Shannen R. "Stopped here for lunch while in town visiting a friend. It had a sports bar vibe. Full nice big bar. There were tables and booths for families. I had my baby with me so that's where we sat. The bartender/ server maybe it was the owner I'm not sure but he was efficient, friendly and didn't bother us too much yet didn't neglect us.We got the candy salmon, French fries and mac & cheese. All the food was great, came in big portions and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here when I'm back in town or if I lived around here."

Kim G. "Still want to love this place, it's still just ok. Food is mediocre. Cocktails are too sweet. Service is great and I like the location, but at the end of the day it's about the taste and quality of the food and drinks.Gave them another chance because a friend wanted to meet there and sit outside, enjoy the late summer weather. The steak tacos sounded good and they even look good when they arrived. The double corn tacos were large and had steak, lettuce, tomatoes and some kind of dressing. They are called street tacos but we're missing cilantro, onion and lime, key ingredients for a street taco. The steak was actually scraps, not even full chunks, and the taco needed way more. There was zero flavor. It was filling because if the double tortillas, but not in any way tasty or satisfying. My friend had the chicken curry and it was flavorful, but I wouldn't want a full bowl. I've had the burgers before, they arrived cold and were far from a juicy flavorful burger that you can get at so many places all around Portland. The only thing I've ever like are the chicken wings. The bbq sauce is a bit overpowering, but they are tasty and fill a craving. The ranch and blue cheese sauces that accompany the wings both need more flavor, especially the blue cheese which tasted exactly same as the ranch. There were no chunks of blue cheese anywhere. If they were a four star, I'd visit frequently as it's walking distance. But for 2-3 stars, I'll walk right by as I've done for 6 years now. Life is too short to eat mediocre food."

Chad H. "This was my first time visiting the G-Man. I hurried in and out as fast as I could. During my stay I noticed a big wheel in the establishment. I asked one of the bartenders what it was for and she informed me that the week of your birthday you get a free spin and can win prizes. There's also other opportunities to spin and win. I was in a hurry so I sat at the bar, because not only do you get the best service ever, food comes out faster as do the drinks. I had the absolute privilege of meeting the very brand new bartender and she was amazing..ly incredible. She was busting her butt and keep up like it was nothing. We had the chance to speak briefly before I had to run back to work. Go here, sit at the bar get to know her. She has one of those names that if i spelled it out for you I could do it incorrectly. I had a black and blue burger, medium rare with Cajun tots. The tots, they were nothing special. The burger, that was the star of the show. That, and the bartender whose name I shall not spell out for you. Butt, back to that burger. It was amazing! It was juicy, it was spot on temperature wise. The toppings were amazing. The bun was light and fluffy. At the end of it, the bartender tried upselling me on something sweet and delicious. She tried and tried again she did, and I held back. I'm proud of myself. I told her, maybe next time. This bartender was relentless and crafty. She said she's going to get me. Maybe she will. I say, challenge accepted. I let her know I will be back, and I will bring friends. There's two things you walk away from after you've been out to an establishment. The food is the first thing, but it's small in comparison. The second things is the person who waited on you and how they treated you. I was fortunate to find a diamond in the rough. I was also extremely fortunate to find s place near my work that has decent food. As a former Elite member of Yelp from 2012, where Ashton Kutcher's cousin's best friend's from high school's commented on one of my posts, I can say that this place is The Place, and the food is The Food. You cannot lose with this option in the area. Seriously people you must eat here."

