"Located at Pioneer Courthouse Square, parking was hard to find, but this food cart was not. Service was friendly and helpful with no wait to order, and it took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. The breakfast sandwiches here are unique and tasty, the sriracha mix-a-lot with just the right spice, and the yolko ono with a delicious light layer of pesto, a slight char on the sausage patty inside (almost overcooked but nice and savory), the egg fried perfectly, and the sourdough bread airy and flavorful... it's clear they use quality ingredients here. There was nowhere to sit and eat as they were setting up for a concert on the day we visited, so we ended up walking to Director Park nearby and enjoying our meal at the tables over there."
"WHEN: Fri @5pmWhile there is plenty of seating at this food hall, not many are in the shade, so those get snagged up quick! What's convenient is there is a tablet you can place your order from, and here's what 3 adults shared:Our order comes with pickles and warm dip bbq sauce.PORK SPARE RIBS (1 lb) - $16Not my favorite since I'm not a fan of dry surfaces but the flavor is all there. SLICED BRISKET (1/2 lb) - $16Wow so tender! Best brisket ever! Even better when you dip it in the BBQ sauce. Man, I am impressed.ORIGINAL SAUSAGE (1) - $6I appreciate it already cut into section which makes it easier to share. Your standard sausage link with a bit of kick to it. I liked it. PORK BELLY BURNT ENDS (1/2 lb) - $16Rich and tender enough for me. Juicy and rich. Okay fine, it's fatty, I said what I said.QUESO MAC AND CHEESE - $4.75When you receive this after it's served, it looks like a pool of runny yellow liquids. Don't worry that cheese sauce will l thicken, and just might become the best Mac n cheese you've ever had! Price is decent too for the amount! How did we manage to still have leftovers? I guess we weren't hungry, which proves more that this place serves good BBQ!"
Our signature dish. Fried egg, homemade pesto, parmesan, and a hand-pressed house sausage patty. Feiil staff tip: It's great with havarti and aardvark aioli!

"We were visiting Portland and saw this cute little food truck near our hotel. I can't speak on the actual entrees, but the mango sticky rice was out of this world! The owners were friendly and it was open late, so that's a plus."
"Jojo comes up on a lot of PDX "Best of..." lists, and as a result, when I was looking to book a reservation and found no convenient time slots available, I figured the next best alternative would be to skip the BS and just hit up the food cart. Good choice.Reasonably priced for a premium burger in Portland, I went with the Mr. Onion Burger, which lived up to the name in every way possible: an assortment of awesome Alliums assembled under a bun, and tied together with a tasty, tangy Alabama white mustard. Very much approved! I'm now even more intrigued to return and try the Spicy Cheeseburger, which would normally have been my #1 pick, but I wanted to try something different.Of course, one can't eat at Jojo's without trying the Jojo's, right? And my visit was no exception: a small order of the Nashville Hots was a fantastic accompaniment, even if the red sauce and breading got absolutely everywhere! And even a small order is a sizeable portion, meaning I took half of it home with me, for later.Jojo came with a lot of hype and expectations, but they knocked it out of the park, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And if you're like me, and you don't need any pretense to enjoy a classic burger at a reasonable price, don't bother reserving a table in NW; just head over to this cart on SE Powell."
"Who doesn't want a Korean food truck in their neighborhood?Small portions just right for a midday snack.Galbi is good but with plain chopped lettuce.Hot Dog simply garnished with kimchee. What to expect:Street parking off of Division. If you want to dine under the carport eating tables are limited.Rice has been hit or miss. Food takes a bit of time so order ahead."
"My friend and I came around 8pm on a Thursday and there was no line. Ordered the small bowl with chicken and andouille which was def enough portion for 1 person to be full. Waited about 10 min for food to be prepared. Tasted very hearty and chicken was tender, solid meal for the price!"
""Hawai'i has often been called a melting pot, but I think of it more as a 'mixed plate'-a scoop of rice with gravy, a scoop of macaroni salad, a piece of mahi-mahi, and a side of kimchi."-- Alan Brennert, HonoluluDriving up to this little cart in a nondescript tiny lot next to a flower shop doesn't really give you the impression that you're in for something special... ...BUT YOU ARE. There is LOVE in these plate lunches. There is ALOHA in this food. A few bites of the PASTELE STEW will having you hollering ONO and MAHALO witih every bite. There's pork cubes in a mildly tangy tomato based sauce with some olives, and achiote (I think). My favorite thing on the menu. The Mac salad is the best I've ever tasted. Friends - there is potato in there. There is some hard boiled egg in there. There's the usual mac, mayo, and shredded onion in there. There's probably secret ingredients in there. And its all balanced perfectly. The GUAVA CHICKEN is 'gazmic. The KALUA PORK is delicious. The dude who owns the cart is a WHOLE VIBE. Seriously - Get the Pastele Stew. It is incredible. The closest thing I've ever tasted that might be similar is my mom's Filipino Cocido. Apparently it has Puerto Rican roots, and got filtered through a bunch of Hawaiian grandmas to become the delicious dish it is now. Effing magical."
"Came here for a bite while at Fracture Brewing. We weren't sure which food cart we were gonna go with, and were just looking at the menu, then the samples started coming! The man working was super nice and started telling us about all the different foods they had as well as the influences behind each - it was really cool to see the passion he had for his food. Everything we sampled was fantastic, definitely could've and would've eaten it all if we had the time and belly space. We ended up getting the Guyanese potato and chicken curry, and Dahl - by happy accident. We had ordered the potato and chicken curry, they did half that and half Dahl, realized they made the mistake, and then brought us out another half portion of the chicken and potato curry! Happy about that mistake though, because we got to enjoy more of their amazing food. The serving was nice and big, as were the pieces of chicken and potato. Absolutely no skimping here. Both dishes were so full of flavor, and the sauce they serve on the side was the perfect addition for a little kick of heat. There was plenty of seating for the number of food carts they had here, and much of it was covered. Would absolutely come back here."
"Talk about a winner!! this place is an absolute classic. I grew up eating a restaurants like this my whole life and Southern California and it's nice when you see one doing well here. Very authentic great prices and you always leave full. Definitely worth coming in and checking out grabbing a combo plate is a no-brainer. Always get the one personally. It's well worth it and really there's no reason not to. Places always clean well taken care of is always friendly and food is always fresh.Food is great quality and they regularly run deals and promos so come check it out"

