Hidden Bay Cafe

Not sure why my friend wanted to come here as they have very little to offer. Guess he thought a view of the marina was enough. It's not much of a place, pretty small. I guess if you're in the area and just wanted a drink or something super simple this would work, but not much more than that. Service was very basic and not particularly friendly or anything. I would have been happier if the jenky metal chair hadn't snagged the heck out of my jeans though. I literally went to stand up and got caught and had to sit back down to unhook my fabric just so I could leave. Feels like they could do more.

Marissa rocks she served me a great meatloaf sandwich on a gluten free bun. Tuesday is when the owner makes meatloaf. Show up for that if you are a fan. I stopped eating meat but my low thyroid needs occasional meat. The view and the food make this cafe super worth the trip!!!Marissa runs a great clean place and welcomes you to her kingdom

My mother and I recently visited HBC for the first time this season, and were very happy to see that the grilled salmon caesar salad is still on the menu! Secondly, we were very impressed over the noticeable upgrades from last year - real wine glasses, plates and utensils (instead of plastic). Best of all, we'd like to also give a shoutout to the two lovely cafe tenders, Jessica & Makynzie, who took very good care of us and made sure we were well taken care of!

They don't have a lot to choose from.The waitress was stressed, the first words came out of her mouth: "I'm busy!" We left!

We must have hit the hidden cafe on a really really bad day bc the service was...well...hidden...and the food was mediocre at best.Oh the plus side it was a gorgeous sunny day and I got to visit with a dear friend passing through town. The views were spectacular.Our waitress was very friendly, and it appeared very overworked. She was taking orders, grilling stuff and running ragged. We tried our best to give her the benefit of the doubt. And, we were ravenous. We waited for OVER AN HOUR. Poor thing was so overworked, I think she spaced our order bc she came back to make sure she had the order correct.She was extremely apologetic. My Alaskan grilled fish was dry and the melted cheese was also dry, like it was sitting for a long time. Again, I think it was a combination of unfortunate circumstances, but the experience was such a let down, I will never return, regardless of the view.

Very shot staffed. Restaurant kinda hard to find. They stated on the menu that there was gluten free bread options but they didn't have any. Overall I would only recommend in a pinch. Food was not worth the money as well.

New cozy patio dining! We stopped in for lunch with view of the marina. Steaming bowl of yummy clam chowder and great outdoor barbecue hamburgers.

Salmon salad is wonderful .. a bit spendy at $18 however service and location make it one of my favorite places for lunch on a sunny day.

strolled into this quite literal "hidden bay cafe" for a casual evening meal with my girl and oh boy was I surprised! The food was reasonably priced for such good flavor and the view made everything much more scrumptious! Support local business and don't be a d***, tip your servers!!!
