Cathedral Coffee

Cathedral is a delightful coffee shop roasting their own beans, serving delicious food, and crafting quality drinks. It's definitely a locals spot which was nice, because there was open seating during the week to relax, escape the rain, and enjoy a cup of coffee. I ordered the cortado while my husband had an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. They had a steady stream of customers to keep them busy and I can see why. The drinks were very nicely made, had a smooth taste, not bitter going down, and not overly sweet on the latte.

Been here several times and it's always good. Excellent selection of fancy snacks. I got the granola last time and was surprised as how delicious it was. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great spot, great coffee! They've got plenty of seating, and the coffee shop has a great atmosphere. The baristas who work here are also friendly. The only issue is finding parking, but aside from that, super nice & easy spot to grab a coffee and get some work done or meet with friends!

I was visiting Portland and decided to try Cathedral Coffee as it was in the area of the disc golf course my boyfriend was playing. It's located in a cute neighborhood and has ample parking. There is a cute patio area for when the weather is nice and plenty of seating inside. Upon entering, there was a line that was moving at a pretty steady pace, but while I was waiting for my drink it never seemed to end, so this is a pretty popular spot!I am extremely picky with Chai lattes as they are often either really watery and/or lacking in spice. After reading a lot of positive reviews for the Chai here, I decided to give it a try. The barista described it as a spicy, but still sweet Chai, which I feel was spot on. It has the creamy subtle sweetness that I look for in a good Chai latte, while still delivering on the warming spices.I didn't try any of the pastries, although they all looked delicious!This is a super cute coffee shop that is perfect for remote work or just a casual meetup. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try!

If I still lived in Portland, I would move to St. John's for this coffee shop! It's so special.The coffee is some of the best in Portland, and the staff here are so friendly and thoughtful!Miraculously, there is always seating available, and it's so cute and cozy! They have both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Plenty of outlets for working too.This place reminds me of what Portland felt like when I moved here 10 years ago, and it makes me so happy. :)

Yummy matcha oat milk latte. I wish they had more gluten-free options that were also free of dairy and nuts.

Came here the day after Christmas for brunch. First time here and I gotta say it's very nice! The service is friendly and fast. They make a great dirty chai latte! I also tried their Meat Fold Over and it was pretty good. I wish it had more ham and cheese. The bread they use is super good. The ambiance is very cozy.

Very tasty coffee near Portland university. Friendly staff and parking. Great for studying or project space. Enjoy.
