"It's a good food cart to grab some quick food when in the area. They are usually the ones that have longer operating hours than the other carts in the area. We stopped by and shared a chorizo quesadilla while waiting for our other stuff. The flavor of the chorizo was on point, and the quesadilla did its job. The person working there was friendly and quick to prepare our food."
"I first assumed this was a Mexican taqueria. I ordered a strawberry cream cold drink, and it was amazing. Later I returned and tried some Honduran appetizers which were a lot of fun. I'm excited lto explore the menu a bit more in the future, as there are quite a few items I am not familiar with. It is a small place with a little market, and only one table. It would be great for takeout."

"Wow! So good, so affordable, so happy! Stopped in here to meet our CM Sarah today over coffee and got to try a couple of their pastries. The pastelito was flaky, light, sweet and slightly tart. Good ratio of cheese to guava to pastry as well. I've never had the real deal from Cuba or Miami, but this one was so yummy to me. The papa rellana was cooked perfectly and nicely flavored. The sauces were the perfect addition, and green was my fav. Also fun PSA: they give fresh juice samples at the counter too! Two options: passion fruit and soursop. Soo good. Overall very relaxing vibe inside with people working and meeting with others. Wish there was more seating but they've done well with the space they have. I can't wait to come back and try more things."
"En Vida quietly took over the former Acadia space and is delivering some of the best Latin American food in the neighborhood. The restaurant is spacious and is done up in a bright and cheerful murals and décor . There is both indoor and outdoor seating and has plenty of colors to lift up spirits even on a dark cloudy Portland day . We came for lunch on a Sunday and even though they were almost empty it took them a little time to seat us . We had walked in dreaming of Arepas but were told that they were out of it which was a bummer however by the end of our meal they brought some out and boy am I glad for that . The food took a long time to come out but the drinks kept us engaged . My husband is a big fan of chichamorada which is a purple corn drink . Its traditionally N/A but he asked for his to be made boozy and the bartender chose Pisco for him . I on the other hand stuck to a ginger soda which was such a great choice with the food we ordered .We got Tostones , Bandeja paisa and the Arepas . Food was fabulous and very generously portioned . The Bandeja Paisa is a Colombian dish from the Andean region of the country. It is a delicious recipe that contains beans, rice, plantain, chicharrón, avocado ,egg and beef/chicken .Service was friendly albeit slow . I would hundred percent recommend them if you are looking for some good colombian/Cuban food ."
"I love cubo de Cuba. Perfect time to go during happy hour with affordable cocktails and $5 side. I recently tried the vegan bowl and addicted to the yummy flavors mixed with the vegan "chorizo." Love the beans and rice. Lots of great sides like yucca and maduros that I enjoy. Also, great cocktails like the guava margaritas. The staff are always so kind and the sauces they make are delicious and vegan.I love how there's a patio and it's perfect during the winter and summer."
"We came here for a friends birthday, which is on Halloween night. The restaurant was recommended by friends - who live in Beaverton! - and come here often. The place was decorated with skulls but it didn't over power how pretty the place is. In fact, it made it extra rad! I brought in a bunch of pink decorations but the spookiness ended up being sassy-spooky. That's because the place has such a tropical vibe. Very Miami or Cuba. Very Pretty-in-Pinkish. I got a spooky drink, which was black and fruity. I'm told it was called the Pasion de Noche or Black Margarita - but I thought it was the Black Pearl or named after a woman, like a Siren or Vixen. Nevertheless, it was their Halloween special and so yummy, I had 2! The tacos were delicious and we got in before happy hour was over so we got them for a great price. Our server was great and let us have separate tabs. She was a pretty brunette who was working on Halloween night. We had the corner table to the far left, when you enter the restaurant. I can't find my receipt but I hope management can figure out who was helping our table. She deserves kudos for keeping our sh*tshow of a group happy & drinks flowing!"
"Ok this place is fire. For $11, you can get the most perfect lunch of chicken, rice, salad and fresh sauces. I was a vegetarian for 21 years so I get kinda weird out about eating meat sometimes, by which I mean if I get one bad bite, I'm off chicken for a month +. I was nervous that they serve thigh, as I've had bad experiences in the past, but man! This was hands down the best chicken thigh I've ever eaten. Yum! 10/10 recommend!"
"Since my first 5-star review, I've really enjoyed Elixir Mezcaleria and am so glad they are in Gresham. Unfortunately, after their recent menu update, I need to remove a star. They previously had a well-highlighted section of the menu with vegetarian options -- including a stuffed poblano with the most amazing potatoes. The new menu is missing options for vegetarians (though there are a few seafood/fish options such as fish or shrimp tacos, which are solid).I still would recommend this, but just can't go for that 5th star until they iterate on the menu to provide some vegetarian options again."
"Went here for my birthday for some dinner and drinks. It was such a fun restaurant with great views. It was on the pricier side for what you get so I wouldn't find myself going here regularly, but it was good. Note: if you book on the patio you CAN'T do the tableside offerings. I was happy they were able to switch me day of.The apps were probably my favorite. Small portions so if you are sharing with more than 4 people you'll need multiple orders. For birthday dessert they brought out a sundae of vanilla ice cream with syrup. I was hoping for something like cheesecake or cake to blow out but it was a nice treat."

