Hana Sushi and Izakaya

So tasty and fun! The sushi is fresh, they have great service. Lots of big windows and cute decorations! Definitely coming back

This was the first time trying a conveyor spot like this and I'm in LOVE! It's the best of all worlds, and if you don't see what you want, you can put an order in with the server. The interior is cute, and food is affordable, convenient, fast, and fairly inexpensive. It can add up if you grab all the high-price items, but review the color coding of the plates first and you'll be set. My 8 year old son loved it too. It's nice for curious eaters because they can try something new without committing to a full roll or plate of it.

The fermentation tastes in the udon was overwhelming. It made it truly distasteful. The sushi was excellent.

This conveyor belt sushi spot was in a convenient downtown location. It was a big space with high ceilings and lots of seating, and the conveyor belt was rolling.My husband and I tucked into a bench and slid right over to the belt. There were some good-looking sushi plates, but it was hard to figure out their color-coded prices.We finally selected five or six maki roll small plates, and they were...ok. The other slightly disappointing part of this experience was that it was, by far, the most expensive conveyor belt sushi I had in PDX, a town where there are a LOT of conveyor belt sushi spots.

Hana is definitely one of the better conveyer belt sushi spots I have been to. The interior/ambiance was super cute. This would be a fun spot to take kids. They have a robot that goes around and brings food which I loved. The rolls on the actual conveyer belt were hard to identify based on the menu which was my only downside. Servers were really friendly. Came around 1:30 on a Sunday and were able to be seated right away.

A new conveyor belt sushi spot in the Pearl. I like how open and well-decorated this space is. Lots of sushis on the belt but you can also order fresh with the chefs.Overall the sushis were decent. The freshly seared and fried ones were the best while others were alright. Decent portion ans fresh ingredients used. Rice could use flavorings and be less dense though.All in all, a fun experience but not the best tasting sushis we've had.

If you're like me, once you get hungry, you need food, and you need it fast. When a friend recommended a nearby sushi place she'd walked by the day before, I was more than willing, and I was glad I had.Originally being from the Bay Area, I've missed the sushi boats that allow you to grab any plate, any time, from the sushi passing in front of you, and I was thrilled to discover Portland's equivalent. What wasn't quite as great was that the sushi didn't have the flavor or texture you'd like in a higher-quality sushi. I mean, it was fine. It just wasn't that great. However, when I go back to Portland, I'm going to check out Hana if I'm in the area because these modern equivalents of Automats are fast and convenient and kind of fun.

It's the best conveyor belt sushi spot I've been to in the area, but there's a little left to be desired. Lots of sashimi, but if you are a rolls person, most of them are imitation crab. There's nice variety for appetizers. The location was clean, and servers were kind.
