Hidden Kitchens offers a lovely Asian fusion experience. The portions are generous, so come with an empty stomach! The wine pairing was a pleasant surprise, complementing the flavors well. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. The sea bass stood out as our favorite dish, and the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and prompt. Overall, it's a solid choice for those looking for good value and satisfying dishes. A great spot for a satisfying meal with a good balance of quality and price.

We had a delicious meal here for our first visit. Every course had a unique flavor and combo of ingredients, and we loved the east/west fusion. Plating had many cute touches. We enjoyed every dish and couldn't choose a favorite, but the eggplant, filet mignon, crab stuffed pepper and sea bass were the big stand outs to us. Portions were larger than many tasting menus and we left full. They have a selection of alcohol and nonalcoholic drink options. Service was friendly and it was a perfect spot for a date night. They were kindly able to accomodate an allergy . We'll definitely return.

Amazing experience and great service!! Can't say enough good things about it. I did the 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything tasted great. All of my course presentations were truly amazing (except for one) so I didn't take all the pictures. The restaurant was located in a house so the vibe was like you were at a friends place with amazing food.Highly highly recommend!! Must try.

We visited Hidden Kitchens this week for their winter tasting menu and it was such a gem! The restaurant is so cozy and cute and feels like you're having dinner at a friends house. The service was warm and welcoming. The real gem here is the FOOD. When they say fusion, they really mean it. There were nods to the owner's Vietnamese roots but also an exploration of recipes they learned along the way from friends. The portions were HUGE - come hungry! Overall the value for the food you're getting is wild. My husband loved the petit filet (whatever marinade they use needs to be bottled and sold!) and I loved the sea bass dish. I can't wait to come back each season to see what else they create.

One of the very few places that offers a Vietnamese tasting menu in the PDX area. Speaking as a Viet and a self-proclaimed foodie, I just love this place so much. Their food is elevated fusion Vietnamese food. Food was excellent in taste, good portion, good value for the price. The thing that impressed me the most was they used ingredients that don't normally appear on the menu at a regular Vietnamese place, but more often appear on a Vietnamese family dining table. Please give them a try if you want to experience the authentic taste of Vietnam that blends seamlessly to other cuisines. The ambiance is very cozy. The staff was so generous and passionate about their business. They really care about what they do.

Amazing! From the moment we stepped into the warmth of the restaurant's ambiance, it felt comfortable. Owner chef was nice and even greeted us at the table. Each dish tasted great, you can tell the chef had put a lot of heart and soul into it, transforming simple food into edible artwork. We both got the wine pairing and especially the pinot noir with the steak was wonderful. Oh, the seabass was soo good. The whole menu was carefully curated with each course building upon the last to a satisfying finish. This fixed-menu fusion journey is a must-try! Portland's newest gem.
