"Quick place to grab some sushi and other dishes. The host is friendly and will sit you down quick. You can choose items from the conveyor belt or order some special items. I ordered the chicken hibachi and my friends picked some items out from the belt."

"OMG a Japanese restaurant that isn't a ramen or sushi restaurant! (They have some sushi but I wouldn't call them a sushi spot). After a brief look at the menu we decided kitchen over sushi was the way to go. The style here seems to be kind of home-style cooking, Japanese comfort food focusing on udon & steamed donburis. We tried the Kama-Age udon special w/ Hokkai miso broth which was like a hearty seafood broth. The noodles and toppings are served on the side so you can garnish as you go. We got the Kama-tama egg option (soy soft-boiled egg) as well which made it even more savory. We also got the Kama-meshi specialty rice w/ seafood but be warned this one does take longer to prepare. The dessert was fun too, it was those puffy fish-shaped bread stuffed w/ red bean paste & served w/ green tea ice cream. We really enjoyed both, there wasn't anything that new or wild flavor wise, just mild and comforting and tasty. The inside is pretty cool, kind of modern clean old-style wood decor."
"For an Asian food buffet they really do well. Lots of sushi, crab legs, stir fry's, Phô, fresh fruits and salads, steamed dumplings, you name it they probably have it. I just WISH it was more HOT. The servers are friendly enough, and I love the ample amount of seating, and the decor."
"Back again after not eating here for awhile. As always beautiful food, beautifully presented. Room is comfy, service is great and the food comes up fast. I love sushi and this place does a great job - could actually eat here at least once a week. Not going to wait so long before our next visit."
"Honestly, a mixed bag.On our way back to Portland, we stopped in for a conveyor belt sushi dinner after a day in Oregon City. The host was friendly and we were seated right away. We were sitting on the far side of the conveyor ramp in a booth and the area of the space to our right, including the bathroom, was pretty grimy and could use a deep cleaning. There was a soda and tea station near us that had dirty cloth towels strewn around and a couple of half-filled cups that looked like they had been sitting out for awhile.Surprisingly, we stayed. The sushi station itself looked clean enough and my companions were not as thrown as I was by the mess around us.I selected carefully, cooked items or anything less likely to cause food poisoning. I ended up with some solid edamame, a very good avocado roll, and a deep-fried salmon jaw which was excellent."
"Holy !! Who would have thought such an amazing sushi/Thai joint would be found in mollala of all places. The food around mollala/Canby/Oregon city is pretty mediocre at best to down right terrible. We moved into area last year (2021) and this place was always closed due to cOvid or holiday break. They just weren't open and we gave up and forgot about it. The kids were with GMA so we had a date night and wife wanted sushi. I didn't want to drive into Portland for good sushi and then we remember this place. The place didn't disappoint. The food was so f'n tasty and the sushi was fire! The spicy tuna, made with I think kimchi hot sauce, was probably the best spicy tuna I've ever had. I've been chasing a great spicy tuna roll since a place I visited in virgina 10 years ago. I've lived all over the country including San Diego. Thai orchard in Vancouver has a good one, but this place serves the best I've had in a decade. If this place could bring a in a coco roll (Coconut shrimp tempura, salmon, cream cheese, avocado, shredded coconut, pineapple sauce from Mio Sushi). Holy shit I wouldn't go anywhere else."
"This is a fast food sushi/hibachi style place. You order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table. The sushi was not the best or the worst we've had. It hit the spot on a late night that we were craving sushi. This place seems pretty busy with phone orders. We ordered a variety of rolls to try them out so we know what to order if we are in the area on the later side of the evening again. The employees were nice and helpful giving recommendations. They have specials available."
"Syun is an absolute classic in the downtown Hillsboro area. I hadn't visited since 2020, but I've had the pleasure to dine again recently and it's everything I remembered! Such a fun environment and fresh food"
"I just had to try a sushi burrito!Decided on the Spidey Sense, and it had a soft shelled crab that was to die for. Well made, but I don't think I really needed anything other than the crab. Still delicious though. Spam Musubi was a pleasant surprise. The spam is simply fried and super crispy, just the right contrast of texture and taste. A fun cart for street food. Liked the burrito idea but would rather have just the filling."

While I was in Portland, I was looking for a quick bite before heading home to my brother's. My palate was looking for sushi and one of my favourite place to go was in Cancouver WA and I definitely didn't want to drive all the way up there. So I searched fir the nearest sushi place and honestly it was overwhelming since I was in downtown PDX and the list was too long to look. I decided to check the first three and decided on the closest one, you guessed right!I enjoyed my time and loved the hefty serving. It satisfied my sushi craving for sure. I shall visit again next time I fly into Portland.