Love trying new Mexican spots. Here, opt for the Quesatacos for $1 more rather than the tiny street tacos. The Al Pastor was dry. The standout was the ample portion fresh watermelon juice.Overall, it was middle of the road. The window guy was very friendly.

Such a good combination of flavors! I've been wanting to get a Honduran restaurant for so long now and finally got it! I was not disappointed. Their food and the ingredients the use in it are all fresh very well balanced. The combination of flavors such as salty, sweet, sour are very well balanced. The "Pollo con Tajadas" one of my favorite comes with delicious friend chicken cooked using a special blend of spices to give the chicken it's unique taste. It comes accompanied of sliced plantain fries and these topped with delicious cole slaw, tasty dressing and pickled veggies. I also order some "Baleadas" which are delicious made from scratch flour tortillas filled with tasty refried beans, Honduran cream and cheese. I'd say if you want some different experience when it comes to Latin cuisine you should definitely give this a try!

La Floridita's all about bringing Miami sunshine to the Pacific Northwest. They serve pastelitos, croquetas, cafecitos, and more. They used to be a stand at the farmers market, and they recently opened this brick and mortar in the heart of Beaverton. For a new business with such trendy decor, I thought the prices were very reasonable ($2.50-5.50 per item!!). It's fun to get a couple of these finger food snacks, and a coffee, and enjoy the bright colors in the store. Love their lil sample drinks. Staff was friendly and made a good coffee recommendation.

Enticed by all the good reviews for this place and a hankering for Latin American food, I needed to check them out. They're quiet on a Friday afternoon. Their space is very colorful and has a lot of fun energy. Their menu is pretty focused but the items all sound very tasty. We went with an Empanada of the day, The Cubano, and the Bandeja. Their focused menu certainly paid off when you see how fresh and well-executed their dishes were. The empanada of the day was a mushroom and cheese. It's made fresh so the cheese was nice and gooey. Their crust is different from what I'm used to. It seems to be a mix of maize and cornmeal rather than flour. I think it gave a nice crunchy crust and slightly chewy inside. A bit small for the price though. The Cubano was again made fresh. Bread was nice and crispy. Inside was filled with hearty meat and cheese. A solid sandwich, especially when paired with their pico de gallo. The start of the meal was easily the Bandeja. You can choose between chicken and flat iron steak for the Bandeja; we went with the steak and we weren't disappointed. It's cooked medium-rare, making the steak super tender. The outside crust was well-seasoned and flavorful. The Plato came with a lot of other tasty things like a perfect over-easy egg, rice and beans, avocado, and the best chicharron I've had. It's small but packed a punch. The outside was crispy all around while the fat layer was still melt-in-your-mouth soft. This dish had everything, perfect for sharing. The staff were attentive and friendly. Happy hour is from 3-5PM on weekdays. All in all, we had an amazing meal and will be spreading the word of their goodness for sure.

I got the Havana bowl. It was awesome. It's got pork, sauces, caramelized onion, black beans, avocado, two different types of plantains, mango, an orange peel, and I got mine with yellow rice. And I love all of the different flavors, textures and colors. What a great dish. The pork was great. It had a good amount of crispiness, juiciness and it didn't have any tough bits of fat or connective tissue that are hard to chew. Everything was either crispy or soft and melt-y. Perfect. One of the two types of plantains I've had before and is probably what you're used to, but the other type I've never had before. It is really crispy. I think they must batter and fry it or something. It was so good. I appreciated that it didn't come out oily. The bowl is $14.95 and had a good amount of food. I have a huge appetite and it did a solid job of filling me up. Pretty good value. If I were to nitpick maybe I'd ask for a little more food, but it was fine. The menu does say that plates come with more food for a few extra bucks, but they don't include the avocado and mango. The vibe there is pretty cool too. Lots of room to sit. Outdoor and indoor. Cuban vibe.Overall I was really happy and definitely plan on adding it to my rotation of places to eat at.

I've heard about this place from plenty of friends and it did not disappoint. I went with three friends to celebrate someone's birthday. We ordered one of everything on the menu and that was the perfect amount of food for us. My favorites were the pork quesadilla and the chicken flauta. I'll be returning!

Wowww yummy! I love soul food. This was something different. We ordered then picked up. Parking is street. It's a small place but packed with flavor. I asked for the top sauces. Everything was delicious. I just wish the chicken was a bigger portion. I'm not a huge rice person, so that's why. But loved the sides.

