"just finished a foodie trip to Portland and had one of my best meals at the airport!! quite possibly the best hot dog I've ever eaten... "The Dude" perfectly executed. slit and grilled... cheese melted on with crunchy goodie bites on the side AND the bun was perfect... I don't even know WHAT that bread was. delicious. and more than decent fries to boot... next time I'm for sure trying the dirty fries. Nice work Dude"
"Good Lord this place is fantastic! I don't like waffles but let me tell you, this waffles are fucking great. So crunchy. I got the classic. My wife got the maddeline and the pave potato's. Everything was so damn good. Solid portions, nice people, great new food cart pod to this part of town. Can't wait to be back."

"Food cart in the asylum food cart. Excellent Bibimbop. Mine included japchae noodles like my mom does. The sauce is added so if you don't like spicy then tell them before. It was perfect for me once mixed. Also got dukbokki and it was children approved. Lots of fish cake. Not stingy with the good stuff. We loved it."
"Yes please! The sun, star and moon finally aligned for us t check out General Burnside's and what the heck were we waiting for?!! Is exactly what we asked ourselves after sinking or teeth into our first bite of his specialty fried chicken. What was that amazing blend of seasonings between the breading and the various dipping sauces? Each sauce when mixed with the chicken created an entirely different mouthful of amazing flavors with each bite. Sauces:The white dill sauce was really good and we're perfect with the chicken and a bite of the side pickle. The yellow sauce that at first glance looks like mustard had a curry tone to it that when mixed with the chicken was like a mini trip to the Taj. The red dipping sauce was yet another great compliment too the chicken. Chips:Next were the hand cut chips. These were delicious! I'm a sucker for potatoes but in the same breath am very picky and particular. These were fried but not drenched in oil; first plus. They were also just the right thickness so you weren't chewing for days to finish one chip. That also made them more on the crispy side which we both really like. The wife loved the ones that were thin and all crunch. They also weren't salty at all which we appreciate. After being served our dish I felt the pricing was spot on and really invited us to want to come back to try everything else (since we could definitely afford to). Last but not least the gent working the window, Tamore (spell chk), was a really nice and chill Kat. He played some great instrumental tunes that we really enjoyed while we ate and kicked it next to his pod. There is a cool little shaded area with a tree trunk, wall and chair for like 2-4 ppl. If you're in the area they're definitely worth a bite!"
"Their tacos are worth the wait. I usually get the GOAT taco when available and it is truly an amazing combo in a taco: pulled pork and brisket with flour and corn tortilla. Genius. Their migas taco is truly so good and you will automatically regret not ordering two of them after the first bite. Love bringing friends in town to show off this place."
"It was a great place to get a snack before heading out to the Pickles game down the street. The people working here are super friendly and kind. I ordered a couple of items to snack on and were impressed with how good it was. The Teque Tots and Tostones were great to share."
"A once thriving community collection of food trucks, so popular with the hospital & NE neighborhood, all tragically lost in a fire last year. As if the pandemic was not the hardest life challenge.Pepe Chile's is first to hopefully revive the food stand service corner amongst the burnt ruins that still remain surrounding the truck. We appreciate they survived and able to have a second go at it. 12 hour days everday ~ breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Monster portions. Actually have to ask Julio to not add as much inner ingredients as the jumbo burrito became to difficult to hold and chomp. Salsa is spicy to super spicy. Friendly neighborly service ~ always smiley & welcoming, happy to tweak to your liking, always thank yous.Outdoor picnic tables for the sunny days!"

Fresh ingredients, cooked to order, same prices as their food truck. Pleasant surprise to stumble upon this spot at PDX. I went the all-beef hot dog route because I was craving a traditional dog, but I've heard rave reviews about "The Dude" (bacon cheddar sausage). Also, the buns are better quality than your standard hot dog bun, plus it's grilled for that much appreciated crunch. Burgers look great and the guy staffing the cart told me he just finished pressing fresh patties (yum). Regardless, if you're at the airport and you're in the mood for a hot dog, sausage or burger, you'll be glad to discover Bro-Dogs.