I stopped into Wa Kitchen Kuu briefly for a small bite (tofu and poké salad). Their menu is actually quite extensive, from noodles to rice to sushi to curry to tempura, not to mention sake and cocktails. So I did not get the full picture of what they offer and would be happy to come back to try more. But I enjoyed the little bit that I saw and tasted! They're located off MLK Jr Blvd so parking may be tricky, but they are a good option post-event at the Convention Center. The decor is traditional Japanese. They have counter seats, high tops, and low tops. Service was polite.

They don't have a lot of varieties of food like Mizumi does. Some of the dishes are really good and some are so so. They do have lots of soup choices. They got some Chinese herbal soup, hot and sour, egg flower and seafood soup (it's really good). They also have 2 Chinese dessert soup (taro with tapioca and white fungus with goji berries). Food wise, my favorite is the frog legs( it's slightly spicy), chicken wings and bacon linguini. The linguini is surprisingly good and even better than some pasta restaurants. They also have about 6 dim sum there but most of them are some kind of buns. There's a noodle station that they can make a bowl of soup noodles for you. Sushi on the other hand they have lots of choices. But I'm so full I couldn't eat any. They also got sashimi. But they cut them so thin and small that affected the texture a bit. Definitely will go back for the linguini.

Not bad food but not my fav sushi spot. When I eat sushi I like trying fresh tasting, creative rolls or some specialty nigiri. This didn't seem like that kind of sushi place after looking at their roll and fish selection so we decided to just share a katsu Bento Box and the Monk Fish Liver appetizer. I like that they have pork katsu here usually most places just have chicken. While the food was pretty good, it wasn't anything too memorable for me. However, I do like the atmosphere. The space is pretty small and cozy, and if you're just lookin for a good place to just enjoy some beer/sake with some basic rolls or Japanese kitchen food this spot will still do fine.

The small town of Molalla lacks an abundance of places to eat, unless you want a burger or some bar food (both of which are pretty good in this town) but finding good and tasty Thai food was a welcome surprise! My favorite thing on any Asian menu is salad rolls (fresh rolls, unfried-spring rolls, summer rolls, etc.) and Thai Yo Sushi makes the best for miles around. I've been here a number of times and I can tell you that the stir fries, the sushi, the curries, all washed down with a Thai iced coffee or tea, are delicious in their own right. The service is friendly with a smile, the food arrives quickly, the place is clean and quiet, and the menu comprehensive enough that there's always something for everyone, even those people who say they don't like Thai food. I'm lucky enough to live near enough that I can visit them regularly and get my salad roll fix but even if I had to drive a ways to get their food, I'd do it! Maybe next time, if I can get away from my "regular" order, I'll try a bowl of pho, with shrimp, of course.

