Pretty average experience and definitely no need to go back here. Huge variety of cocktails, but food was an afterthought and super uncomfortable bench seating with a low table made it impossible to sit here for very long.Had the oysters which were basically overwhelmed by mango - oyster could have tasted like anything - and the charcuterie board which was fine. Potato skins were little baby sized, so not much value there.Server had nice banter, but ultimately didn't actually recommend anything and so wound up, leaving in favor of pink rabbit next-door.

The overall ambiance is laid-back and chill with dim lighting. I went with seven other friends (note: there's a typical 20% service charge for bigger groups), and the bar is spacious with plenty of seating. They offer indoor seats, street-side outdoor seating, and standing bars. It's perfect for a night out with a large group of friends or a casual date. The drink menu features a wide range of cocktails, hard liquors, a good selection of beers, and mocktails. The variety of cocktails are all beautifully presented with well-chosen stamped ice cubes. Yes, ice cubes are important for good cocktails! We ordered the Crispy Rice Crudo for a light snack, and it was cute, refreshing, and tasty. The bartender and staff were knowledgeable and friendly, without being too overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our drinks and conversation without feeling rushed.Next door is another bar called Pink Rabbit, which has more neon signs, louder music, a festive and funky atmosphere, and fewer seats. Fools and Horses is more low-key, with more seating and a relatively quieter atmosphere suitable for chatting inside. Both are great bars right next to each other, so you can choose based on your mood.

Such a relaxing spot! It's very dark and moody inside with nice leather booths and couches. The drinks were moderately priced for the area and the option of oysters for happy hour is a great plus. They were great quality, small and flavorful, and came with a pickled garlic vinaigrette. The service was attentive and checked up on us regularly and were quick with drinks. I definitely recommend this for a calm night.

Drinks were good but would not recommend for groups. There is only one booth that fits more than 5 people the rest seat 2-4 people. Many of the tables are standing only. The vibe was chill with a dj.

Visited Fools and Horse on a rainy night post-Christmas. Bartenders were nice and knew their libations. They crafted some delectable drinks, and we enjoyed the cozy ambiance and good music. The drinks were excellent.

I'm obsessed with the vibe of this place... the leather seats, snakeskin wallpaper, open fireplace, photo-op phone booth curated & comfortable all dressed up in black & gold The food is great, staff is nice, one of my favorite bars to go downtown!

Came here for a friends birthday with a party of 8. We reserved early knowing it would be a large group. They reserved us a corner table that barely fits 5 because the main area was going to have a dj. The dj never showed up, yet we still had to make due with our scrunched corner. Ordered a Tuna Toastada, and while it was delicious, the portion was merely three small bites. Nice ambiance and friendly service otherwise, but at this price tag, there's much better and spacious options.

Waited 45 minutes for 6 oysters that we never received, the beef tartare that was said "to die for" by the bartender was received as a plate of pickles and forgot the beef?! Definitely was fooled by the horses

Came in for some drinks and snacks after seeing a matinee show at The Armory. It was fairly empty, being only 4pm on a Sunday. There were a couple folks outside and just two other parties inside. The space is nice - great for chatting catching up with a friend or a date night. The large cocktail menu is divided up between spirit forward vs. refreshing drinks. For the first round we opted for the Cash & Curry and one of the spirit forward drinks. I honestly can't remember which we ended up going with but it was delicious though on the sweet side. The Cash & Curry was also pretty sweet but had that nice curry leaf flavor whenever you took a sip. For snacks, we got the board which came with a couple cheeses, some butter and the delicious beef jerked salami type of meet. The board was pretty, though I could have done with some more substance - more bread for the butter, for one. All in all we had a good experience here and had fun looking at the walls. The bartender was all alone when we visited so it took a while to get drinks, but they were friendly and helpful when we had questions. They also checked on us and kept our water full so that's always a plus! While it may not be number one in cocktails around the Pearl, this place was pretty good and I wouldn't mind coming back for drinks.
