Came here on a Tuesday afternoon before their closing for lunch break. It was quick service and quiet and friendly as well. It was perfect for us after hectic afternoon and just wanted to dine in peace and quietness with a newborn too Ordered their dolsot bibimbap so good. Stone pot mixed rice with veggies and beef. Sizzling hot! With fried egg on top, perfect! They didn't have seaweed to give to customer but still offered me the ones they would eat themselves so I could wrap it with the rice in it.Cannot go wrong with traditional sullungtang on a chilly day, so try mixed meats of tripe and tendon. Silky broth that warms your soulAnd spicy galbitang, sooo seasoned and an abundance of flavor! Soup was perfect amount of spicy and goes so well with rice.10/10 korean comfort food place and they've expanded their menu with even more soups!!! Just want to order everything there!

Stopped by on a Friday as a solo diner, there was about a 5 minute wait with 1 family of 4 in front of me. The space is small but well layed out so the servers can come through quickly with carts of food.I ordered the sundubu, which came quickly with banchan and a side of rice. The sundubu was so good, very flavorful with lots of tofu and octopus, an egg, and some clam and mussels in their shells. I was a little worried at first about how much octopus there was because it's not usually my favorite but the texture was really nice and I enjoyed it. The egg (served raw) cooked perfectly after a few minutes. They had the traditional banchan with kimchi, bean sprouts and pickled stuff, my favorites were the pickled garlic scales and a savory pickled green I couldn't figure out.I'll definitely be back for the sundubu and to try a few of the other soups on the menu that looked amazing!

Coredam Korean Restaurant has been an upcoming gem in Beaverton that's well worth the wait. My recent visit here had me trying several standout dishes, and I was not disappointed.First up, the Spicy Calamari was a highlight--tender squid cooked to perfection with a kick of heat that's just right. The Spicy raw Crab, featuring fresh raw crab, was also exceptional, brimming with flavor and generous portions of succulent crab meat. The side dishes was also a highlight!! There were variety of side dishes call banchan, they had raw shrimp, kimchi, fish cake, and even a couple of spicy crab.I also tried a couple of soups, the Galbi Tang (beef short rib soup) and Kimchi Soup were both hearty and delicious. The Galbi Tang had a rich, flavorful broth with perfectly big cooked beef ribs, while the Kimchi Soup was tangy and satisfying.Yes, we did wait a couple of hours, but we signed in on the waitlist ahead of time, so the time passed quickly. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and spacious, making the wait more comfortable.Overall, Coredam Korean Restaurant is a fantastic spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The food, service, and ambiance make it a place worth visiting, even if you need to plan a bit ahead.

Came here specifically for the raw marinated crab and it did not disappoint. We came on weekday right before closing during their morning hours, and there was no wait. Food and service were also very fast. It was a very hot day, and we had errands to run after. Our server was kind enough to give us a block of ice to keep our crab fresh while running errands afterwards.

It would've been 5 star but the service was so disappointing. Asked for refills of ban chan and never got any. They also messed up our food order and it took forever to get extra bowls. I know they're crowded and all and the food is wonderful (we love the clam noodles! It can feed two!) but the service needs improvement.

Except for their seasonal menus and appetizers, all main courses are served with 10 different banchans (side dishes). Banchans are mostly preserved ones (jangahchi), tasty and authentic. We ordered soondaeguk and yukgaejang, which were both delicious and felt authentically Korean. Yukgaejang tasted like ones you have in Bunsikjip in Korea. Soju can be also ordered. The service was nice. The ladies were kind and attentive. The overall ambiance felt more like a hole-in-the-wall compared to what I previously saw on Instagram. While I wouldn't say it was the best ambiance, it felt nostalgic, reminiscent of old K-town in LA.

After seeing this spot blow up on Tiktok, my boyfriend and I were impatiently waiting for the hype to die down before visiting. We came here at 4PM on a Thursday (it opens at 5PM) just in case of a line. In the end, we didn't have to wait at all, and everyone who was there when the doors opened were able to grab a seat. BUT! For those who arrived at 5:10 or even 5:05 ended up having to wait 1.5+ hours. I recommend saving your time and coming at ~4:45.The menu is pretty diverse, with many items you often don't see at Korean restaurants in Portland. We ended up getting the raw marinated crab, the galbitang, and the spicy chicken special. Everything took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to come out. The raw marinated crab had a delicious marinade but the crab quality was only okay. The galbitang was delicious and a huge portion. The spicy chicken was also a very big portion. Although it was delicious, I was a bit disappointed that there were no carrots in the dish even though it was listed on the menu. Overall, although the restaurant is delicious, I think it is a bit overhyped.
