You've got to check out this amazing little spot that just opened! It's a spin-off of Andina so you know it's good. Think of it as a more casual and take-out focused place where you either pickup food to go or enjoy it on the little patio outside.Chicha embraces the traditional street foods of Peru so the menu is super interesting. We got a few Carne Empanadas (they're the same ones Andina has and they're outstanding), the Chaufa Bowl (Peruvian-style fried rice, chicken, Portuguese sausage, red bell pepper, egg, scallions) and the Ensalada Andana (a fresh to death gathering of greens, asparagus, broccoli rabe, rocoto yuzu vinaigrette, carrots, radishes, and queso fresco). They're only open Wed - Sun afternoons and it's all outdoor seating - so get there early to grab a spot!

Chicha is Andina's new to-go and patio program with delicious Peruvian street cuisine and extraordinary cocktails in the Pearl District. Sacsayhuamán (locals call it a sexy-woman) is our favorite cocktail. House-infused habanero vodka, passionfruit and cane sugar. Spicy refreshing! We love sipping this cocktail sitting on Andina's newly constructed outdoor veranda for happy hour.Chicha got the outdoor vibe that other eateries on 13th Avenue are putting up. 13th Avenue rocks with old historic buildings is now closed to vehicle traffic. It is a street for food, drink, shopping, fun and partying. Get on down and check it out. Pearl District is back baby! Yahooooo!Salchipapa some yum yum!House-made papas fritas, Portuguese sausage, mayonnaise & mustard aioli, rocoto sauce, huancaína sauce, chimichurri!Papa a la Huancaína more yum yum!Stone Boat Farm potatoes, Huancaína sauce, egg, salsa criolla, botija olive escabeche (VEG)!It is a busy place! Walk up reservations only. Get on the list. Walk up and down 13th while you wait to be called for a table. Great service, food fit for a gaucho and location on the Pearl street prairie. Yahooooo!

Such a cool little place. I love being able to eat Peruvian street food in the US. My friend and I shared a bunch of dishes, and I must say the empanadas and humitas stole the show! The lomo saltado was one of the best ones I've ever had. The papa rellena was ok; I think the lamb meat made it too different from the one's we eat back home. The anticuchos were our least favorite. They were overcooked and bland; I would probably skip them next time. On the other hand, service was TOP notch! Thank you everyone for being so accommodating and playing El Grupo 5!

We were looking for Andina but they said they remained closed and chicha is the same place also serve Peruvian. So why not try it. Great flavor. Small size dishes. Great customer service. Lomo Saltado tender steak. The fries I would say are way too big in size. So all you could see was the big size fries And a few pieces of steak. Aji de Gallina was pretty good. I didn't care for walnuts on my dish but they were small pieces but it didn't add any more flavor. The ceviche was pretty good. Fish and shrimp were fresh. And the wet corn with cheese inside was pretty good and sweet corn. But the cheese was not belted so when you cut into this humita a entire slice of cheese came out also. But overall pretty good flavor.

We meant to dine at Andina but since it was temporarily closed, Chica opened in its place (well, just the outdoor area only anyway). We ordered 3 dishes and a drink and everything was delicioso! My ceviche tasted fresh and well flavored. There were so many components in just 1 dish and they were all cooked/prepared perfectly. I'm salivating just thinking about their exquisite citrus sauce. Yummm! Mind you I just had my wisdom teeth removed less than a week ago and shouldn't have been eating this dish but I just couldn't resist. Pain be damned! (just kidding, don't do what I did!)Even a "simple" fried rice was flavorful. My husband really enjoyed the croquettes (Papa Rellena) which he said were the best he's ever had. I sadly had to take his words for it as I was avoiding overly crunchy food at that time due to said wisdom teeth extraction *raises fist*Not only were the food very enjoyable, their service was no less than superb as well! We were seated outdoors next to their grill where the smoke was flowing towards us freely. We asked if we could be moved elsewhere and were told that we'd have to wait another 30 minutes or so as they have very limited seating that were all outdoors, which we obliged. About 10 minutes in, we were approached by a staff stating that they were making an exception to seat us indoors, in Adina's space. He said they felt bad and didn't want us to wait any longer. And so we had the entire indoor space to ourselves! Amazing service + amazing food, that's a winner for me!

Love it! As a huge fan of Andina, I was so excited to have a more casual/takeout option. I really hope they keep it up post-COVID! If you're looking to dine there, expect a wait on the weekends, but fortunately there are plenty of nearby bars/restaurants you can walk to for a beverage while you wait for a table. Excited to go back and try more of the menu!

What an exceptional meal and experience! The flavors were rich, varied, and complex. We enjoyed the peruvian flavors all the way from the subtle tamale made with fresh corn, to the depth, seasonings,, and deliciousness of the lamb empanada. Also, the cocktail was top-notch and it was fun to relax and watch all the smiling faces and puppies go by while sipping it. Best of all: The service was truly fantastic. Perfect, really. We could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!

Great out door patio. Food is decent but a bit salty. Some dishes could be described better in the menu. I ordered a drink that was fairly spicy and a "bowl of food" Described as mushrooms and rice, but was mostly just Frenchfries.