Stephanie M. "I've only come here for boba because we don't have a lot of options for boba in Gresham. But i have been coming here for awhile... just got around to reviewing. The location is clean and they're open really late... when i came awhile ago it was Tuesdays buy 2 get 1... not sure if that's still the case because it's Saturday night. It's a small place but kept well. I really should try to eat here sometime because it's a great menu. There's also a full bar... I will be back for that. For now I'm going to rate on the boba drinks. I tend to go overboard with boba drinks. Its one of the only places i know that still has honeydew smoothies... so that's awesome but honestly they have a ton of flavors which is great. Quite a few options for jellies and boba too. I almost always get a mango green tea with mango jelly... today i also got a Thai tea with boba... pineapple smoothie with pineapple jellies... and guava with lychee jellies.. as well as a honeydew smoothie. No they were not all mine... but don't judge lolThey're currently $6. The menu is a bit deceiving because it appears that boba is included but it isn't is $.50 extra. The menu doesn't indicate that but ok. The gentleman that was here at the beginning was an owner and he was very knowledgeable about boba. The lady today was not but i worked with her. I'll be back but I'm so used to boba in San Diego and Hawaii up here just doesn't have it all quite yet. This is the place for options and flavors for sure!!!!"

Little did I know they actually do weekly trivia on Wednesdays so what a great reason to finally check them out. Trivia here is SO FUN and is run by a great host. Definitely come by on Wednesdays to enjoy a night of fun. It wasn't too busy during the night so they were able to come to our table to grab out order. They did mention when it's busier though you will need to order at the bar. I just have to say that they fry their items to perfection! The french fries, onion rings, and tots - YUM! The burgers here are solid entrees too and were quite large so I was able to share one with the portion size of the sides. Overall, awesome local dive bar. They have parking but it fills up quickly but luckily there's free parking around."

Their French fries are great, and so are their onion rings. The female owner of the bar is amazinggggg. I forgot her name but she is super cool. The bartender was friendly, and I got my sandwich pretty quickly. The sandwich was solid, but not outstanding. Nothing wrong with it, but I can't say I'll come back for it either. Jando S. "As one of the city's older bars, Kingston has been showcasing drinks and sports to the Portland area over the last 40 years. It's an easy place to grab a drink and a bite, watch a game, and see some of Portland's finest (#1). Most of my experiences have been both good and bad, so they're naturally somewhere in the middle for me. The place admittedly has more of a dive bar feel than a sports bar but the TVs would say otherwise. The old school vibe is undeniable and it's definitely charming in its own antiquated way. There's always a steady stream of locals / regulars here, which given the affordable prices and eager bartenders, is an easy appeal. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and the drink selection is pretty typical. On the food front, it's hardly memorable, but admirable given all they offer. The wings are incredibly popular and they offer a mishmosh of wings, sandwiches, and finger foods that fit the bar food spectrum. The breakfast selection, such as eggs benedicts + hashbrowns are way more impressive and would be my reason for any future visits.Where they've fallen out of favor with many folks has been their customer service. The last few times I've noticed they're somewhat understaffed, which means almost everything works on a delay. It's easier to ignore this if focused on the TV, but when things take awhile and there's attitude on top of it, then some improvements must be made.___________(#1) Interesting characters, every time."

We went there for a birthday party, and the cool bartender and the accommodating cook managed to handle and satisfy all 60 guests. They were both friendly and welcoming. As the name suggests, the theme of this bar is Western, and they have a lot of old western memorabilia including interesting ceiling fans that are driven by belts like old machineries from the late 1800s. The bar is located in the heart of Oregon City right on Main, so you can't miss it. There's plenty of street parking in that area."

Elisha J. "Ok so this is my new neighborhood place. First, the food is good, I picked the patty melt and fries, they even asked if I wanted to ranch, and remember to say yes to that, because the ranch was yummy. The fries are thick cut, fried crispy and really good. The patty melt was on marble rye as it should be, and the burger was definitely cooked with the onions because the yummy onion flavor was everywhere. Second, service was stellar, nice people who remembered their regulars, and checked up with me as I waited for my takeout order. Third, who has comfortable bar stools? The his place does! They are soft with backs, just perfect. My husband got the gyro and I was pretty jealous because it was also delicious. Lastly, price point, they are cheap, I could eat here cheaper than a fast food joint, and have a nice place to sit and better food. This will definitely be where we go for authentic gyros, and burgers. I can't wait to try more."