Craving waffles? Honeycupse is a welcoming food cart that offers both sweet and savory options to satisfy your desires. We ordered the Classic...A waffle with a generous amount of buttermilk fried chicken and syrup. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender. Yum! We also tried the Avalon Clair which offered a delicious discovery in every nook and cranny...A waffle topped with lemon curd, and enchanting lavender cream cheese, and fluffy, airy whipped cream with poppyseeds. It delighted our sweet tooth. Eat outside, or take your waffles to go!

Korean food from a food cart.Bim Bim Bap is $15, other dishes are around $12.No ban chan (side dishes) and prices aren't the cheapest but, the food tastes good. The Soy fried chicken is a pretty good sized portion for the price. It's about 15 smaller nuggets. It's not as crunch as I expected but the flavor makes up for it.I don't usually like spicy dishes so I was interested in trying their non-spicy version of rice cakes (Tteok-bokki). I got the one with beef and mushrooms, it ran for $2 more because of the beef/shroom add-on. It was rather on the sweet side, beef tasted pretty much like bulgogi. Rice cakes were well cooked.Overall, pretty solid food.

Hard to know when he is open and says he closes at 6 but was open later when I went. I like the naan wrapper for the fried chicken "sandwich". It was soft and moist not dried out. The chicken comes in small pieces fried with some good flavor. I can't comment on all the toppings as I go pretty plain. The chicken wasn't dry but since they are small pieces they also aren't juicy. I'm still in the hunt for a thick juicy fried chicken sandwich. Ping me if you have recommendations. The homemade chips were good when they were crispy but get soggy quickly if you take them to go. There are picnic tables around to sit and eat.

I had wondered about this place for a while and was excited to try it. I got the migas and smoked turkey tacos (both sans cheese). The migas taco was really sumptuous and had solid flavors. The smoked turkey although good just threw my tastebuds off since it gave me lots of Big Mac vibes with the burger toppings and mustard/mayo sauce. I would say both needed salsas which I think is actually a good thing since they were seasoned appropriately for salsafying. They were kind of pricey but also quite large. I felt the breakfast tacos would probably be a better deal in the future.

The Latin sandwich I have never really been a fan of. I don't like tortas nor do I really care for proper Cuban sandwiches. There's an Arepa place in Olympia my in laws like but I'm not a huge fan. They are an awful mess to eat and I'm left saying "that would have been much better as just a sandwich." No offense but this was my last choice but both of the other places in the pod were closed. I got the shredded beef and cheese. The beef had good seasoning and was portioned so there is one bite you take and are like "wow that's a lot of meat!" I like that the meat is moist enough to be yummy but dry enough to not make a mess. Speaking of mess, I really liked the presentation. I think this is the proper way to arepa. It wasn't an awful mess. The outside was crispy tasty and interesting. I actually thought about it the next day. I don't recommend the passion fruit juice. While tasty it's not really worth the price.

"Haven't been here in 6 years since O was born. We got on in the beginning of a road trip and date I say it hit the flavour spot! It was better than we even remembered. He had to go classic with sausage and maple cream. We ordered ahead through Yelp to avoid standing in the rain. The waffle was soaked in the perfect amount of sweet maple cream with that toasty juicy sausage. Just perfection and perfect for eating while driving so we could hit the road on time!"
"Pretty solid tacos! Located at 'the garage' pod for now but moving soon!Super friendly staff. They recommended the tacos - 2 bucks for street tacos w the usual selection, 5 bucks for fish or shrimp which are a little bigger. Got the 10 dollar taco plate - 3 tacos and rice and beans. Plus a shrimp and fish. Wanted to get to 20 bucks so I could charge it. Food was great. Carnitas and bbq pork were on point. Shrimp was awesome. Fish meh Would come again"
"Pupusas! Tamales! Tacos! Sí! Sí! Sí! Just say Sí to Doña Lola's Authentic Pupusas, Tamales, and Tacos food stand at the always busy Portland Saturday Market. On beautiful days in the Spring and Summer, the line for Doña Lola's will be long ... and for good reason ... 3 good reasons: Pupusas, Tamales, y Tacos.Note: Cash only.Doña Lola's makes their own hand-made corn tortillas and it makes all the difference in the world. Also, get one of the fresh Pineapple Juices or a Horchata as a drink. If you can't choose what to order, I'd say share all three with a friend. Otherwise, I rank them in this order:Pupusas! Tamales! Tacos! In life, always say Yes to new adventures and always say Sí to Doña Lola's."
"Forgive me, but I must Yaba Yabaa ... Dooooo myself a favor by getting some tasty and surprisingly filling Lebanese-style Mediterranean favorites from the Yaba Yabaa food cart at Happy Valley Station. * Lamb Master Sandwich ($10) with extra MeatThis should be called the "Monster Sandwich" and come with a warning label because it is a gyro beast. (4 stars) * Hummus ($6) and Pita BreadSmooth and creamy with a trio of olives and not nearly enough pita slices packaged to go. More pita and less olives for me next time. (4 stars)As with most of the cart vendors at the HV Station, service at the counter is friendly and fast. Once you get your gyro, shawarma, falafel, kafta, or kebab, you can choose to sit indoors, outside, or head home like your sliding down the back of a dinosaur at 5:00 yelling Yaba Yabaa Doooooo!"

