Such a let down. I know Filipino food tastes different depending on the province, the tradition, but there has to be FLAVOUR. There was not. Just a really disappointing show of Filipino food. I appreciate the show of Filipino cuisine but this ain't it friends.

The food here was something I haven't had before (bihon), and it was pretty delicious! Though, not my cup of tea at the end. Which is totally fine. The service was great and food came out quickly. Knocking off a star since the music in the restroom was so loud (which in hindsight, is a good thing depending on what you do in there). Vibes otherwise were good. I love how they offer cucumber/lemon water which is nice and refreshing when walking and exploring the area

We got a spread of food and sweets to try because of all the good photos and reviews. It's a small, counter service joint close to PSU campus. The cashier was really friendly and gave us his recommendations. We ended up trying the adobo wings, rice bowl with sausage and beef, Ube choco cookie, Ube rice krispy, and Ube banana bread. We liked the desserts but they were nothing spectacular. Adobo wings were my favorite but my partner thought they were a little dry. The rice bowl was the biggest disappointment: both the sausage and beef were flavorless and the beef was very tough, the lumpia Shanghai were mediocre, the white rice and eggs were the best things out of the bowl. We won't be coming back or recommending it to others sadly.

Maybe Hunnybeez on SW Park Ave isn't that Instagrammable from the outside- but they probably know a thing or two about what they're doing in the kitchen and outside of that. This was a nice spot to grab some tea drinks and bring to my daughter's apartment about a block away. The space is dim and cozy with several tables and hi-stools by the window. Soak up the Filipino music as you're dining in or just waiting for your order. I ordered a "Thai Ice Tea AND a Lychee Lemonade- 'Mojito' tea"- but somehow, they understood I wanted both flavors together¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Whipped out my card again to buy the Mojito. I also ordered the Veg Lumpia and those tasted as if they were left in the fryer far too long and soaked up wayyy too much oil. I get they're fried to begin with- but the oil on the lumpias, the plate and our fingers, was dreadful.Service was fantastic and dispite my Thai Iced Tea tasting like Lychee, our to-go beverages were fantastic. I'm sure the Filipino food here is on point and the rating says it all, as Hunnybeez is definitely a local spot close to people's hearts.

I saw this place while looking for a Filipino restaurant in Portland. The place is cozy and they have a decent menu of items to choose from.I tried their rice bowl deluxe rice bowl with lechon and longanisa. This was really good and highly recommend it. It's a self-service place, but the staff/owners were really responsive and friendly.I did get their Ube Cheesecake to go and ... that was amazing as well.

Quality and fresh Filipino food, would definitely recommend! We were in town and had to try this out. This hole in the wall restaurant provides a homey atmosphere with friendly service! We ordered the adobo wings, pork lumpia and turon for dessert. Everything was so good and fresh!

Gave these guys one last chance. It's unfortunate because they so close by but their food is very poor. Save the money and go elsewhere.

Food was bland and greasy. First and last time going here can't even call it Filipino Food maybe that's why it's a fusion restaurant The Tocino was a mushy pink concoction like I have never seen before
