Nice location. Right in front of a Home Depot that I frequent, so that's why I've stopped in on a few occasions. Mostly take out, but have dined in once. Good service. Brisket and St. Louis ribs are good. Rib tips not good. They are always out of collards when I'm there unfortunately. Definitely give them a try though.

Arrived about 5:30 on a Tuesday. Casual atmosphere BBQ restaurant. There is Booth/Table & also Bar style seating. Walk-in & find a seat. Service was not good. The restaurant was not busy but still took someone 10 minutes to even approach our table. I also noticed it was taking awhile for to-go & dine-in orders to be filled. 20-30 minutes. Unless they are BBQing the meats to order, it should not take this long for to-go/dine-in orders to be filled imo. Not sure if they were short staffed or just laggy. Also noted there were tables that needed to be bused/cleaned. We had to ask for our previously cleared table to be wiped down. Once we placed our order with Drinks we had to remind our server about our drinks after 5-10 minutes of waiting.I ordered Burnt ends, Mac & cheese & sweet potato fries as pictured. The cornbread was the stingiest size I have ever been served(Looks bigger in the Pic) & had a odd cake like texture. The burnt ends were dry, tasted not fresh(I had to drench them in BBQ sauce), the Mac & cheese was nothing to rave about. Saving the best for last, were the sweet potatoes fries. They might even be in line for the best SPF I've ever had which is surprising considering everything else was mediocre.

Last time I attempted to get food from here, they just never acknowledged my order, and when I called, they said they never got it. Today, they canceled my order and said they were closed (see screenshotthat they are open), so I called and have been on hold for over half an hour (They DID answer and put me in hold. At the top of my screenshot, you can see the call still in progress). While on hold, I ordered from Reverend's, and it is here, hot, and delicious! Avoid these assholes at all costs if you actually want some food.

This was our favorite BBQ spot in the Portland area. Freshly made, well seasoned and perfectly cooked, you cannot go wrong.I would usually get the Brisket, beans and macaroni. The team behind the magic is enthusiastic and genuine. Worth a visit!

After driving pass this place for a couple of years, we decided to give it a try. It's a casual place with a couple of TVs. There are some pictures of actors and local decor. The staff is very nice and can assist when you don't quite know what to order. Get there early because they do tend to be out of a menu item. Collard greens seem to go fast quite often. But the green beans and bacon are a good runner up. The meat is really good. Flavorful and tender. The cornbread is nice and moist. And they have mild, medium and hot BBQ sauces at each table.

I was surprised to see I hadn't left a review before because I've eaten here and had it delivered many times over the years. It's definitely close and they have a large variety of mains and sides. The main reason I come here is because they have big plates. You can get 3 meats with 2 sides and cornbread. We like to be able to just share rather than getting our own meal every time. Plus when you take someone out it's nice for them to enjoy their meal and still have a good amount left over for later. I would agree that the sides are not the most amazing but the meats are generally good quality and well cooked (like fall off the bone and not tough at all). We've always been happy with the sauce flavors for the meat and the portions are pretty standard for BBQ. We've found it pretty consistent and when dining in staff has always been pleasant. With delivery we've had no issues and it arrives just fine.

I'm always a little skeptical when I visit a restaurant in a strip mall, but this didn't didn't disappoint. They're located in the parking lot of Home Depot, but they have their own parking area. When we went, there was a sign that said to sit at any table with a menu on it. We were greeted upon entry by a super friendly employee who ended up being our server. The service was amazing. Like more than 5 stars amazing. Alex was our server, and if I could request him every time I would. The food was really good. I had the ribs and the bacon cheddar sausage with mac and cheese and potato salad. The ribs didn't exactly fall off the bone, but they were really tender, and the sausage was heaven. I was concerned that the mac and cheese was going to be dry and unflavored based on how it looked, but it was surprisingly very good. The inside of the restaurant itself is pretty neat looking. Lots of different decor and plenty of tables but not a lot of booths.I'm definitely going back to try other menu items.

There are signs around the building about supporting small businesses & "please pay in cash" so they can avoid credit card processing fees - which I wholeheartedly agree with - and I wanted to.However, when we can't even get acknowledged as I watch your staff chat nonchalantly, you've lost our business.The sign said, "If there are no menus on the table, please wait for staff."5 empty, dirty tables with the previous party's dirty leftovers.The place wasn't buzzing with activity, but after 5 minutes standing there and zero "hey guys, we'll be right with you!" or anything, a 3 top walked in and asked what we were waiting on, then saw the sign. We waited another 3 minutes, then walked to Bajio.Another small business that needs better service if they want to survive.