"Came here for lunch and got a carnitas burrito. It was very tasty. Cost was $9. I left satiated but could still eat more, so I suppose it could always have been a bit bigger. I thought the meat was very lean - not much in the way of grease or fat, which was nice. Staff were pleasant. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. I'd come back again."
"Holy mole!A gargantuan Mexican food truck now overlooks the picnic seating at Prost Marketplace. Though PM is one of the most diverse & tasty food truck collections, it was missing one of the most popular cuisines, Mexican! Well not any more and not just the run of the mill taco truck either. Greeted with a big smile, the service was friendly and courteous. When receiving your order, the food comes served on beautiful plates designed to match the culture. It is a nice touch to elevate the outdoor experience. Love & appreciate so much more than the to-go throw away containers. The plates are not cheap, so be gentle when you return them ;)Mexican menu ~ the missing element at PM. Season right, not overly salty or greasy like you typically get from trucks. So good with the German bier from Prost or local craft from Bloodbuzz. Tasty & great portions.Sit-down restaurant quality food served out of a truck."
"I stumbled across this food truck when having a friend in town. Parking is fairly easy to find and this truck is located with a pod of other trucks and a great indoor space. Lots of seating is available and it was covered and heated. It's a cute place to come and hang out with friends and eat! I ordered a green machine with steak and it was so delicious! Tasted fresh and I would recommend it! However, it took much longer than the other trucks to get the food out so I was the first to order but the last to receive. I also had to keep tabs since there was no buzzer given so I felt like a vulture waiting around. I've also come back a few times now and they seem to always be closed, such a bummer because it's so good!"
"Five of us paid a visit to this cart pod, and four members of the group decided to order a wide variety of things from the Taste of Afghan menu, so we shared a feast. We tried Varke (similar to samosas), Kofteh, Borani Banjan (eggplant in a peppery sauce), a beef wrap, multiple types of naan, dumplings covered in a tomato sauce with chickpeas, a dessert that looked like donut holes, covered in a sweet syrup, and I'm pretty sure I've left a few things out. Every food item was a treat. The only item that we didn't find delicious was a yogurt drink with mint and cucumber. All these items are things that we enjoy regularly, but something about the way they combined in this beverage turned out to be more bitter than the refreshing accompaniment to slightly spicy food that we were hoping for.You may guess that we ordered too much food to consume in one sitting, and you'd be right. Fortunately, everything reheated beautifully, and the bright, spicy sauce that was served on the side for multiple dishes went perfectly with the leftovers."
"I drove by this place a few weeks ago and there was a huge line. Naturally, I looked up the truck on Yelp, saw the reviews and bookmarked it for when the Mexican cravings hit. Today, with a deep hankering for a burrito from chipotle, I remembered that I had bookmarked this place a bit ago so I had to try it.Oh. My. God. This place is FIRE!!!! The best Mexican food truck in town, granted I haven't been to all but I've been to enough to recognize a hierarchy and this place deserves the top spot. I got the burrito with asada and chicken and the flavors were mind blowing. The meat tasted so fresh and seasoned to perfection. Perfect mix of ingredients as well. It was a messy burrito but the best usually are. The tortilla tasted really fresh too.My only qualm was that I wish the outdoor seating was a little better. It's not an inviting area and that may be by design but it would be nice to have a place to post up and dig into this monster of a burrito.Wish I had taken pics but trust me when I say, this place is the best you'll find in Portland!"