If you want hot food, great and fast service, and with an ambiance of being in the heart of Portland. Find this food truck! Are you wandering around and hungry for breakfast? Hit this spot up. I met a really pretty young woman and was chatting away while I ate my sandwich, so forgot to take a picture. But man, I'll be coming back to Portland next month and will be here again!

Well, you have to get here right when they open or order online right at 10 AM.It's Father's Day, and I waited too late to get the Beef Rids, but what I did order I'd good also but kicking myself for not ordering an extra Mac & Cheese. It's a food truck haven where Matt's is located at and trust me a lot to choose from. But for the BBQ. It's Matt's Hands down.Make sure to get out and grab you some good BBQ in the Pacifica Northwest.

The best late night Thai food you will find in Portland. Also the owner is so kind! We came really late one night and he was still willing to make food and was friendly. The food is really flavorful and it's a great value for the price. Never had a bad thing here. It's a food truck so didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I will say it has a kick, so be forewarned if you need it on the less spicy side, ask for mild :)

Tried Jojo for the first time during lunch. My assumption was that they didn't have vegan food because there was a huge emphasis on Southern fried dishes. However, there is VEGAN MENU. Not just a few vegan options, but MANY vegan choices to choose from. I tried the vegan biscuit and gravy. I wasn't really impressed by the sauce or dryness of the biscuit, but it wasn't bad. It was lukewarm, but on the colder spectrum, which disappointed me. The southern tofu fried sandwich was delicious. Very crispy and delicious! I recommend to others. I think their best dish is their JOJO. Not a surprise right? It was very crispy and flavorful. A fresh batch of love. The fried chicken waffle was praised by my meat eating father. Service is quick. Very friendly staff. There is service fee: 20%. Love the ambiance. Super cute with plants.

Just chose this food truck because is closest to where I was walking. While waiting for my room I decided to walk. It's really hit and miss in the d-town area.Ordered my spicy chicken with Kim chee, sprouts & rice.Waited 12 or so minutes, the guy was friendly. No juice or drinks so let's see how this will go down. Disclaimer it's springing guy says you can go over to the bus and eat.. like cool. Get on the bus there is a drink fee.. fyi.

