"Perfect location (gateway district) off the freeway for quick dinner. Staff here is really nice the times I've gone through. . Pretty good food and fries are always hot. Not much to complain about."
"So far the best burgers for the money on the east side of Portland. $17.50 for two burgers with bacon, cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce, and a good sized piece of meat! Left this space for no apparent reason. ...............................................! With the burger you got fries and a coke. Service was fast considering every this is cooked fresh. Everything appeared to be clean including the floor, mmmmnot sticky as it is in most burger joints. The city has seen fit to take all the on street parking for bike lanes, so you park at your own peril in their lot. By the way I never saw a bike on Division or the side street. No wonder small businesses are closing all over Portland."

"My last review of Du's was in 2016, but I've been going since at least 2007. Still--one of if not the best tasting anything in Portland. That's what she said. Honors: They were about to close for about an hour to service the grill (in the early afternoon), but after learning I was visiting from DC, fired up and made me two chickens extra sauce to go."
"I've found that the better breakfast burritos are at Mexican food places, but there are standout exceptions like at the Doghouse.Too bad I don't like mushrooms because they're part of most of the creations at this cart. The Icognito - without mushrooms - was so good. The shredded potatoes are crisy, rather than cubed and boiled. The grilled onions and aioli complement it well. Likewise, the Love Actually was a winner.Unfortunately, I didn't care for the Siren's Call. It's the first option for breakfast burritos so maybe it's a crowd favorite.Size wise, the burritos are big and provide decent value compared to others in town. The soon-to-be new owner is cool. Parking can be tough."
"I just discovered this place and it is very nice. The food was all fresh and delicious tasting."
"Order: Double Combo w/ IBC Cream sodaPros: This was a good damn burger!!! Probably the best burger I have actually had in Portland. They served my burger straight off the grill and it had steam coming right of the burger! The ingredients were fresh!!! The tomato was cored and halved. I really get sick of places not coring their tomatoes and I bight into a pit. Their pickles they chose to use was A1! I love their choice of pickle. The bread bun was good and light. The sauce used was good. The patties were great. They could use a tad but more salt and pepper but overall it was still good. Curly frys were amazing and seasoned extremely well. Not to much not to little.Cons: n/aSide Note: Looks can be deciving. I was driving through the janky alley to grt to this place and I was a lilttpe skeptical of the outside appearance (they cant control that). However, once inside, the place is airy and clean. It's also next to a railroad track so keep in mind when lookin"
"I was a little hungry for some dinner and came across this food truck while perusing through Yelp. I noted that the location was about 1/2 mile from where I was staying so that made it convenient. I have always known Portland to be a mecca for food trucks and I have tried a couple and they did not disappoint. It was getting late in the evening and sun was still out and the temps were still on the warm side. There were about 4 other food trucks that were still open and serving food. next time I am in the area I will try the other ones. Firstly parking was a little difficult though I found one right in front of the main entrance. There was a sign that indicated that free parking was available across the street. There were a number of tables arranged in a small courtyard (including an interesting spaceship dining area) and a fire pit which I assume is used duing the colder winter months. Anyways I ordered the beef kebab over rice for $17.99. It took about 10 minutes for my order to appear (which was a to-go order) and I noticed the food was being made fresh in the back. The food in my opinion was quite good and everything tasted really nice. For the price it was a good amount of food however I wished they had thrown in a piece of flat bread for the nice hummus. I will definitely try out the other trucks the next time I am in the area."

Okay..so my 4 stars are pretty generous as I'm mostly blinded by nostalgia and if you're not then you're going to see Cruisers as more of a 2 star kind of place, but hear me out: The vibes are unbeatable here. You've got a classic diner & mile high soft serve with the flavor swirls..where else can you find this around here? I grew up going here and now take my kids when we're in the area because I'm just so happy it's here. Now to be straight up..the food is terrible. Like actually..I'd compare it to stadium food but specifically the most low budget stadium you could think of. Think frozen fries & plastic cheese. So if you want my tip: don't go when you're hungry..save Cruisers for your after dinner treat where you go here to sit back under the neon & enjoy the ice cream!

As a fourth generation Asian American I've had my fair share of teriyaki. This place has been hyped up so much that honestly I'm not quite sure what expectations I had. I don't know what got into my brain but I felt I had to have the chicken. So I got the chicken and the pork. The chicken was good. It was juicy enough. Nothing exceptional but in my opinion chicken is really easy to screw up. The pork had some good flavor on it. Nice char on it. Juicy enough. I liked it. I added some sauce but I think I added too much but that was my fault. If I loved salad I would appreciate the amount of it. Teriyaki salad has two kinds of dressing. Creamy and garlic ginger bomb. I guess I'd choose creamy. It was ok. Price was a little high. But it's possible I've completely lost touch. The soda machine was broken. I don't know if it always is, but I really wanted one. Ambiance is nothing special. On par for sandy boulevard so I'm not offended. Is it good. Yes. Is it worth crossing town and making it a compulsory Portland meal? That might be a stretch.

