Order: 3pc basa fish w/ frys and hush puppiesPros: Overall, the food was really really good. The fish was seasoned nicely and fried hard as I requested. Service was great and the owner was very very nice. The fry's were a little to salty. The hush puppies were really good. I loves the fact that they cut slits into the to go container to let the steam out so that your fry's were not soggy. The fish size was good and the amount of frys received were great as well.Cons: frys a tad bit salty. Only one type of fish served. The hush puppies were considered a side for almost $4 if I recall. Usually, hush puppies comes with fish plates so this location it was a bit of a surprise. The location and parking is questionable but the food is great non the less.

I was walking by when I heard the music this place was playing and I had to check it out. The lady was very sweet and the food came out before I could even finish my cigarette. I ordered the fried fish, hush puppies, fried okra for $22. The portions were nice as I was able to share it with my partner. For a minute, I thought I was back in the south at a fish fry! This food is delicious! Unlike any soul food I had in Portland! This right here is the truth!

So good, whenever we are in PDX, we stop here. The fried catfish is amazing. Seasoned and fried just right. Also grab a flavored lemonade

Amazing food. Great desserts and drinks. I've had almost everything on menu. Have not been disspointed. Their Website is easy to use and straight to the point. Makes it very easy. Service is great.

At blk Heaven Farm and Retreat is a marvelous Place great Vibe good food great getaway when you want to get away

Hardly ever open when they say they are open. You can't rely on going there when they say they're open and finding anyone working - so I gave up.The fish is nicely crunchy and cooked well, but nothing really special. The smallest order is two pieces which is too much for me.Their drinks are really good - if you can find them open order them too!I will say that their fried okra is about the best you're going to get in town. It's not the standard batter dipped most other places have. It's not as well prepared as Grandma's but that takes more time than people are willing to pay for - so it's still a great deal.

The fish was just okay. Really thin and salty with more breading than actual fish. The fries were fine, decently seasoned, again went a bit hard on the salt. Biggest offender for me was the hush puppies with whole corn not even mashed all the way. Maybe it's a preference thing but for me it was an unpleasant surprise and I didn't like it. 3 fish with 2 sides ran me just shy of $20. If it was cheaper, I'd be more forgiving, but it was a lot to pay for a quick fish & chips fix. Wouldn't get again.

I like their food first off. As a pescatarian finding seafood is hard enough. I got the 4 piece dinner with Cole slaw and hush puppies (3) $16.56 Wednesday ordered the same meal (2) hush puppies for $19.57!!!! And I even put 2.00 cash in the tip jar! Sorry you lost a customer with your price gouging.

I'm from Alabama and this place is a classic fish fry. This place tastes like a Saturday fish fry at my Auntie's. If you want a taste of the south I absolutely recommend this place, no restaurant I've had in the last two years has made me so nostalgic for the south. Perfectly fried and seasoned crispy catfish. This is food for the soul. If you can't travel to the south to get some tried and true soul food, this place is is gonna give it to you, and if you're missing it, then welcome home. Favorite side is the okra but the hushpuppies, French fries, and potato salad are all BANGING! Run don't walk!PS: they don't skimp with the portions.

Fish Fusion food is excellent. And the tarter sauce is out of this world. Their food will have you wanting more.
