The bartender is amazing! She makes you feel like you are walking into your neighborhood "Cheers" she even recognizes your voice and knows your name if you should call! It a very relaxing environment, super chill with different music playing all the time! When the restaurant attached is leased out it's always good food! I wish they would find a committed lessee because the bar deserves it! Its literally your neighborhood chill spot with good drinks, good music and poker machines.

Been coming here for at least 8years.Not just me but about 8 other family members. Cleary's is my neighborhood restaurant and bar, I've been there a few times with my husband on both sides. When some friends and I decided to get together for a meet up to buy and sell some of our crafts I reached out to Cathy at Cleary's who agree to have us use a few tables for our meet up, and who was very gracious and accommodating when I upon confirmation, I realized I got the date wrong. Our meet up was today and we had a few tables set up and waiting. Cathy herself helped all of us, a loud group of 10 as we each came in and got in our orders. The food was on time and delicious and Cathy even made a point to let us know we were welcome anytime. I will definitely be back wether it's by myself or in a group. Highly recommend this spot for food, service and atmosphere.

this is the best place and Danielle is the best bartender. dont listen to the reviews bashing her. She is the best bartender in the world and ill keep coming back.the food is epic, the drinks are awesome. no reason not to come to this place.

Ridiculously horrible night with loud patrons and no regulators, e.g. a bartender or manager or owner.Regulars brought in irregulars who ruined my night.No one stepped up to cut the shit out from under the loud and mysoginist drinkers.A horrible night at my usually favorite neighborhood bar.I have been permanently drink-limited here for far less abusive behavior than I witnessed tonight.

Just yesterday I took a young lady on a first date. The pictures online made it seem like this was a quaint little place to sit, and get to know someone. I sat down, and we really enjoyed the time together. The initial waitress was very sweet, and very attentive. It wasn't too busy, and she spent that time ensuring that everyone was attended to, and had everything they needed.The woman left, and proceeded to suggest that if we needed help we could ask the replacement waitress for assistance. About 15 minutes later there was not a single person in the diner in the restaurant except my date, and I. I asked the new waitress if I could get a refill on my coffee. Her response "it depends on how many you've had". There was no limit on refills to my knowledge. She wasn't preoccupied with any other customers. My response "maybe you didn't hear me, I said I'd like a refill on my coffee if I may". It was very obvious that without the expectation of a tip she wasn't interested in doing anything. It's sad to see people who are so focused on themselves that they portray passive aggressive behavior onto innocent people just because they are miserable. What's even funnier is the fact that as she reads this review she'll understand that someone realizes the depth of her emotional issues. If you're look forward to anything nice I'd suggest going somewhere else. Certain people here obviously aren't genuinely interested in appreciating the resource that keeps the doors open.

Dunno what happened, but this place has gone downhill. The last three or four times my family has gone, we left promising each other we'd never try it again. How do you screw up bacon and eggs? The last time, I ordered the once-amazing Chicken Fried Steak and actually left 2/3 of it on the plate. It was flavorless and greasy. Completely wrong on so many levels.Service is slow as molasses and the food is beyond bland. Cleary's, wha' happened?!

I often feel too young to eat here, but I like the food. Nice and simple with good prices.

Not friendly!Walked in on Sunday afternoon after perusing the car dealerships to get a beer and bite. Lounge was EMPTY. She had her attention on the TV as I walked in. Bartender, older dark hair, greeted me with "You got ID?" Granted I look young for my 47 YEARS but after laughing it off (I enjoy getting asked nicely for my ID these days), I said "Sure" she responded with "Well I'm gonna need to see it" . With her demeanor and approach, I looked at her for a beat and said "I'm gonna go somewhere else, thanks"No "hey how are you? What would you like? Mind showing me your ID"Went around the corner to Birrieria PDX. They couldn't have been nicer. No beer alas, but not miserable customer service at least. And a great burrito!

So hubby and I wanted a mini date night but we're on a budget and decided on this place because it's close. We were very surprised by the quality and size of the shrimp dinner that we ordered to share. It came with about 9 shrimp, fries salad and garlic toast and there was plenty not only for us but we had some to take home too. So two drinks and dinner later we were out only $17 for date night because we allow ourselves $5 each for video poker and I made enough to cover tip and one drink. Not only that but our wait person was Vicki and she really delivered on personality and serviceThis will be a go to place going forward.
