We've done both take out and dine in here. This is by far my most favorite Korean place in the area. Their banchan keeps changing and it's always so refreshing. The pancake, japchae and bulgogi chicken are our go to here. The staff here is so warm and welcoming. We always have a great experience here.

Been a while but still a great hole in the wall, hidden inside strip mall!! Ban Chan still great and plentiful but my new favorite is this Kimchi wrapped baby back pork ribs stew!!! Love the fact they serve Korean brown rice(actually purple) and refills on banchan without request!! If u know u know! Please go support and still recommend!!

This is not a "high end" restaurant as others have claimed in their reviews. It is a nicer space - spartan, but nice. Not enough to justify the premium charged for their dishes. I had to check to see the oldest review here because I'd wondered if the poor service could be attributed to a new operation. As of this writing it appears though they've been opened for at least a few months, so no excuse for the service. We were greeted and received water service right away, yet waited a good 10-15 minutes for the server to come and take our order. We asked for drinks and an appetizer first but went ahead and put in our entire order. Nonetheless, drinks came out in a few minutes, but the appetizer came out with one of the mains along with our banchan. Our second main then arrived a good 10 plus minutes after the first main. My experience at Korean restaurants is that I'm used to getting barchan with drinks. After the mains arrive, we can ask for more banchan if necessary - clearly not the case here. After food was served, there was no follow up whatsoever until they returned with the bill. Oh, and the bill. They had the gall to start their tip suggestion at 18%. SMH. On to the food. The seafood pancake was not cooked fully. The batter in the middle was partly raw. The prime rib stew had two large hunks of boiled rubbery meat. We didn't have anything to cut the meat down to size so we removed the boiled chunk of meat and put it on our soggy seafood pancake plate. Using chopsticks and our soup spoon we did our best to cut the meat down to a manageable size. The spicy pork roast dish was the only dish that was executed correctly. Too much competition in Beaverton for good Korean to pay these prices for poor service and average food.

Extremely slow service today. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. Maybe that is not the norm? Food was so so for Korean food. Not really sure how they got so many five stars. Hubby didn't care for the garlic soy chicken. Just said "it wasn't the best". Dolsot bibimbap was also so so and I'm Korean... rice was nicely charred but egg was overcooked. Lacked seasoning so I gochujang'd the life out of it. Had to ask for another napkin because the server brought us one - to share??? She didn't speak English so she had to get someone else to respond to our requests for another napkin and the tea we never got. Maybe they were just overly understaffed? I'm not sure I'd make the trip back here based on this experience today. Too bad, I'd really like to see more Asian restaurants do well here in the PNW.

When we first started coming here it was super delicious but the wait time was long. Now the wait is super short and the food is not as good. It seems like since I was here last all of the recipes changed and the portions got smaller. The dumplings seem to be just generic frozen dumplings now as well.

Way out in the middle of the Tualatin Highway.Fairly new interior, clean, well spaced.Happy to see a large Banchan assortment, especially the raw crab! Refills were offered and we accepted!Soup broths had good flavor and came out piping hot. Pork tasted fresh and had a good sizzle coming out. Refreshing barely tea was a nice touch to sip with our meal. Hustling Service ~ the lone waitress was friendly and hardworking, taking orders, bussing, answering the phone, and most especially smiley & thanked everyone coming in.

Great place! Service was good, they have a robot that helps to bring the food to you. Restaurant is on the smaller/medium size & has a mom & pop feel. The beef bone soup was yummy! Though I do prefer the one at coredam, the japchae here was the best I've had though! So much flavor. The rabokki was yummy as well but the noodles were a bit overcooked & mushy. The banchan was a good variety & fresh. Overall, a great place to come & eat Korean food family style with a group of people. It is a far drive for me & I'm not sure it's a place good enough for me to crave enough to drive over often.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on Friday, this place was over half filled, good signs! One girl ran the front of the house, she was friendly and checked on us throughout the meal. The banchan is excellent, the braised beef is something I've not had as a banchan anywhere before and it was delicious. Banchan was overall on the lighter taste side, which I really enjoyed. The beef bone soup was a bit blend, they provided salt and pepper that gave me a chance to adjust that, but it just didn't taste rich. My wife had the tofu stew and made a similar comment. The tteok bokki was good, but didn't really stand out. The pricing here is pretty reasonable, so overall we enjoyed the meal, and would consider coming back again for a casual meal.

We were doing some UPS drop offs/grocery shopping, when we noticed a new Korean restaurant that just opened. Intrigued, we happily abandoned our original dinner plans and checked into Hansik Town. The restaurant was small but clean. The staff greeted us quickly and took our order when we were ready. We ordered the beef bone broth (seollantang) and spicy beef and glass noodle soup (yook ge jang) and liked both. However, I was really happy with my beef bone broth as it's flavorful and comforting. My fiancé mentioned that, usually, it's hard to find good seollangtang because it is a subtle dish that can be really bland if not done well. There are places in Korea that specialize only in perfecting it, so he was quite surprised that the one that I ordered was as flavorful as it was.I also really liked the banchan offerings; we even got a mini deep fried pork katsu! Overall, I'm very happy with the bone broth soup and will definitely be back.
