Hidden gym in Portland. The pod is a bit hard to find and easy to miss unless you live in the area. There's no parking so prepare yourself for a bit of walking. Lamb gyro over rice: 5/5, one of the best lamb I've ever had. It isn't stinky or moist, the flavor is in every bite and delicious. I only wished there were more lamb in our rice plate.Service was really fast, we got our food within 3 minutes and it's located in one of the photo friendly pods, lots and lots of seating as well.

If you like lamb, get the lamb gyro!!! We ordered pickup through ubereats and it was ready within 10 minutes! We ordered a lamb gyro and a ta'amiya sandwich (falafel)The lamb gyro was bursting with fillings- juicy lamb, veggies, pickles, sauce. The pita was pillowy and springy- if I had the appetite I would've ordered some more just to eat on its own. The lamb gyro was so so good we wish we had gotten two! The ta'amiya sandwich came with 3 falafel which were crispy and crunchy on the outside! That was the best part for us as we found this sandwich didn't have as much flavor/texture as the lamb gyro did.The portions were very generous and we were extremely full afterwards and will be back for more!

Wait.. are you the same food cart that use to be located right behind Club Rouge in Downtown before the pandemic? They was serving up $5 lamb gyros? If so I've been looking for y'all.. by far my favorite lamb gyro.. I love how your lamb meat is chunky and pan fried haha.. can't wait to try it again.. I'm sure it's not $5 anymore but whatever's haha

Service has gotten very slow. They are understaffed. On a fairly quiet day, it can take minutes to get their attention to put in an order, and then 30 minutes to get a gyro. In that time I only saw 4 orders go out.

Really solid falafels. Note that it's a food pod versus store front. I got the falafel sandwich which is a pita filled with hummus, pickles, lettuce, onion, tomato, eggplant and tahini. Food came out in less than 10 min when I ordered. The falafel was crispy on the outside even after it took 20 min to get home. A little less green on the inside than I'm used to but that might be more of the "Egyptian falafel" style. The addition of the eggplant was a nice touch. Overall, very tasty. Especially for the price of $10 and I was stuffed by the end.

I yelped "falafel" for Portland and this was #1! It did not disappoint! The falafel was amazing. I got the platter and it came with so many goodies. Dolma were a nice addition. I added some pita on the side. The hot sauce was also delicious. I will be back for sure.

Yummy food and great friendly service ! The felafel is amazing. I don't eat meat so I look for Mediterranean food with great felafel. This is a new go to spot for me.

They obviously put a lot of time, love and experience into their food. Every element of the koftka platter was cohesive and fresh. I will be back to try other dishes! Thank you!

Love this food cart pod and surprisingly never tried egyptian bros! We had people visiting from out of town and they were really craving a gyro so you know I had to go to Yelp to see what other people were recommending. Egyptian bros kept popping up and it's great they had later hours so you didn't feel rush to get to the pod. Since it's part of this food cart pod parking around the area can be sparse but you can get lucky and get a free parking spot. It was a cooler day so it wasn't too packed so we were able to get in line with only one group ahead. For ~$13 you can get yourself a packed, hot, and saucy gyro. I also got a side of their fries and would recommend since they are piping hot and plenty to share with a group. As for the gyro, I loved the warm pita that held everything together well. When you order they ask for the spice level and I like a medium level but I feel if you enjoy spicy you can go even higher. The meat is flavorful and comes in nice chunks to absorb the other sauces and pickles on top. You can easily finish one on your own but it's also a nice option to share if you want to try other things in the pod. Staff if friendly and you won't miss them calling out your name. They do charge a fee for card purchases so I would recommend paying with cash to avoid the fee.
