We ordered takeout through DoorDash, and I was a little disappointed. The Vietnamese Special Fried Rice sounded so good! So many different flavors! But none of them really came through in the dish. It just tasted like rice with salt and broth. We also tried the Pad Thai with peanut sauce, which was just okay, I've had better from other places around town. So three stars because there was nothing really wrong with anything, it just wasn't as tasty as I'd hoped.

Excellent service! address on yelp is not exactly accurate but it is in the same plaza like actors the parking lot from Ummas Korean food restaurant.Comparable pricing and portion size could be a bit more ingredientsSalad roll with peanut sauce was good. No condiments on table so we asked for a side of chili oil to spice it up. very tasty and fresh.Orders their thai dishes Pad Kee Mao aka drunken noodles with level 3 spicy. taste and flavor is very authentic and can taste the "wok" fire. wish there were more ingredients/garnishment like basil leaves and bean sprouts and tomatoes like most other thai places. I do appreciate that every piece of noodle was covered with the sauce and flavor evenly. This is not a sweet and spicy dish, it's savory and spicy and it too sweet or salty. Orders with pork and it went very well but again wish the ingredients were more.Tried their panang curry, very flavorful and went well with rice but it was mostly curry sauce with veggies and some pork. Also ordered their avocado shake and Dalgona. I did have to ask for a remake and substituted my Dalgona for avocado shake with coconut jelly. That was perfect!Lots of seating inside but I think people mostly do take out orders. It was a bit of a drive for us but would try again if in neighborhood.

I was in dire need of comfort food after a day of studying and originally headed in the direction of Umma's, but divine intervention led me astray. Across the parking lot is Db's Kitchen -- a little unassuming as first, but as soon as you step in you're greeted so warmly!! They had flowers for sale in time for Valentine's Day, and I regret not grabbing a bouquet. The owner/hostess (? Not sure hehe sorry) is an incredibly lovely, friendly person.I got pho bò and jasmine tea. The tea was served so beautifully in a glass pot, I wasn't expecting it! Hoisin sauce and sriracha upon request. The meat was tender, the meatballs flavorful, and the broth comforting. There was a lot of meat, too! I'll be coming here quite often from now on! I also really liked the gentle v-pop in the background :)

For pure "hospitality" alone, I'm giving Db's Kitchen and Zumi [the owner] five-stars! This is a small mom'n'pop restaurant that serves up some savory tasting Vietnamese dishes as well as a few Thai items. It's not a huge restaurant, but it was chill and accommodating to say the least. I first did takeout on an icy and cold rainy November day, and still remember that first impression of this place. It was memorable to me, because I was picking up for takeout, only when I was leaving my car would not start. But more about that in a minute:I have since gone back to dine-in a few times, and I really enjoy their food even more when it comes out nice and hot! Here's a few consistent menu items that I've tried:- Egg Rolls w/ pork ($7.50) - A normal, crispy, tasty egg. roll appetizer. - Tom Kha ($8.50): This is something I really enjoy on a cold day too, and their version definitely hits the spot! But even on a hot day, it must be more aromatic and flavorful, I bet! I can smell it and taste it now! - Papaya Salad ($15): They've got a clean version that I like! In other words, I'm a wimp and I like my papaya salad mild, NOT hot-spicy. I prefer the OG pickled taste of it! It's just comforting and refreshing! ‐ Pho Dac Biet or spicy beef noodle soup ($16): Oh deal Lord! What a mean bowl of noodles 'n' spice, and everything nice! This noodle soup bowl is nose opening and sinus clearing, that's for sure! Loved it!- Pho Ga ($14.50): I enjoy the hot broth and the nice slices of chicken breast. I know chicken pho can be hard to bring out flavors, but their bowls are good and flavorful, as it should be. After you've taken a few sips of the bowl, add a little bit of that chili and hoisin. Unless you've done that already, then add more! No need for sriracha imo! Back to my car being stuck there. While I waited at a table, away from the cold, I had to call for a tow truck that was hours away from helping. While waiting for the truck to arrive, Zumi had shown care for my situation. She accommodated me with water and a snack sample of a bowl of hot soup. That was totally unexpected and very kind of her. Thank you Zumi for your warm hospitality! So, that's just a few things I've tried, but I'll be back again to show support! The tow truck never showed up, btw. And it was near closing time for the kitchen, so I called for an Uber. Picked up my car the next day, and I still ordered takeout again. I mean, it's because their dishes are savory good! It's simple Vietnamese/Thai food made right, and definitely worth a try.

Basil fried rice was delicious and one of the most flavorful I have had. Got it to go and my order was packed carefully and had no leaks. Would return to try other items here.

We ordered takeout when we were in the mood for Thai. The food was ready even a few minutes early and the portions were generous compared to other restaurants. It was $15 per dish and there were lots of noodles and a large serving of curry. We ordered medium for every dish and it wasn't very spicy so we will do hot next time. The pad Thai could have had more chicken, it was mostly noodles but there was a good amount of them. The hostess was very friendly both on the phone and in person. We will definitely be back!

Very allergy friendly but they need to update their hours as they're closed even in spite of Yelp and Google showing open.