"Aloha Spirit in the form of Food!! They always make me feel so welcomed here. Its like being back home in Hawaii! Always greeted, always served with a smile. The food is always on point. So ONO!!I been in Portland for a few years now and was craving good authentic Hawaiian Poke. The make your own bowl places are good and all, but I want that fresh fish, buttery texture and a salty finish. I get that here at 808.Last time I was here I got the Poke Sampler which was 2 of their Ahi Poke and their Salmon Poke. My goodness... It was enough for 2 meals. They said 10oz but it really felt like a whole pound! So much freshness and great texture. It's like they made it right next to the ocean in the islands. You get to even choose one of their special sauces, I always get the Sweet Wasabi. Man, I can eat anything with this stuff!! I dream about it and to put a ring on it. Its that good, trust me, thank me later!"
"Think of this place as Chipotle's cool cousin from the Caribbean. From the beans (3 types) to the meats (5 types) to the sauces and salsas (I lost count), this place is all about choices, choices, choices. I'm a burrito bowl guy, and I always get mine piled a mile high. I don't have a go-to order because I change it up every time. The ingredients are crazy fresh. The staff is super friendly. And the food? Let's just say this place is raising the burrito bar."
"I've visited a lot of other carts in the Mississippi pod but had always passed this one by bc it looked to me from the colors, design and name to be just another low quality teriyaki/fusion style pan Asian cart. But upon closer look I saw they offered some interesting stuff like chicken feet and Laotian jerky so I had to try. - Chicken feet: I'm not a huge chicken feet guy but I still like to try the different styles of chicken feet. These tasted like they were steamed a little and then fried a little w/ lemon pepper seasoning. I liked these better than Chinese chicken feet (which I find to be cold & soggy) but still not as much as Korean chicken feet which are just spicy AF to disguise the fact ur eating chicken feet. If you haven't had chicken feet before don't be expecting some delicious meaty delicacy, you are chewing on toes, but hey it's a fun drinking snack.- Laotian beef jerky: very good, served w/ fish sauce for dipping and rice. Has a nice dry rub on it that makes it taste more like steak than jerky.- Crispy rice ball fried rice: interesting to try, pretty good but I prefer more Chinese style fried rice.I've had plenty of Thai & Vietnamese food of course but think this was my first time trying Laotian, it was very good, similar but a little different."
"Eminently friendly couple serving up some fresh, tasty, crispy fried halibut and chips. My wife and I split a 4-piece which, at $40 a basket, we hoped would be enough to fill us up. Thankfully, the halibut pieces were not only massive, they were also tender, flaky, juicy and piping-hot! Among the best in the city, if you ask me!Additionally, the Piedmont Station food cart pod is probably the most aesthetic in Portland, and has a solid variety of dining options. Although we initially came here to try another cart, which was closed outside of their posted operating hours, their loss is Halibut's gain (and ours)! We'll definitely be back!"
"During our trip to Portland..we fell in love with all these food cart pods that were everywhere in the city!We loved this spot with their variety and seating availability with fire pits and benches in tents to stay away from the rain.We had:- fennel sausage pizza - from the pizza place. Loooooved their dough and all the toppings all worked together so well. Delicious pizza.- falafel supreme wrap - from the Mediterranean place.. this wrap was one of THE BEST thing I ate in Portland. It was super flavorful and fresh with eggplant, tahini, falafel, hummus, veggies, etc... Omg so good!- orange chicken shawarma - really good flavorful chicken shawarma on a bed of basmati rice served with salad and dolmas..- palak paneer fries - from the fries place.. OMG this one was really good too! Perfectly fried fries topped with curried spinach, paneer cheese, & cilantro chutney.. mm mmm mmmm :)''''There were also burgers, Mexican with regular and vegan options, Thai food, wood fired chicken..Parking: was a bit sketchy and hard to find. Street parking available around.. it took us a while to get one.MmMmm... *burp*"
"Superb chicken sandwiches to be had here. The Nashville hot is delicious. Super moist fried chicken and just hot enough sauce. Their Korean chicken sandwich is legit as well. Yummy waffle fries. Quick and friendly service."
"Sawasdee was a food cart in Slab Town and now it's an actual restaurant with seating indoors. Good for them! They serve decent Thai food and have a good following so I hope they are successful with their expanded and upleveled space!Tried the Pad Kee Mao and it was tasty, just wish there was more veggies in with the stir fried wide rice noodles and chicken. The yellow curry was very flavorful and the chicken very tender. Lots of curry sauce which got soaked up by the jasmine rice. I'd definitely get again. Service is friendly and efficient, everything made fresh to order. Parking is on the street so depending on the time of day, you may have to walk a bit. I was there to pick up a late lunch and no problem finding parking."
"Good value, large portions, tasty food and friendly owners. I just went Big Island last summer and think this place is better than a really popular place in Kona Go with the Death Row Plate for $27. Two types of fried chicken, poke, mac salad and rice. Sooo good!! I'll definitely be back. Pay attention to their instagram, they're only open for a few hours and they sell out QUICK because they have lots of IG hype and absolutely meet expectations."