"Affordable sushi/izakaya spot with very fresh seafood and good portion. The ambience is cozy and romantic, perfect for a date night. We shared a bunch of rolls and some nigiris. Availability for the different seafood may varies from day to day. We loved the Albacore Roll which was sooo tender and delicious. The Spicy Scallops and Unagi, Avocado, Cucumber Roll were also 10/10. The B-Side didn't quite wow us, too strong of yuzu flavor and the tuna and scallop didn't go too well together. For nigiris, we got the Tamago (not housemade tamago so I'd skip this) and Amaebi which was decent.Service was great. We're sat on the mezzanine and it felt like private dining!"
"Surprisingly tasty sushi at a fair price.During our last visit our group had the hamachi roll, the eel and avocado roll, the crunchy roll, the rainbow roll, and Sea & River's combo special the Van Lunch (spicy tuna roll, California roll, and spicy salmon roll). The crunchy roll was a big hit, and we all wished we had ordered another eel and avocado roll. Friendly service. Delicious food, carefully made and presented.Sea & River Sushi & Burmese Grill is located at the Rocket Empire Machine on NE Glisan, one of five restaurants in the Montavilla food hall. Outdoor seating."
"I have never been to a restaurant where I have wanted to order everything again. Here's our list: Hamachi crispy rice, Kobe beef negimaki, spicy garlic edamame, gyoza, chicken karaage, albacore & crispy onion, red eye and ninja rollEvery single thing was the best of that thing I have ever eaten. I could eat the hamachi crispy rice every day. The albacore & crispy onion was beyond. I don't think anything could go wrong on this menu."
"The pad thai was delicious and a large serving size. The crab rangoons were different than I've had. I wouldn't say they were the greatest but they were okay. The packaging was super cute and I loved the recyclable bag it all comes in.I had my food delivered"
"This sushi spot is a real hidden gem! The quality of the sushi is amazing, with fresh, pieces that are simply so good. One of the highlights is that you can order by the piece, allowing you to try a variety of flavors without overcommitting. The handrolls are also great. While the calamari appetizer is on the smaller side, it's absolutely to die for it's crispy, tender, and flavorful. Overall, this place offers exceptional sushi that's well worth a visit."
"We were back again for a great dinner. One thing we discovered is that if some people in your group have all you can eat you all at the table will be charged for all you can eat. My wife could never eat 23 dollars worth of sushi so she only wanted a plate or two. They said no. When we insisted the option was for my wife to sit at her own table."
"I was walking along Mississippi St to check out the shops and happened across this restaurant. I ordered a lunch box bento with chicken and a 4pc spicy tuna roll and one of their specialty rolls, Spicy Grilled Eel roll. I sat at the bar so I got to see the roll I ordered made by the sushi chef which was cool. I love unagi and it was a little more subtle spiciness which is fine by me. The unagi was fresh and tasty. The grilled chicken in the lunch box was flavorful and tasted great. Normally I'm underwhelmed by any grilled chicken at other sushi places I've been too. Overall I felt satisfied with the price I paid."
"After a third visit, I can confirm that their customer service is excellent. The staff members are attentive and timely with consistently checking in on us including before and after the arrival of the food. The shiitake mushroom ($5) was seasoned and grilled with a delicious sauce. Lots of umami flavor that I really enjoyed. Very sweet.Futomaki ($12) contains cucumber, avocado, pickled daikon, burdock, roasted bell pepper, and radish sprouts! The nori on top of the roll gives each bite a crunch. Overall, the futomaki was crunchy due to the raw vegetables. The avocado roll is self-explanatory! Tastes like what it should sound like. Lemon drops were yummy too."
"We got here during happy hour - on accident - so we were super, pleasantly surprised! My friend was paying, but I think the deal was buy-one-roll-get-the-2nd-for-$1I don't know exactly what my friend got - because he ordered a lot. But I ordered mini rolls with jalapenos, spicy shrimp rolls & the crunchy shrimp roll. Yummy! The place is small but very clean. It smelled delicious upon entering and the food looked as good as it tasted. Our server was very nice and the food came out surprisingly fast. The restaurant was half full - and it was during a snow storm - so I think it's probably pretty popular when people can get out and about. I am very happy to discover we have a good sushi restaurant in my neighborhood!"
"Was in the area for work and Hamono came up high in my search for food sushi. I was not disappointed.I'd been seeking some great crispy rice for a moment and they definitely came thru. I devoured this roll. It was packed with delicious fresh ingredients. Also ordered for lunch was a salmon hand roll. OMG. Any lovers of fresh salmon would smash 2 of these in one 1 minute. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and planned on coming back but the stars did not align."
"My friend and I wanted to try sushi since it made sense that it would be fresher out here in Portland. It wasn't busy when we walked in. A few people dining in. Not a large place. A few tables here and there.I ordered Hawaii night, which was spicy tuna, cucumber, mango, topped with tuna, avocado ponzu sauce, scallions, and tobiko. My friend got salmon sashimi and the spicy tuna roll. Delicious! And fresh! We didn't wait long for the food. Service was good. It seemed to be only one server but she wasn't stressed!I'd come back if I'm ever back in town and staying in the area."
"Sushi Hurray is great for what it is--fast, INEXPENSIVE, eat at the counter sushi on a conveyor belt. While the quality level isn't as high as the higher end or traditional sushi restaurants, this convenient place is worth a visit if you want sushi to-go or just a quick bite by yourself. Take a look at their menu to get an idea of the options. Overall, great value sushi."
"The service is great and friendly. I live near here, so it was a convenient choice and I'm getting used to food carts in the area. I chose the poke bowl and WOW... it was delicious. I wasn't expecting it to be so yummy, filling, and a big portion of food. I was very pleased. Everything is made fresh, and as always, prepared on the spot. The sauce was creamy and tasty which gave that bite an extra boom with the wasabi. The portions of salmon, tuna, avo, etc were generous. I would definitely recommend ordering this item. Thankfully they have a parking lot next to the place."
"Came here for lunch this past weekend. They were having a lunch happy hour which was 20% off rolls. Their prices are pretty steep so it ended up being the cost of normal sushi. Ordered the 1012 and the salmon tataki rolls along with an order of toro nigiri. Both the rolls were OK, one of them had a mustard like sauce that wasn't described on the menu, it was all over the roll and I think it took away from the flavors. For the price I thought there would be a decent amount of fish on each roll but the piece barley covered the top, didn't fold over the sides and was very thin. The toro was good, $18 for 2 pieces of nigiri which was a lot but I get that it's a sought after fish.. the presentation was great but unfortunately the fish we were served was borderline frozen. I felt the ice crunching in my mouth, the flavor was good once it warmed up but it was a letdown that it was icy."
"We went during dumpling week and loved it. This is officially our favorite sushi place in Portland. The service is always great and they are really helpful with recommendations for ordering. It's easy to miss, upstairs through a small door with cool red walls!"
"This is Momo's new location and I like the atmosphere better than the original place. And luckily the food is just as good here. Our favorites are the wonton poke appetizers, spicy tuna rolls, and the Oregon roll. Tempura is pretty tasty too. Their fish has always been fresh and the value is good. They have a happy hour daily which saves you a few dollars. We keep going back!"
