You know, I drive by this place four times a day probably... Eating their handful of times over the years but a lot of times it was based off of who I was hanging out with they wanted to give it a try. Not saying anything bad, but it is a bit expensive and definitely quite time-consuming to go here often. One of these places I'm surprised I haven't reviewed yet. Probably the assumption that I reviewed it many years ago being that I've spent a lot of time on Yelp in the past 10 years.I went to try and see if I could see a photo of this chicken cordon blue burger... That I saw advertised on their signage. So I didn't leave a review and thought that's just awful. This place is cute absolutely cute. It's got a great gift shop. Great staff people are super friendly and everything is themed up. We go to multiple October fast each year and I can tell you one thing is that the food here is better than half of the places I've eaten at Mount Angel and half of the places I've eaten at Leavenworth.Things are good here they're fresh, but they are a bit on the expensive side and it doesn't quite have that massive plate diner fee that you might expect from the outside.Really and truly, though if you have a hankering for this type of food, there's really not that many places I know of in the area that are gonna put out a good product some people really like Elmers, but I've never been a fan.Break up with you lederhosen and get in here, Prost

Meh. Dropped by for a quick meal. Tried the meat and eggs. Asked for bacon, got sausage. Poached eggs a little under. Hash browns, not much and not crisp. $16.25. Not worth it. Service was a little confused I was told our economy is so great, why does it feel like we're always getting screwed This is a Gresham institution. Don't know if we'll return

This is a delicious stop for dishes on the European slant, in addition to mainstay diner dishes. Beautiful waterwheel and flower displays. I love how the servers are in dirndle outfits. They also have a gift shop. Lots of parking. Large servings. I got the beef Stroganoff and it was special. It had the twang in the creamy, beautiful sauce. The meat chunks and mushrooms were super soft and tasty. The buttered noodles were perfectly cooked and actually grabbed the creamy sauce. It's satisfying but not overly fat rich, but I am sure it was. I felt so good for hours after eating.

Breakfast was so delicious!! Chicken fried steak had the best flavor and came with good sides, lots of choices. Shannon was in great spirits for a busy Saturday morning. Love the cute little booths in the bar and quaint feel to the lounge. Eggs Benedict was spot on. Not a lot of places give you that much hollandaise sauce. And get a pancake !!! Something delicious going on there.

It's such a cute restaurant. We popped in on a Saturday for brunch. They were fairly busy, but we were sat tight away. The service was really good. A few different people checked in on us.We ordered chocolate chip pancakes and the Swedish pancakes. The chocolate chip pancakes were so fluffy, and they were huge! The whipped cream tasted like it was made in house and was delicious. The Swedish pancakes came with a sauce over the top of them, but it was SO MUCH SAUCE. It really drowned the pancakes. This also came with bacon, and the bacon wasn't crispy. It was rather limp. The coffee was good though. They've got a pretty big menu and there's a few other things I'd like to try.

Can't believe it was 10 years ago, tomorrow, that we came to eat at Heidi's!Our waiter was very nice to us, at the end, I told him: I can't believe you guys are getting 3.5 review ratings, I'll do an update and give you 4 stars! We ordered the Pork Weinerschnitzel, red cabbage and mashed potatoes.Onion soup & vegetable soup. AND German Sausage dinner, with sauerkraut, hot German potato salad. Mustard, not in photo. Half was to-go for another meal. Also, chocolate cake & Caramel Pecan Roll, all to go.Their restroom is very clean!

Food was good except for salad which not is just lettuce croutons and dressing and the cornbread that used to be so good isn't a dried up muffin and the roll was a cold roll with rock hard butter that we recieved halfway though the meal.It is sad that such a great restaurant is going downhill trying to cut corners.

I do love an old school diner. Heidi's has the character and the vibe of an old school diner. It's great. Everyone was super friendly, good came quickly, reasonable prices too. I got the German sausage omelette and added some green peppers. It needed the breen peppers for some texture and freshness but the German sausage was amazing and super flavorful. Great wurst. The hash browns were pretty average though as they were not super flavorful and a bit mushy - they just needed to be flipped and crisped up. Would definitely go back and looking forward to my leftovers!

Chicken fried steak is good. Mashed potatoes, Uber lumpy. Side salad came with a huge fly running under lettuce. Ugh! No more fresh baked dinner rolls. Recently, I got the sirloin steak. Med.rare. tough, chewy. I do not recommend this cut of steak plate. Caesar salad sans the kitchen big fly, good typically. No frills. No cucumber, or tomato, just croutons( sometimes). Waiter forgot the listed corn muffin n " real butter". Forgot my drink. After asking again, got a miniature tiny corn muffin n honey flavored whip margarine in a tiny paper cup. Had to ask twice for straws. Food quality is not what it was. Prices are higher. Interior older but nice ambiance.
