Came in when they were next to Cascadia taphouse and we were able to order and get our food pretty quick in about 5 to 10 minutes. We ordered two lobster rolls, cold style and one warm to share and also got the lobster bisque tater tots.Service was good. Would recommend the cold lobsters as the mayonnaise gives the lobster a lot extra flavor. The lots of chunks were pretty big too, and it was fun to have the whole claw pieces. The warm lobster roll was just butter and the lobster and to be honest the lobster didn't have a whole Lotta flavor on its own so definitely needed something like the mayonnaise and the cold style so we added mayonnaise when we were at home.A little more and also some lobster chunks. It was all soup. Overall fun and worth a try.

Not worth all the hype. I was curious to try them at our art festival since the line wasn't too long, but the prices are pretty insane considering how small the portions are. By the looks of their fancy truck (which clearly only caters to tall people cause the window to order is ridiculously high, I'm 5'4") it feels like their high prices are to pay for all the tv screens, speakers, fancy bags, paper wrap and boxes. The marketing is overkill. Can I pay 2 bucks less for a brown paper bag and no tv screens? What pissed me off most was having to wait damn near 45 mins, watching people before and after me in line get their food. I asked multiple times and it was always "almost ready" even after I asked for a refund. I'm not one to be a Karen, but I feel like a total idiot waiting that long for food. At a food cart. Missing an entire band performance that I went there for. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is cause the food wasn't bad. The Connecticut roll (although puny) was tasty and had whole pieces of lobster on a "roll". (Was more like a mini hotdog bun, but at least didn't taste like cheap bread). My daughter had a kids grilled cheese with tots, which is hard to screw up. So 40 bucks later (for an adult meal and a kids meal with no drinks!!!) I was pissed at myself for waiting that long and paying that much for food that left me hungry less than an hour later. Lesson learned. Don't buy from overly fancy food trucks!

I was so excited to have this. I was very disappointed for the following reasons. 1-portion size was very small. The roll was small and amount of lobster was not worth the price. 2- they give you a ton of tots to cover up the price. 3- it was almost $60 for 2 of us and we left still hungry. We had roll and nacho tots with extra lobster. 4- I bit into shells at least two times. I really wanted to get a refund. I don't recommend this place breaks your bank for no food.

I've seen this place on Instagram and have always been curious about trying them, but haven't seen one of their trucks near me. While at Living Water Winery in Blairsville, GA with my family, I saw that they were the food truck and had to try them! We ordered a plain grilled cheese for my grandma (she doesn't eat much and doesn't like lobster) along with some tator tots which she enjoyed. I shared a lobster grilled cheese with my mom and we also shared an order of lobster tots. The lobster grilled cheese was tasty. It had a good amount of lobster. I would have liked maybe a bit more kick in some fashion, either with some spice or another kind of flavor pop, but it was still good. The lobster tots were yummy with a delicious sauce and also a generous amount of lobster. We all enjoyed them. Service was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable in my opinion for lobster products. I'd definitely hit this truck up again in the future if I encounter one again!

What an expensive and disappointing meal. We ordered 2 Connecticut roll combos. The meat looked fine, but there was ZERO seasoning. Salt? Nope. Lemon? Nope. Butter? A smidge. The insanely huge & wasteful portion of tots? No salt either.

I have been trying to consume the meal of Cousins Maine Lobster because we don't have lobster here. I have been fortunate in some ways to consume warm water lobster near the equator at an extremely economical price point, and it was tasty. There is a whole mystique about warm water lobster verses cold water lobster and their location-specific terroir. The lobster in my Connecticut roll was whole pieces, not shredded. That is outstanding! The lobster bisque is sweet and rich. Ordering and service was fast when I caught them at opening. Their truck is an amazing mobile restaurant machine. Staff is excellent.I have no idea what bread they like in Maine. I have no idea what they think a lobster bun should be. But for the Connecticut, I would take it home, install the lobster in a proper steam oven finished crunchy crust French-Italian bread to fit, and sprinkle it with my own supply of Japanese spiced vinegar I use on everything I would pay a dollar add-on for a locally baked steam-finished crunchy bun. That is the only reason why 4 rather than 5 stars. Cousins Maine Lobster is a great addition to the Portland metro. They are part of a national chain with a supply chain to Maine fishers we want to thrive. Maybe they should show those commercial fishing reality videos on their screen? They are mobile on their socials schedule. The price point is good for the ingredients. Try it, you may like it! It would make a lovely picnic.

My wife and I visited the truck when in Happy Valley. I ordered the Connecticut and my wife ordered the tacos. We split an order of tots. The Good - lobster was fresh tasting and the split roll was appropriate. Both the roll and tacos had good flavor. The Bad - portion size left a lot to be desired. I think my roll was about 5 bites, tops. Tacos probably weighed in at about 8 ozs total. Wishing the value was a little more at the other end of the scale. Our total for the roll, tacos, tots and a diet coke was $48. Also presented with the tip shaming screen which started at 18% - for what is essentially fast food. Verdict - won't be going back.