My friends and I went there to celebrate a birthday party. I had drove by this little place in downtown Gresham often and wanted to check it out, especially after seeing those menu. The birthday girl and I ordered the chefs special which was picanha with chimmichuri, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. This dish was delicious, rich, and filing. That cut of meat and how it was prepared was fantastic and melted in your mouth. One of my friends ordered the New York steak, no potatoes and extra veggies and the other two ordered the asada plate that came with beans, rice and tortillas. They all really liked their dishes. We also shared the ceviche with shrimp, mahi and octopus. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Some places over cook the octopus, making it tough but not this place, the octopus was so tender. The chips that came with it were thick, salty and crunchy, great for scooping up the ceviche. I'm glad this place opened up in Gresham, we need more nice restaurants out here. I look forward to going again to try more dishes and I will definitely be taking more friends and family here so they can try this place out.

"I came here one evening with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. We walked in at an earlier dinner spot and were fortunately able to grab a table. I recommend reservations if you're planning to grab dinner here around 6-7pm as it can get pretty busy. The inside can feel a bit packed but there's plenty of seating. The lighting is dim and decor is nice.My boyfriend and I ordered the calamari, elote, fried oysters, and adobo branzino and everything was delicious. The calamari was crispy and the sauce complimented it so well. The elote was a bit on the burnt side for my taste, but it was also still good. The fried oysters were also fried to perfection and amazing. And, the adobo branzino was so filling with a phenomenal blend of flavors. My boyfriend and I rarely go out to Mexican restaurants but I could see this becoming a favorite. I highly recommend this spot !!"
"Foster Rd. between SE 82nd and Powell is a food and drink mecca, the Mercado is the crown jewel. All the carts are A-listers, many Latin cuisines are represented. The indoor shops are worthy of your visit and provide a quieter space to enjoy your meal. There's many items at the grocery that are hard to find closer-in. One is delicious Coban pepper-based salsa. Parking is doable."
"A bit of a delayed review, but I was at the Jade District Night Market and saw that El Inka was there. I got their beef antichuchos which were delicious. It had a nice flavor, not too hard to chew or eat. It came with some boiled potato, sweet potato, lettuce and your choice of sauce. I chose the green one which is mild. Really great snack to have. Definitely will be visiting here for their food."
"Read about it in cheap eats, and though we spent a normal amount on dinner it wasn't cheap, but it was well worth the price. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of inexpensive items on the menu from tacos for $1 on up. We went for the pollo con tajadas and the carne asada. Both were delectable! The carne asada was tender and flavorful, the chicken was no doubt crisp but once sauced not quite as crisp. But the flavor was down right mouth watering, the sauce they put on it is from appearances a mayo based sauce with a hint of spice, The fried green bananas were good, the pickled veggies packed a nice bite, and the portions were large. There isn't a lot of seating available at this cart, but that really isn't a reason not to come. We certainly will come back."
"Tita's Kitchen Food Truck, nice clean and prompt service. Walking through Happy Valley's Station of Food Trucks, I decided to try something Peruvian. I ordered the Fried Plantains. Delicious! I had a choice of mild or a spicy Peruvian Sauce to dip my plantains in. I went with Mild. My husband and I both enjoyed them and the sauce was a nice touch all for $6 bucks. Give Tita's Kitchen a try."
"I came here for dinner on a Saturday night and there was no wait. This place has been on my to try list for the longest time and I'm glad I was finally able to make it. The menu is designed as tapas to share with the portions being good to share between two people so you can try many dishes. My favorites were the sandwich and empanadas. The sauces accompanying the empanadas were amazing and I can't wait to have these again. I would skip the tofu and potatoes dish next time as I thought it was a bit plain. The drink menu is also quite extensive and I very much enjoyed my mezcal cocktail while my partner enjoyed his. Service was very nice and the tables were spread out far enough that you couldn't really hear people's conversations so that was nice. I'll definitely be back again to try more dishes."
"You can't always judge a place by their location--82nd & flavel is an intersection most folks go through quickly. It's less than half a mile from home. & El Rinconcito is the 4th Mexican place to be there in the last 12 years. What s gem!. Pretty large menu. I decided to build my own combo plate--empanada, enchilada, panucho and salbute. And you can choose your meats, mostly. With a place named little pig you know to go with pork. Whicd A did with her poc chuc plate--very deliciously marinated & moist pork. Very friendly and patient waitress. Worth visiting the neighborhood. (checkered flag tavern catty-corner is a pleasant, low-ceilinged dive--no alcohol at rinconcito, yet."
"Took my boyfriend here on a birthday dinner. He said there's another steakhouse downstairs but wanted me to try the food in general. It's located inside a hotel with lots of parking spaces. Upon arrival, you are greeted. The place has a super cute ambience where it's perfect for celebrations or a date night. On to the food!Ceviche: was amazing packed with flavors. 5/5Brussels: amazing and loved the sauce! 5/5Argentine Asado: this was perfect portion to try the yummy meats and sauces. 5/5Carrot cake: wasn't too sweet 4/5Overall everything was great. I had a spicy margarita and it went perfect with all the meats. Left with leftovers and had a happy tummy."
