Chang's Mongolian Grill

This place is my guilty pleasure. I almost never endorse all you can eat food farms but I really love this place. It's clean enough and has a variety of choices. It's basic but honestly delish. I have to say the dish of ice cream is the cherry on top of my guilty indulgence. Yes I would endorse Changs and I go there at least every other month.

So happy to be back here again.I really missed this place during Covid. The food is sooo good. The ability to create your own combinations makes for infinite dishes. Love it here!

At Changs, the food is as good as the sauce you make so my food was goid. The service was a little sparse but friendly. The only con was the hot and sour soup was very lacking. No spice, no flavor and just not very good. This was the 1st time I didn't like the soup at a Changs.

For the price, very poor value! Limited selection of meats and veggies. Would have liked to add some heat that was not available. Not what it was in past visits and you are better off going to Panda Express!

I'm a big fan of Mongolian grills! This particular location is humbly furnished, run by friendly and accommodating people. The egg drop soup is a little bland for me, but everything else is on point. It's hard to fault any meal here unless you screwed up yourself, because they've never burned anything on the hot plate, which of happened at from the less reputable Mongolian grills that I have visited.The ingredients here are always fresh, well-stocked and they do a good job of cleaning the buffet area. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best Mongolian Grill on the east side of Portland.An interesting side note in the time of Covid-19: they have taken the extra step and will actually prep your bowl for you! You just tell him what ingredients you want, and they do all the work. It's a nice touch!

Private parking lot in a strip mall.This place is unlimited Mongolian BBQ. You go through a buffet line with three sections. The first section is frozen, thin protein like chicken, lamb, beef, fish, and tofu. The second section is veggies and noodles. The third and final section is all sauces. Once you fill a bowl or two with ingredients, you wait in line to have the cooks prepare your food. This takes about 5-10 minutes.They have different flavored lemonades. I got to try mango and strawberry.They have mushi pancakes. These are thin wraps that can be used to make dumplings. You have to ask the waitress for these.Staff is pleasant. May return if I am in the area.

The food was really tasty, the service was great and the waitress got to us almost immediately, and I loved the ambiance. Overall great place!

I used to love coming here. Probably never coming back, the nostalgia alone can no longer excuse the lack of quality and care in their cooking. I get that it's busy, but undercooked food is just bad full stop. If it was just beef I would be cool, but since I got pork I wasn't taking chances. "Get back in line for a do over!" You say? Yea standing in a long line on a busy day again isn't my idea of a good time.Going to miss the "Chang's surprise" when you get an ingredient you didn't put in the bowl but some how ends up on your plate.

Our evening was marred by the discovery of an eight-inch piece of fried Cling wrap served up with the food. They did comp us the one dinner.

Changs has absolutely the best selection across the board! I wish we still had a Changs up in Washington. Food and Folks here are Great
