Hawaiian Style Grill

This is my favorite place for Hawaiian food in Vancouver. Lots of seating but honestly I still do take out almost all the time as I like eating at home. Very welcoming inside and just chill vibes. I have never had a single issue with food or service here. I love it. They are very on top of taking care of the clientele and our needs.

This place hits the spot, we can't seem to find a good Hawaiian place near us but when we found them when we visit Vancouver we were stoked! We come regularly whenever in the area. We always get the chicken Katsu plate (regular) it's a huge serving size. We love the way everything is good and the macaroni does not disappoint. The place is pretty big lots of seating and the ambiance is usually pretty relaxed. Service is good but the food takes a little while (just like at most Hawaiian places) but worth the wait or call ahead.

The food was acceptable and good.Service at 1st was good till we waited... Then 40 minutes went by. I understand that chicken takes a while, but seeing other patrons sitting around us getting their food before us. That is when I stood up and spoke to the staff about our order and also informed them that we had sat patiently for 40 minutes. As local folks from Hawai'i, we really don't grumble about meaningless issues, but the demeanor that I received was a bit awkward from the staff member. Nonapologetic of the time it took to have our meals served.The restaurant was clean with plenty of room with chairs and tables. A typical family-run restaurant.

My favorite Hawaiian food spot to go to in Vancouver. I like going for lunch and getting their lunch specials. Chicken is nice and charred as well as tender, super tasty. Their Mac salad is super good and I love to drizzle their teriyaki sauce on top of everything. The sauce is phenomenal in my opinion, it's nice that you can buy a bottle. Service is fairly quick but there can be a wait if it is quite busy. Casual dining with a touch of Hawaiian flare. I wish I lived or worked closer so I could go more frequently!

First of all Food was amazing and huge portions. The teriyaki chicken is pretty charred so keep that in mind, it was a bit much for me. They had some kind of problem with their tickets and peoples food and orders were getting mixed up and they almost charged me twice because of it, i had to open my bank app and show them it had been taken out. Food was amazing though, kalua pork was so so good and the rice is perfect. Mac & musubi were good too. Paid like $21 for a mixed plate, soda & musubi but was full before i even finished half so $16 for two meals.

Worst service every time we come. They are rude and take forever. If you order online, it will take three times longer than they tell you and you will need to remind them that you are there several times. I have the worst experiences there and then I stay away for a few years, give them a chance again and it is still an infuriating experience. Do not go here. It's not worth it.

Authentic Hawaiian meals, we loved the Katsu and hawaiian mac salad. Stopped in after spending an hour and a half at skyzone next door and we had built up a huge appetite. 3 people were satisfied with one family style meal that came to less than $40 WOW! They have weekday lunch specials from 11-2 and can cater your event. What a great find in the couve. We will be back. MAHALO

Well ... it looks like they sped up their order time at a loss to the food quality. Today I ordered my standby Mochiko chicken and tried Mauna Loa chicken for the first time. The mochiko was burnt and the Mauna Loa had an old stale flavor to it. Even the rice was not fresh today. Had hard dry bits and not fluffy at all. This place used to be the goat and I would wait for the amazing food. But lately ....

Togo or inhouse, always been good food and service. Mac salad and short ribs are the best around.

* Ordered vegetable yakisoba noodles with vegan sauce. * Waited 47 minutes for the to-go order to be ready. * Discovered chicken on the noodles, despite confirming the dish would be vegan. * Restaurant claimed to have remade the order after the mistake. * Once received, the meal had very few noodles and was mostly carrots. * Total wait time was 1 hour and 15 minutes.* It was not good.* I will never go back.
