Gyro Grill

Wow! I wasn't expecting something so amazing from a gyro place inside a c-store. The lamb was so tender and delicious. I had the gyro and my wife had the shawarma. We split fries (dipped in garlic sauce). I live 20 mins away, but this is a destination place to eat!

Used to be a better place but lately has fallen in quality and portion sizes.Prices are also way up. We use to come here regularly and last two times I tried we were not happy with the food quality.

If you're going to channel your inner Seinfeld soup nazi you better have the food to back it up. They don't.I'll start by saying that the food wasn't bad, the gyros are weird as it's a ground meat combo instead of traditional gyro slices, but I'm up for change if it's good. But the experience was horrible. I started with a call to order some food for pickup and should have just hung up the phone and looked elsewhere, but I went through with it and things just got worse. Call goes like this:Them: Hello.Me: (a little thrown off that a business would just say hello instead of the name) Uh hi, can I order some food for pick up? (still not sure if I had the right number)Them: YesMe: Oh ok, are you ready?Them: I'm waiting....Not a great start, but maybe the person that answers is having a bad day, so I continue.I proceed to order $70 of food including some gyros, a couple plates and extra tzatziki sauce.I start to confirm the order so it's right and he cuts me off telling me to hold on. He reads back part of the order and says he got it.Them: "Ok" *Hangs up the phone. Me: "Ok, how long....hello?"I go to pick up the food and go to the kitchen area and the guy says "What do you want?" I tell him that I called in an order and he asks "the big order?" Umm I guess? No idea if it's considered a big order but name a couple things in the order before he cuts me off. "Pay there." I take the receipt over to pay and ask the cashier if there is extra sauce on the order and the cashier goes "I don't know." Well, you're literally holding the order receipt so.... He looks at me so I ask if it's on the receipt. He reads it back and says no. After paying I go back to the kitchen area and ask for extra gyro sauce. He asks how many and I say 5. His response was really mad, like the order is going to take an extra hour or something. "For 5 I'm going to charge you." I tell him that's fine. I don't mind paying for the extras. He huffs over to the register to ring it up and again "pay there." So I head over and pay for the extra sauce.I get back and he's squirting a three difference sauces into little cups. I say "Oh I just wanted the tzatziki sauce" and he goes ballistic. "Why didn't you tell me that before?!?! I'm the only one here and I have a lot of work" I just look at him a bit surprised that he's gotten so mad about a minor request when I specifically ordered the sauce on the phone and then told him I wanted the gyro sauce. "You're going to have to wait, I have other orders to do." At this point I'm over being nice and spending my time with someone that's overly angry for nothing I've done."Never mind, don't bother." I grab the sauces that were poured and put them in the bag to have him call me an a-hole while I walk out the door. Dude was unnecessarily angry from the get go, but to call me an a-hole when I'm leaving cause I don't want to wait around for his angry attitude to get me some more sauce is the epitome of a business that never deserves my business again.

A hole in the wall, but really a convenient store, to get some gyros. Don't expect much as far as ambiance, but if you're on the go, it's a decent place to pick up gyros. Unfortunately, they ran out of beef while we were there so we got the lamb gyro and loaded fries with chicken. The fries tasted fine, but the chicken was nothing special. The lamb gyro were much tastier. They give you a nice portion of food. They forgot our order of regular fries so we had to remind them. They rushed it out in a timely manner.

Drove out of my way to go to this place , arrived at 8:26 and it says on yelp open till 9:30not too impressed with that. Can't say how the food is since i didn't get any :(

Not sure what the high reviews are for, they claim their lamb is marinated and grilled but it is cheap chunk gyro meat from frozen. Yuck. The pictures of the chicken kabob they show is nothing like the cheap ground chicken you get. Nothing is hand-made there.

First time here. And I'll definitely be back. Little spot inside of a market. I had the lamb gyro and it was filling and full of flavor. I like the big chunks of meat in it rather than thin slices of meat. Sauces that came with it were tasty as well. The baklava was just average. Other that that food was made fresh to order. Give it a try

I often walk here on weekends and let me just tell you I love the people here my brother loves the food and the workers are the GOATS they are THE GOATS and anyone who thinks this place is shitty can go f#ck themselves because these guys are amazing I love this place and even once they gave me more pieces of candy on halloween like i mean they amount of respect i have for these guys are great GO HERE NOW.

Had a wonderful experience here. I got a vegan falafel platter which was delicious. It came with pickled vegetables, rice, hummus, and a delicious dolma. My friends got shawarma platters and everyone really enjoyed them. We also got a very large serving of fries and pita. The portions were huge and the prices were super reasonable. Fast, friendly service, and there was plenty of seating too. Gyro Grill is a hidden gem!

The food is awesome. Don't let the store front fool you. The lamb and the beef gyros are on point!
