I had high hopes for this place. The service was so so. I think of we spoke Spanish, things would have gone better... Let's start with with the good first. The shredded and grilled Chicken was very good. That ships were fresh, and I believe homemade which made him very good. In addition, the bathroom was very clean. Now the not so good. As I mentioned earlier, that service was so so. The main reason for the three stars though I is that none of the food had flavor whatsoever so much so that and that I added salt to everything, and I rarely ever add salt to anything.

I have eaten here literally my entire life. It's so sad to finally have to say adios! I understand the pandemic hit people hard, there's been changes to their ingredients, all the original staff left, there's new cooks, flavor change, menu prices fluctuate and are not disclosed until time of payment. The newest staff member that served us was extremely unkempt, the apron was dirty, the clothing was dirty. We were served chips in a dish that had refried beans on the side and a piece of lemon, this clearly was a filthy dish and when I asked the server if these are washed in between use she said "why?". I showed her the obviously dirty dish she handed us and she said oh, it must've got mixed up in the piles I'll get you a new one. That really was the dealbreaker on this last trip, we've seen a decline in many things but to be given dirty dishes and changes and pricing and flavors it's just hard to continue to support them. They also are opening a new taco service within the restaurant that's already struggling and we were given their filthy paper menus at seating. I suspect there has been a change in ownership but the staff declined saying it absolutely is all the same. It is a hard location in a hard neighborhood and I definitely wish them success.

We came here on a recommendation that they made good frozen drinks, as a little early birthday celebration. Walking in the door we were greeted and seated right away by the super friendly staff. The frozen margaritas did not disappoint!! Very good, and not too sweet. Between all of us we had the veggie fajitas, super nachos, chimichanga, and a tamale. Everything was hot and fresh, good quality, quantity and taste. To top the night off, we told our waiter we were celebrating a birthday. They bright over a sombrero and a birthday shot, and sang her happy birthday. Maybe we have no shame, but it was so much fun! We really enjoyed our dinner and everything else. We'll definitely be back.

My prior rating was for El Indio on Halsey. This one is for 194th &Stark.This latest takeout from El Indios Gresham was so much better! Ablondigis Soup was tasty and wonderful. I'm glad we tried their Guacamole, it might be the best we ever tried. The just noticeable hint of spice was impressive. Chile Relleno & Cheese Enchilada Combination was very good as were the rice & beans. The Salsa was tasty! I'm glad I ordered from this location.

These people served me a drink with a dead fly in it... and when i asked them to comp my meal ( just me and my sister)because now were both grossed out!! THEY COULD NOT PRODUCE THE MANAGER!!! We even waited for him. WHAT KIND OF MANAGER LEAVES IN THE MIDDLE OF DINNER RUSH @ 730PM? I EVENTUALLY I PAID AND LEFT GROSSED OUT AND PISSED. i really liked eating there, and would have enjoyed myself if it weren't for that expience. now i dont know if ill ever go back.

We had lunch here on a Saturday. This is a warm, congenial, homey restaurant that smells good as soon as you walk in. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. I ordered the Deluxe Tostada, vegetarian (beans and cheese on crisp lettuce), my partner got an enchilada plate, chicken, beans, and rice. Nice presentation and everything fresh and delicious. Priced reasonably. I would definitely return!