"Pretty solid tacos! Located at 'the garage' pod for now but moving soon!Super friendly staff. They recommended the tacos - 2 bucks for street tacos w the usual selection, 5 bucks for fish or shrimp which are a little bigger. Got the 10 dollar taco plate - 3 tacos and rice and beans. Plus a shrimp and fish. Wanted to get to 20 bucks so I could charge it. Food was great. Carnitas and bbq pork were on point. Shrimp was awesome. Fish meh Would come again"
"Haven't been here in 6 years since O was born. We got on in the beginning of a road trip and date I say it hit the flavour spot! It was better than we even remembered. He had to go classic with sausage and maple cream. We ordered ahead through Yelp to avoid standing in the rain. The waffle was soaked in the perfect amount of sweet maple cream with that toasty juicy sausage. Just perfection and perfect for eating while driving so we could hit the road on time!"
"Quite possibly the best bang for your buck in Portland! I was staying at the Marriot across the street and needed some late night grub and found Gyro Place on Yelp. To my surprise, their lamb gyro here is ONLY $5. Yes, $5 flat. Coming from the Bay Area, I couldn't believe it, where something like that would run upwards of $13 plus tax.Aside from the ridiculously amazingly deal, the lamb gyro is delicious and one of the best I've had. The pita bread was warm and fresh, and the lamb meat was super tender, tasty, and flavorful. They don't skimp on the meat either, as it was overflowing out of the pita.I loved the gyro so much, I went back two more times before my trip in Portland ended. Contrary to what I've read in reviews, they are not open 24/7. I asked and they are open until 2 AM every day.Depending on who is making your gyro, the white sauce can be a bit much, so I would recommend asking for light sauce or sauce on the side. They make everything fresh to order, so it could take 10 min or so to wait for your order. They take credit card.If you're coming late at night, be vigilant in the area, as you will mostly likely run into a homeless person. One time when I was waiting for my order around 10:30 PM I was approached by three separate homeless people. Just FYI."
"Ordered the Kalua Pig and 808 Fried Chicken! It was absolutely delicious. With ordering one plate, I loved how it was enough for leftovers or for two people. Their portions are generous for a good price! You can also choose a variety of sauces they have, such as spicy mayo, ginger soy, teriyaki, and more!"
"I've only tried the Clam Chowder and it was excellent. The owner was very nice. Will update when I go back to sample more of the menu."
"Not bad! Especially for a food truck and one that's so far out from the coast. And pricing is decent given the location of the trucks.I got the mango ahi poke sushiritto for $12(? I think) and the ordering/pick-up process was seamless. I was able to easily find a table to enjoy my food. The ahi was previously frozen (any food truck serving raw fish would probably have to freeze their fish), but still good quality. I'd order from here on my next visit."
"We were super impressed with the breakfast we ate here.1+1: The pancakes were eggy, fluffy, and spongy. They were sweet but not overbearing - great balance! - Nutella Stuffed: Loved the sweetened condensed milk in place of syrup. Great take on a traditional pancake.- Lemon Ricotta: Melted in the mouth. Spongier than the Nutella pancake. The lemon flavor came from the syrup. Bacon, Egg, + Cheese Sando: Very well seasoned. The eggs were fluffy, and the bread was buttery. The components of the sandwich were perfectly balanced."
"Really delicious burrito. I got the carnitas but I've heard very good things about the tuna as well. We ordered delivery but looking forward to ordering at the food truck and hanging out in the pod."
"One of their trucks came to my work parking lot, and it was a super yummy treat! I ordered the Mega Mt. Fuji ($15). There was a surprisingly high filling:rice ratio, that I appreciate! The rice was really just a very thin outside layer. It was definitely too large to put in my mouth, so I just had to eat around the edges, and every bite was a different kind of tasty! The crunch from the red cabbage, cucumbers, and fried onions was refreshing. The fish had a good texture as well--not mushy. Everything was so fresh! I didn't even end up using any soy sauce because it comes with a nice mayo-based sauce inside. I hope they come back soon!UPDATE: After my amazing sushi burrito experience, I went to the cart in this food pod. Unfortunately, it was not as good as the traveling cart. The rice was over cooked, the burrito was smaller (ordered Mega), and the tuna was mushy and kind of sinewy. :("
"I don't know why it took so long for us to try FOMO. It's been out list forever. We met some people at a Yelp event who highly recommended it, so we finally decided to give it a go. The person who answered the phone was incredibly nice! Very easy to order. We ordered two pounds of chicken: one of each flavor. The pieces were massive, with plenty of meat. They were hot and covered in sauce. So many places skimp on the sauce, but FOMO did not disappoint. The chicken pieces were good... no gross stringy pieces. They were huge too! I could only have a few pieces before I was super full. The flavors were excellent. For once, I think I liked the soy garlic better than the spicy one. I'm a massive spicy fan, but the soy garlic was amazing! We'd definitely come back!"
