I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Fujiyama Sushi Bar & Grill for a takeout experience, and it did not disappoint. The seared salmon and hamachi nigiri were standout items, showcasing fresh, high-quality fish with perfectly balanced flavors. The scallop was also a highlight, tender and flavorful.Service was notably friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared quickly and accurately. The cozy and clean ambiance of the restaurant, though not experienced in person during this visit, was evident from the care taken in packaging the food.Overall, Fujiyama Sushi Bar & Grill offers a delightful takeout experience with exceptional sushi and commendable service. I look forward to visiting in person to enjoy the full dining experience.

This is my go-to sushi spot. For the price, it's the best sushi I've been able to get here in Portland. Every time I'm craving sushi, I get this delivered. Haven't found a roll that beats their Tiger roll.

This place is super small and often loud and packed, making it hard to have a conversation with whoever you're eating with. For the location itself, I would give a 2/5, just because I wish it was bigger. The food was great! The hibachi is great and fun to watch, and the chef making the food is funny and personable. The sushi is also super good, and not crazy expensive. The drinks were okay. The service was SO slow but the staff were super nice. I found myself having to flag down our waitress to get refills, which I hate doing, just cause I feel like I'm interrupting them doing their job. I think that because this place gets so busy it can get a little hectic. Overall this place has great food, but it's not my favorite place to sit down and eat at. I would order takeout for sure!

Terrific Sushi, full menu, friendly and professional. The ambiance is welcoming. The service is wonderful.

This was my first time here. While the staff was Friendly, this place just felt dirty; like things have not been properly wiped down regularly. It also does not smell clean. I also found it visually unappealing with all their to-go stuff visible out in the open and there were holes in the wall behind me. It kind of felt like I was back of house instead of front of house. I also saw a worker cough openly without covering their face with their elbow near the food prep station and then proceed to touch things without washing their hands. To be fair, I came between lunch and dinner and so the team was likely not on their A game and seemed like they were in prep mode. That being said, I will not be going back. Felt more like a dive/night club than a food establishment to me. I wish this place well and hope they can pull it together enough to offer a more comfortable environment.

LOL be careful when checking out here! The lady at the register "made a mistake" and accidentally charged the wrong color plates, which happened to be the most expensive ones. She got super nervous when I asked for a receipt and tried to hide my plates quickly before I could double check. Unfortunately for her I caught her trying to steal from me. Funny stuff! Scamming people on their lunch break? Hope you sleep well at night. Lmao.Oh and the food was pretty sub par. The belt isn't even stocked. Probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to in years. This place is super sketch.

Loved the tempura chicken rolls, never seen anything like this elsewhere.Wish the cucumber rolls weren't so small.

This was probably one of the worst sushi places I've been to. Had to get the menus, chopsticks, and napkins ourselves. The sushi on the conveyer belt was super unappealing and the sushi we ordered was mushy and not fresh. One of our soy sauce dishes had left over food from the previous customer. Save your bucks and try somewhere else.
