Cafe Delirium

I have mixed feelings about Cafe D. I occasionally visit, and there are many things to love. First, it has a great vibe. There are always plenty of people in there, and it has the aromas and atmosphere of a great coffee shop. The ambient noise levels are just right -- enough that you can have a conversation with someone with a medium level of privacy. The furniture is a mixed bag -- a bit worn, but there are plenty of tables. It's good for studying or working for an hour or two.The coffee is good. My go-to oat milk lattes always come out consistent. I've also found the staff to be friendly.The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is I am disappointed that they prominently feature the "Hoodview News" paper in the shop -- that is a terrible local publication which spews anti-LGBTQ+, anti-immigrant rhetoric. It frusterates me that Cafe D gives it a platform. It sends all the wrong signals about our community. They could easily replace that with something a bit more palatable to the entire community, such as the Gresham Outlook or Oregonian.With multiple coffee options (Jazzy, Legacy) nearby, I try to prioritize patronizing the places that don't have Hoodview prominently displayed. I do occasionally still go to Cafe D (it's near my office), so I'll try and update this review if they remove that.

Cute coffee shop on the corner downtown Gresham. Love the decor. As for the drinks... Americano was basic and the chai was not real chai in any stretch of the imagination. Still a cute place and would be fun to hangout with friends. They had a nice outside area too.

What a fun place! The coffee is good and the staff are friendly. The seating though is that perfect merge between living room and cafe. There are sofas and chairs, along side tables and chairs. Fun place to meet up with people.

We were basically in-and-out during our visit, grabbing a quick dirty Chai (two shots) to go, so we didn't really have a lot of time to absorb the atmosphere here at Cafe Delirium. What we did notice is that the interior was spacious, quiet, and decorated with bistro chic furniture, and a few odd antiques. Local crafts and jewelry are available from the counter.Service was efficient, but not particularly friendly or engaging. The chai itself was wonderful, though, with a rich, potent flavor that wasn't overpowered by the espresso shots. Baked goods, soups, sandwiches and salads are also available.If you're looking for a quiet place to study, meet up with friends, or seek refuge from the chaos of the outside world, embrace the Delirium!

The brewed coffee is delicious and the cafe has plenty of seating, but often gets overcrowded. It's about 50/50 chance you will get a friendly counter attendant. They offer a punch card for frequent customers. Overall, it's a gamble going into this cafe, but worth a visit if you are downtown Gresham.

I've heard many good things about this cafe and was in the neighborhood today with nothing to do so I dropped in for a coffee. The barista was very nice. As a first timer she asked what my preferences were and gave excellent suggestions. For my husband I got the almond joy cappuccino and for my self a Carmel macchiato. Both were excellent. The ambiance was mellow. Exactly the vibe I would expect from a coffee shop. We will be back!

I've only been here once but it was a pleasant experience. I stopped by to work on a project for work and had a coffee and a sandwich, both of which were delightful! I plan on returning sometime soon! I'd love to try more of the drinks here!

good vibes good acoustics not too loud, even when crowded. chairs and seats are pretty well worn i guess in a good way, although the couch i sat in aggrevated my back. but otherwise all good!

I go here very often, it's easily accessible and very cozy! Very comfortable couches to relax on with some board games to entertain. The food and coffee is good although a bit overpriced, and the service is always friendly! If you have a little more money to spend I certainly recommend

This was my first time coming to delirium and I was not disappointed!! It was such a good ambiance and space to enjoy a cup of coffee. The staff was such a delight and so helpful! Plus the coffee was amazing- what more could you ask for?
