Don't be fooled by the location - this is not your average hospital food. I would bring a friend here for breakfast or lunch. I consistently have the most delicious food here. The salads in particular are amazing. They use really fresh ingredients and the portions are large. They have daily, weekly, and monthly rotational salads and they almost always have a unique twist to them. I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Everyone who works here is friendly and the service is quick. It is a little pricier than one might expect, but as I said, the portions are large and the quality is there. The breakfast food and soup/salad, sandwich/soup combos are a great deal.

Food is good. I had their daily burger, it could've used some seasoning, tasted like it didn't have any. Fries are 90% crunchy. Came here a couple of other times and tried other things that had amazing flavor. The staff is nice, clean space. Next time I'll try something different. This was my second time getting the burger and the first time it also didn't have flavor. The burger itself was $11. Side of fries $3.50 I believe. I should've gotten their smoked salmon panini.

Although it's almost impossible for the Daily Cafe to escape that "hospital cafeteria" vibe (*purely* due to its location in the OHSU CHH building), the food here will convince you otherwise. Even better, just about everything available to eat or drink here, other than a handful of exceptions (i.e. soda), is healthy and delicious. Yeah, that's right; I said, "healthy AND delicious". How do you like them apples?Awkward confession time: I don't like apples. They say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". Maybe that's why I spend so much time in the "Center for Health and Healing" building? (Real reason: my wife works for OHSU). Either way, I get to eat here on the regular!Line management could be a little better, as often people sort of meander and shuffle forward until they hit the registers, where things get a bit muddled as to who is trying to order from the grill, and who is just trying to check out. There are pre-made salads and sandwiches in the cold to-go case, as well as beverages and snacks to grab on the way, and hot or cold entrees (sandwiches, paninis, burritos, burgers, etc) can be ordered from the aforementioned grill. Standout selections include the lemon caper tuna salad, the reuben and tomato mozzarella panini. The Daily Cafe opens, and closes, relatively early, so don't expect to pop in for dinner. But if you're in the building during office hours and need a quick bite to eat, this place is convenient, clean, cozy, and has a variety of tasty meal options for people of all tastes, and with all manner of health restrictions: vegan, gluten-free, regular, unleaded, BLT and BBQ.

Located off the lobby in building 1, Center of Health & Healing, I stop by often after appointments. When I have surgery, I send friends down to get me real coffee and a turkey sandwich on wheat. Hits the spot. When you walk in, to the right, they have a grab and go case of sandwiches and salads. Or you can order fresh off the menu board. My usual is the tuna salad on toasted rye, its delicious! Made the way I prefer with white albacore finely flaked. Usually I eat half and save half for the next day as its hearty. Their baked goods are amazing! Get the ginger cookies and toffee cookies to take home. Friendly service, good quality food, convenient and reasonable prices. I'm a fan. .

Best coffee in the city ! Dense smokey delicious lattes are to be found in this hidde gem inside the CHH at the waterfront. And best pastries! ! Really it almost kills me I don't usually do wheat or sugar but this is my cheat spot. Do yourself a favor check out the cafe, it's on the lobby of CHH 1 (as it says right by the Tram) Charlotte does especially yummy drinks. !

My wife had a doctors appointment so it was convenient to stop in for something seen they had an arrayOf pastries and cookies I picked out a few and as I was getting ready to pay I noticed there were flies on the pastries And cookies I said to there Are flies on all your baked goods the lady proceeded to tell me oh there just fruit flies do you not want them anymore I said no she then said there's nothing we can do about it. the baked goods are in a glass display on top of the counter and it has no backing with doors or some sort of plastic to not allow flies or bugs to get in it's completely open and therefore bugs can get in with ease I told the lady at the desk this is disgusting and left