"We were spending time in NE and in search of a new place to eat. La Nayarita was a few blocks away so we went for it after seeing the positive reviews. The parking lot it's located at has ample parking and an outside table. The truck itself looks rough. At least one of the windows is covered with wood. The pictures and some of the menus are faded and difficult to read. Some might be detoured for coming here because of of the outside. DON'T BE. The woman at the counter was helpful and friendly. I placed my order and she told be how long I'd be waiting. We hen the food was ready she called me over and warned me that the red hot sauce was super spicy. We drove home and were eating 20 minutes later. We ordered the carnitas quesadilla and the asada burrito. 1st - the carnitas was spot on! Tender with crispy pieces and great flavor!! The quesadilla was big and fed both my daughters, with some leftovers. The asada burrito was big and also will be some leftovers. The asada meat was tender and had good flavor. The other occupants of the burrito- rice, beans, cheese and cilantro were great! And yes, the red hot sauce it hot! Don't be fooled by the outside, the food is great!"
"first time visit yesterday. We decided on a Smash Burger (2x patties with cheese, grilled onions) and it might be the best burger we have found in the area.Definitely a SMASH burger...crisp and caramelized. Cheese was not overbearing, had nice favor. Onions were well cooked and tasty. Nice buns as well.We will continue to visit Grilla, maybe even expand to the fries next time."
"I just had to try a sushi burrito!Decided on the Spidey Sense, and it had a soft shelled crab that was to die for. Well made, but I don't think I really needed anything other than the crab. Still delicious though. Spam Musubi was a pleasant surprise. The spam is simply fried and super crispy, just the right contrast of texture and taste. A fun cart for street food. Liked the burrito idea but would rather have just the filling."
"I love their crêpes!!! Once a week they come to Lloyd farmers market and I take my favorite hazelnut strawberry crêpe with strawberry lime house lemonade. I wish they were coming more often because I'm their fan now."
"I don't know why it took so long for us to try FOMO. It's been out list forever. We met some people at a Yelp event who highly recommended it, so we finally decided to give it a go. The person who answered the phone was incredibly nice! Very easy to order. We ordered two pounds of chicken: one of each flavor. The pieces were massive, with plenty of meat. They were hot and covered in sauce. So many places skimp on the sauce, but FOMO did not disappoint. The chicken pieces were good... no gross stringy pieces. They were huge too! I could only have a few pieces before I was super full. The flavors were excellent. For once, I think I liked the soy garlic better than the spicy one. I'm a massive spicy fan, but the soy garlic was amazing! We'd definitely come back!"
"Pupusas & Quesabirria here are the best I've had so far! Those seem to be their specialty here, tho they have tortas, tacos, tamales, quesadillas & mulitas as well. I'm usually a taco guy but they don't have too many meat choices and I wasn't a big fan of their pastor so I stick to the pupusas & birria. I haven't had too many pupusas before but the chicharrón was a cheesy porky melty patty of goodness served w/ pickled cabbage. I really want to try the ham&cheese one & they also have some tasty sounding veggie options : jalapeño y queso & mushrooms w/ cheese. The birria was fantastic too - the least greasiest I've tried with a lighter tomatoey flavor. They also have handmade tortillas here for an extra $1.The ambience is a little "rustic" shall we say lol (in a strip club parking lot surrounded by industrial park) but the food is worth it. But they got a table w/ several chairs set up in the shade, nothing fancy but usually a quiet place to eat, and if you can I recommend eating while they're hot and fresh instead of letting them get greasy and soggy on the drive home."
"It's a good food cart to grab some quick food when in the area. They are usually the ones that have longer operating hours than the other carts in the area. We stopped by and shared a chorizo quesadilla while waiting for our other stuff. The flavor of the chorizo was on point, and the quesadilla did its job. The person working there was friendly and quick to prepare our food."
"I came here the other day when we were at Hawthorne Asylum for lunch and the place was absolutely amazing. I ordered the chicken tacos with rice and beans. These are absolutely incredible. Just a heads up the food is a huge huge portion so you can definitely split it with someone else. Especially if you want to try any other dishes here.Staff and service are incredible. Will be back soon!IG: @QueenOfAdventureNYC"
