Good value, large portions, tasty food and friendly owners. I just went Big Island last summer and think this place is better than a really popular place in Kona Go with the Death Row Plate for $27. Two types of fried chicken, poke, mac salad and rice. Sooo good!! I'll definitely be back. Pay attention to their instagram, they're only open for a few hours and they sell out QUICK because they have lots of IG hype and absolutely meet expectations.

Aloha Hina's you are the best representation of Hawaiian food in this area. I had your Kalua Pork palate it had perfect flavor with the right amount of salt and the meat was moist, not just aju poured over it. My wife had Beef Jun which was excellent too. I loved your mac salad best I've eaten in the tri-county! The Aloha vibe here is very Ahola style true to the people of Hawaii. The place was hopping busy, there was still a smile on her face when we were called to pick up our order. We didn't feel rushed while eating I even joked with her about that big white truck.

Service was fast and super friendly. 5/5Unfortunately got my order wrong (verified with my receipt) but looked at it as an opportunity to try something else.Food was okay with large portions. 3/5Free parking and covered seating area. 4/5I ordered 2x Garlic Chicken plate and 1x Korean Chicken Plate. What I got was one of each of my order and one of what I am guessing is the Teriyaki Chicken Plate which I found when I got home. People who helped me partake in the food said some of the chicken was dry. The flavors were not quite hitting the spot and felt like It needed something more. Maybe it's bc I got there during later lunch time? It was busy!As a Hawaii local, I am always anxious about trying Hawaii food up here on the mainland. My bench mark for awesome Korean fried chicken (or local fried chicken) is Aiea Bowl's Tasty Chicken and this does not measure.Best wishes to this food truck! Perhaps in a while I will try them again later and come when they open for the day.

The food FANTASTIC! The service AMAZING! Was super surprised at how quickly everyone was served! 10/10 will definitely be back! The owner is so so nice and she gave us free drinks for it being our first time there you can definitely tell how much she loves what she does and her appreciation for each and every customer!

The folks were so friendly and helpful. The cost was spot on for the amount of food you get. Unfortunately, like most Hawaiian in the area, it's just OK. It wasn't terrible, but also wasn't spectacular. The poke was a little on the fishy side, which brought my rating lower. Chicken was crispy and well seasoned. Mac salad and rice were mediocre.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hina's! If you're in search of some good authentic local Hawaii food with Aloha, Hina's is the place to be! Their food is as good as the local plates we enjoyed in Hawaii, and the owners/cook are so kind and generous! Met them when they just started their business and they're always so welcoming! There is a covered table area right at the front of their food truck where you can enjoy their food while listening to some local Hawaiian music! Such a hidden gem in Tigard!

An authentic Hawaiian culinary experience awaits you at Hinas Island Grindz and Catering! The food here is simply exceptional. From the beef teriyaki I've savored a dozen times, to the katsu and Kalua pig my wife adores, every dish is consistently perfect.Recently, I ventured beyond my usual order and tried the Hurrikane chicken. The aroma alone was enough to tantalize any food lover. But the flavor? It was nothing short of spectacular! Imagine huge chunks of chicken, lightly battered and fried to crispy, juicy perfection. Each bite exploded with the taste of Hinas' sweet ginger soy sauce, a kick of spicy sriracha mayo, and a dusting of furikake. This masterpiece was served atop a generous bed of white rice, accompanied by the quintessential Hawaiian Mac salad. It was simply remarkable, a marvel I can't believe I hadn't tried sooner.Adding to the overall experience is her awesome and amazingly fast service. She is attentive and efficient, ensuring an awesome experience. For anyone seeking a taste of Hawaii, look no further. It is a food cart so be prepared to sit outside or in the "Garage" area which is really nice BTW.I'll end with this- Hinas Island Grindz and Catering offers an authentic Hawaiian dining experience that's worth every single star.

I finally got to try this Hawaiian comfort food spot, and it exceeded my expectations. The food cart offers both outdoor and indoor seating with excellent service and a quick turnaround. The portions were massive but it was so flavorful I just kept eating.I opted for the Korean fried chicken, which was incredibly juicy with a flavorful breading. The accompanying mac and rice were equally satisfying. The prices felt reasonable, and I'm eager to return and explore more items on the menu. Overall, a delightful experience that I'll definitely repeat.

One of the tastiest meat jun I've had on the mainland!Operating out of a small food truck just SE of Portland, food is delicious and consists of Hawaiian faves with Island portions! Anty piled the food and made sure to let us know she sells out. Even though we took for takeout, the smell emanating from the car caught the attention of our gas filler!Beware though, she sells out of certain items, missed out on Kahlua pig, but everything we had was delicious! Parking easy but try to approach from south of restaurant, tough intersection to turn on

Very good food with huge portions. We have tried many Hawaiian restaurants around the Portland, this might be my favorite. Only wish they were open for dinner.
