We were craving crab puffs and their salt and pepper squid, so we decided to give them another shot!Walked in and was seated promptly in a window booth. Noticed the QR code for ordering at the table. Decided to give it a shot. We let the server know we used the QR code to order when she came over. Our order came out promptly and the food was just as good as we remembered. Restaurant was clean. Service friendly. We'll be back more often.

Had high hopes for this spot based on the reviews. It was fairly pricy ($70 for two people) which made me think we were getting some good food. Chicken was incredibly dry... like almost inedible. Noodles came plain and the rice was super al dente... the amount of food is insane but it gave the impression that it was a buffet and we got the scraps from what remained. The staff was helpful when picking up, but the place is very dated and full of elders. I should have gotten the vibe right away that it was going to disappoint me. I am not sure I'll ever make it back here... too many better options in town.

i love this place the only problem i would say is in the evening they are so busy that the service suffers and food is older i think they need more workers for the amount of people who eat here but for lunch it's amazing

The food was fantastic! There was so much such great proportions. Tons of rice tons of barbecue pork they served me and my family right on time. Kind waiters who bring you soup and tea right as you sit down they are patient when you are waiting for your meal, ive never had better food if i could i would give it 10 stars!! 100% recommend and i will be returning as soon as possible also the lighting is dim but not depressing dim its a relaxing lighting!

Along with my parents, I've been looking for a new "favorite" Chinese Food Restaurant. House of Beijing isn't it.I'll do the good first- it's locally owned and operated by a family. The food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. Yep, that's it for the good. The bad to awful parts. Where to start......The filth. Literally had cigarette butts on the floor. We pointed this out, but they weren't cleaned up. The carpet is just gross and visibly dirty. Not ADA friendly. My 81 y/o mother had to be carried up two steps. Not cool, House of Beijing. It wasn't so much bad service but more that they're extremely under staffed. Our waitress was kind and knowledgeable, but because she was trying to manage the entire restaurant, it was about a 15-minute wait to have our order taken. Food came out separately in 5-10 minute intervals. My mom was finished with her meal before my husband and I were served. Water/tea wasn't refilled. The food was mediocre. Nothing terribly wrong other than I couldn't get the mental image of what the kitchen must look like if the dining area was representative of their cleaning/hygiene standards. The egg flower soup was your run of the meal soup. My hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. My meal consisted of pan fried noodles, fried shrimp, bbq pork and crab puffs. Again, no complaints, but nothing to rave about.Mom had crab puffs and fried shrimp. Dad had a GIGANTIC mountain of pork chow mein and the hubby had almond chicken. If this rating was food alone, I might have considered 3 stars, but with the cleanliness/service issues, one star seems generous.

I have worked next door to this restaurant for 11 years and they are the epitome of consistency. Their food is always good and served in huge portions. The staff here work their butts off. They are no nonsense when it comes to hustling out the food. Dinner time can get crazy busy, especially on weekends and every day between the hours 6-8pm. That's when ull have to wait the longest for your food, so plan accordingly. I usually order mine to go since I can literally just walk next door, but the dining room gets packed during these hours, which really speaks of their popularity. I really have to hand it to them. They run a tight ship and I have never been disappointed.

We tried House of Beijing after seeing all the recommendations on a local FB page. So glad we did. We ordered a few different entrees, fried rice and chow mein for take out. All of our food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

The food tasted good until I took a bite of my crab puff and there was a clump of someone's hair in my mouth. This is actually so disgusting for how much you pay for this place. Will not be ordering again :)
