El Chisme Sabroso

Cute little neighborhood food truck with a permanent space, located on Thurman near 26th in Slabtown (Across the street from the Thurman market). Simple little menu, but the portions are good. One thing I hate about food trucks these days is that the portions are small but the prices are restaurant prices. So I like that I get a lot for my money. I ordered the asada burrito ($10) and it was big enough to have for two meals. But good! Very friendly and courteous. If you're in the Slabtown hood, give it a try. Tell them "that guy" referred you. ;)

What stands out is the cleanliness of the cart, attractive marketing, and fair prices.The breakfast burrito was decent, but it included boiled cubed potatoes (I swapped for the beans which shouldn't be included in the first place.) Hashbrowns, tots, or even mashed make for a much better breakfast burrito.The habanero hot sauce was hotter than I expected.The counter person was very nice and order execution was very quick.

You would hardly know this place would be so good because it's so small but it truly has some great Mexican food! We got the wet burrito and the chilaquiles and both were so yummy. The service was also really quick with food coming out in less than 10 minutes after ordering! Only downsides are there is a $0.50 fee if you pay with credit/debit and there's no seating but the food's worth it! They also have homemade dog treats for fur babies!

I'm so happy I stopped by his place while waiting for the veterinary to finish with my dog.I had...*Tamale -- Out of this world! Truly the best I have ever had.*Wet burrito -- Fantastic!*Pico de gallo, salsa verde and salsa roja, all excellent. * Other notes -- The staff are kind, friendly, patient, and helpful. The place is meticulously clean.

OMG Yum I've got nothing but amazing things to say about this new food truck. The prices are very fair, the menu has quite a few options and the service is outstanding Check it out 100%

I was just hungry & wanted food from a neighborhood small business is all. Veganism is super easy, everyone just makes it rly hard lol.

Eating their wet burrito with guacamole right now. Delicious! The pork is exceptional, gauc, fresh. Highly recommend.

I came here for the first time, to get some chilaquiles. First off I was amazed by the good price, size and the weight of my serving. The chips were cooked to a perfect not too hard, not too soft texture. The sauce had an excellent tang and a very nice kick, heat wise. The meat (3$ extra) was plentiful and delicious, and there were plenty of beans too. Im a big fan now. Cant wait to go back. There is no seating, so we sat on the window ledge of the laundromat, which worked fine. The cashier said they plan to get some tables and chairs on the sidewalk. That would be wonderful, as its a pleasant shady street with little traffic.

I love this place to much! The food is sooo good, my favorite so far is the tamale. I'll be back soon for sure!!!

This is hands down one of the best mexican food trucks I have tried out here in Portland. It's authentic, service is wonderful, and it tastes great every single time. This is literally my go to spot for tacos, chilaquiles, morisqueta and milanesa. They just added asada fries and it's *chef kiss* amazing. A true hidden gem in the NW Portland area.
