Y'all gotta come here. Food, service, and everything was so amazing here! I'm usually a butter chicken girly but I Got the Special Chicken by Chef to try something different and this dish surely did it for me. Best thing I've had in a while, the lamb biryani was so tender and perfect amount of spice and so much flavor. Of course the garlic naan was a must and yogurt to cleanse the pallet.Flavors here were like no other, can't wait to come back :)The staff was so nice and the chef even came out and brought out the food which was so wholesome and sweet. Good food made by good people!

We have had Indian food all over the world including all over the US and understand that some restaurants are amazing, some sub-par, some lack consistency in cooking...but it wasn't till we got to Portland that we ever really tried what we've known to be awful Indian food - I mean we've had better Indian food in Cancun, Mexico than anywhere near Portland and that's saying something! We were really surprised when we moved to Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area part-time to find the Indian food experience so severely lacking. We've worked our way through pretty much all the restaurants in PDX and Vancouver and this was one of the last places we hadn't tried on our list yet. We went for a bit of early dinner having been to a flower farm nearby we figured this would be the time to finally try this restaurant.Walking in there were a few tables already seated which I like to see, not a good sign when you walk into a restaurant and it's empty. It seemed clean although the seats and upholstery needs some serious work or replacement, the booth seats looking broken and scratched and their waiting area being very worn and scratched, they also lacked window shades so the sun was very bright on our eyes and we needed to wear sunglasses. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Mahkni, garlic naan and a side of mint chutney and asked for everything medium spice level. The Gobi arrived first, Gobi is one of our absolute favorite dishes. I could barely tell if it had been fried if not for the soggy bits of batter here and there and the massive amount of oil swimming on the plate (a good Gobi is double fried to give it a good crisp), and it didn't have that sweet and tangy sauce that you look for in a good Gobi Manchurian it was very tomato heavy, acidic. Huge bummer, I couldn't bring myself to eat more than a few bites before I gave up.Then came the curry and the naan. I enjoy a smooth curry that is creamy with a good depth of flavor, spice and paneer that is firm, preferably paneer that has been charred somewhat like you see on tikka kabobs. While the paneer wasn't super soft it wasn't charred- it was just ok. The sauce wasn't very smooth, it had some spice but lacked any creaminess really and there were definitely flavors missing in my opinion and it was somewhat grainy. It tasted vaguely of pumpkin to me for some reason. The naan was very dry but ok.Never received the chutney.Service seemed nice, when we asked for the bill they told us to pay at the front.I walked into the bathroom and it appeared as if someone had peed all over the toilet seat so decided to not use it.I really wish I could recommend this restaurant but I can't...We previously lived on the eastside of Seattle, WA with amazing Indian food especially Kanishka. We also had access to amazing Indian food when we lived in Raleigh-Durham at an award winning restaurant called Viceroy which reminded me much of an award winning restaurant we frequent in London called Dishoom and also the Kati Roll company. We have tried Indian food all over the world and US and had meals made for us by clients and friends who originally were from India so I'm confident in saying we know what good Indian food tastes like.I feel like in Oregon and around it Indian food has been somewhat gentrified if that's the correct word. Almost like they are trying to cater to the white bread American clientele, people unfortunately lacking in knowledge of what good Indian food tastes like, people intimidated by big flavors. I wish these restaurants would stop doing that and introduce more authentic, flavorful food. We are vegetarians so maybe some of their meat dishes are better? The menu is huge, maybe if they cut back on the amount of dishes the quality could be more refined. I just really miss more authentic Indian food.I'm really sorry to the restaurant for the 3 stars I really wanted to like it.

This place is hidden inside a plaza so it is hard to miss but the food is very good. We ordered samosas, garlic naan, rice, butter chicken and chicken saag. The food was very good and we had enough to take some home. The service was fast and easy.

This restaurant is a hidden wonder. It's tucked away in a Lake Oswego shopping center, and doesn't really jump out at you when you're walking towards it. When you walk in you realize you're paying for the quality of the food and friendly service, but not for the fancy menus or decorations. Where they lack in ambience they make up for in food that tastes better than a home cooked meal. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The only regret I have was not fasting the whole day before going so I could've eaten more of their food! The lamb tika masala was delicious as well as the garlic naan I ate it with. My wife got the secret chicken which had just a little too much kick for me. Excellent experience, will be back again!

I usually don't start a restaurant review with service and vibe/aesthetics but in this case, i'm gonna. If you wanted to know what it's like to eat dinner at the DMV, this might be your jam. The lighting is awful and will shorten your stay for sure, but maybe that's their point? Service was the bare minimum but awkwardly staring at our table the whole time. The food was hit and miss for me, where as the malai chicken tikka was tender and flavorful, the tandoori chicken was on the dry side and not all that pleasing. I also tried lamb biryani, it was flat and after one bite, I was kind of ready to move on. All & all, not sure if I would return as it was not horrible, but again, it was not memorable.

Ordered takeout and I was very happy with the quality of the food. Don't listen to the grumps who complain about "ambiance". This is a no frills strip mall eatery, and there's nothing wrong with that. I love Indian food, but there were a lot of things on the menu I'd never heard of and I plan to try them soon. Love how they broke it into regions, too. Indian food isn't one single category!

I had takeout - conveniently located right next to my hotel. Restaurant has zero ambience. The seating is comfortable, but no effort is made to create any kind of atmosphere. Definitely not an eat-in dining experience. They have quite an extensive menu covering all regions of India and a bit into China. That may explain the basic, nothing special, but not bad food. I had my usual chicken tikka masala, vegetable samosas, and garlic naan bread. The tikka masala was bland though the chicken was cooked perfectly. Vegetable samosas tasted like they could've been purchased frozen and then heated. The garlic naan bread was also unremarkable and in fact, I didn't like the texture which was kind of pasty. The whole experience felt like fast food Indian and not worth the $31 tab.

Loved the food and service of this small Indian restaurant! We kicked things off with the Gobhi Manchurian. Picture this: crispy cauliflower bites coated in a zesty, slightly spicy sauce. It's like a party in your mouth! Seriously, if you're into those flavors that pack a punch, this dish is your go-to. - 5/5 We also tried the hariyali paneer tikka - it was okay. Nothing worth mentioning For main course - we tried their comforting Daal Makhani 4/5 and creamy Korma with fresh veggies, paneer -4/5 the curry was sweet and savory in all the right ways. Loved their Naan and Paranthas! Warm, fluffy, and just a tad crispy around the edges. It's the perfect sidekick to soak up all those amazing sauces. They nailed it! The folks at Hello little India are top-notch. They're friendly, helpful, and totally get your cravings. They'll happily guide you through the menu, making your dining experience even more awesome. Parking was a breeze, by the way! And speaking of the service, it was as great as the food. Quick and attentive, which made our meal even more enjoyable. Great place to try if you are shopping in the woodburn outlet malls and craving good Indian food.
