Ding Tea PSU

The teas are interesting. I'd call them more authentic and less 'Americanized'.The one guy who was there the first time we went didn't really seem like he cared too much about customers. He didn't greet us as we went in and we had to prompt him to get up and come over to help us out. The second time there were two young ladies working and they were very nice and attentive.The ambiance is industrial. It doesn't have a very cozy feel. Not bad, just different.

Very good boba spot near PSU. I love the options of being able to control how sweet you can get your tea. I usually get 30% or 1/4 sweet. Pretty good prices and service was quick. Only street parking available.

They always get the drink just perfect. Whether I get a jasmine milk tea or a regular milk tea it is always perfect. The boba is soft and flavorful. It wasn't super hard after being refrigerated either when I finished my drink the next morning. This location is very central. Staff is friendly. The shop was empty when we walked in but they came to help up. It is spacious and quiet. There is cool machines to play with too.

Ordered my usual passion fruit green tea with boba. Boba was cooked well, but the tea tasted a bit off compared to other Ding Tea's I've had.Shoutout to the staff for taking my order with smiles with a few min before they closed. Street parking only.

Ding Tea is delicious and delightful.Don't get discouraged by the lack of parking. Drinks are decently priced for delectable boba and milk tea. I drank the green milk tea and Brown Sugar Milk tea and give both spots 8/10. Dazzling boba consistency and dangerously addicting tea.Dependable boba spot for your boba needs.

Delicious boba and very fast service.Winter melon is fire!Mango green tea is fire!Taro is INSANELY GOOD.I don't even like boba, but this place is FIRE.Food trucks are across the street. Grab some food there, then sit down here and grab boba. What a beautiful day.

Enjoyed their Taro Milk Tea with Golden Boba here recently. Friendly staffs and super fun, young spot to hangout or work.Their Taro Milk Tea was good and refreshing. I went with no sweetness and it's great! Their bobas were also nice and chewy. Medium size was good to satisfy my craving, they go pretty hard with the boba mount.You can also try their taiyakis which are made fresh to order. We loved that they're hot and crispy. The dough was slightly salty which complemented the sweet custard filling and ham & cheese pretty well. You can even get a combo of selected large drinks with taiyaki!

Visiting Portland and stumbled upon Ding Tea PDX whilst waiting for dinner at a nearby establishment. An international chain spanning from Taiwan to Australia, Ding Tea has won a superior taste award in 2018, as proudly displayed on their drink lids. Unfortunately, their drinks don't really deliver quality taste. We ordered the signature milk tea with boba and winter melon milk tea with grass jelly (both with no ice, 30% sugar) but they were both too sweet and lacked any tea flavor. The boba balls were slightly too hard, as if they were sitting out for a few hours (as boba quickly depreciates after being cooked).The service was quick and they were very friendly. The music playing was kpop which was quite loud. They have high tables and stools, which is ok to sit at for a bit but hurts after a while with no backing or padding. There is only street parking available, but we found some just one block away.

Update: the owner promptly reached out and offered an apology regarding my experience. In addition to offering a full refund, offered a coupon to come back and try another drink. Appreciate the great customer service and will likely be back to give it another shot.I wish I could give this a 0. The jasmine green milk tea was SO watery felt like I paid $6.25 to drink water with the boba balls. The staff was nice enough to make it twice but it was still the same watered down level LOL. Not sure if that's how they were taught to make it but definitely wrong. Wish I could've asked for a refund instead smh

I hate this location. every time i come to this location there's lazy workers that don't meet the customer service expectations. how are you gonna mess up my order when im the only one in the store charged me for extra boba but never put extra boba. also this location never seems to take cash and their system is sometimes slow so my card ended up getting charged twice. i love their drinks but damn, DO BETTER.