A delightful place to get satisfying comfort food to-go. Service was pleasant, efficient, and properly masked for pandemic preparation and plating. I was craving a burger during a long absence from visiting carts, and the Doghouse came through with the Momentary Indiscretion - pleasantly messy with grilled mushrooms and onions, plus asiago cheese. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Unexpected Perfection burger - with bacon, bleu cheese, and grilled onions. He opted for a serving of bbq sauce instead of ketchup, and was very happy with that choice.I chose tater tots as my side, and it made a perfect accompaniment to my first burger in quarantine times....

Today I tried the spicy Korean fried chicken! Delicious! Good spice and garlic. And the portion was large enough to fill me up at lunch and allow me leftovers for dinner. This is new to the menu, and in the past, I usually order either the beef or the chicken teriyaki, both of which I enjoy. I am a fan of this teriyaki restaurant, with a Korean twist. They also serve galbi and bulgolgi, neither of which I have tried yet. This is a nice local spot.

Great burgers and sides. Simple menu and they do it well! They also have black bean burgers (which aren't advertised very well). There's no seating inside, so it's really a to-go spot. Overall would come back again!

I've passed this food cart millions of times. MLK carts. The cool spaceship is here. First time here. Choices of carts are Mexican, Indian, Thai, Baglery, Cheese steak (hot dogs too, fries) and Gyro Land. Left out one place and can't recall the name, a red cart. Bathroom. Park going North on MLK before the corner market in the free lot for MLk carts. So easy. Cross street. Covered. I read all except Mexican. Chose falafel gyro. Omg. So good. Falafel was crispy, cooked all the way through, that crunch. Chopped up lettuce and pickles, good red hot sauce, it was huge. I ate every bite. Lotsa good Middle Eastern food on menu.

"A non mall food, food at the food court. It doesn't happen often but, Washington Square has a few options besides the standard food court food. This Indian restaurant truly is an actual Indian restaurant operating in a food court. They carry the popular hits of saag paneer, butter chicken, chicken vindaloo etc There is enough options for both vegetarians and meat eaters here. The food is actually good, flavor is there, and the portions are fair for the price ($15/16 for combo entrees, enough food to fill up)The naan bread could be better, it was not as good as other places, but it was only a $1.5 so not a big deal. It's worth eating here if you like Indian food or want to try it out. They offer samples as well, which can help people find what they like"
"Super Deluxe is still nailing it with the yummy vegan fast food. Absolutely no complaints. The staff is friendly, service is not slow but not super fast. It's fine because it's a decent burger and good fries!!! It's usually really dead INSIDE when we are there, but on our most recent visit a burnt out Mom was there with three VERY loud kids. lol. I had just two girls (8 & 10,) with me who were BOTH well behaved. But I felt for her so I didn't give her any grief. I can always count on Super Deluxe for a quick meal that leaves us satisfied!!"
"A very tasty pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. It's family run, and it feels homey!"
"Hidden gem! Popped in on a whim. All in my party got the yakisoba--beef for two, chicken for one. Fast, freshly made, delicious! Super friendly service. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that it's on the more expensive side and the atmosphere isn't great (definitely more of a takeout joint), but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff make up for that."
"A Multnomah Village favorite for grab-and-go dinners. When I walked in the first time, I was welcomed to the "smallest sports bar in Portland, or so I'm told" by one of the regulars. With four indoor stools for diners, I think he may be right. Both my husband and I are big fans of their healthy bento meals. It is actually the best meal I've had in Multnomah Village and the one that makes me feel good after dining. Portions are not oversized and they've nailed that magical combination of healthy and delicious. The basis of the bento meals are high quality meat and fish options, although tofu and chicken are offered (http://www.thehutpdx.com/menu/). I can't pass up the lamb when it is on the specials menu and Mr. K is a tri-tip man. Your choice of white or brown rice and the vegetables remain crisp (not overcooked) and I love the kick of their special sauce.Although you have to wait a bit for your food, I consider this a good thing. Beer and wine are served and I don't mind passing the time watching and talking football with the owner and staff. I realize that $12 for bento is a bit pricy, but it doesn't seem outrageous considering the quality of the meal."
"I liked that they have added some newer items on the menu since my last visit. They're not much seating inside, but they do have a few small tables outside. We tried some of their newer items - hot and sour noodle soup and jajangmyeon. We also got some soup dumplings and wonton soup. The flavors of the soup were great and worth trying"
"Late night... triple date night with friends. Great company, drinks and nibbles. Superb very attentive service. The drinks were fun and tasty. The food was good and they have a late night happy hour menu that we stayed long enough to enjoy! Make reservations because this place gets busy."
"We arrived on a Thursday late morning for a sammy. Service was very friendly and helpful. We got the giant Super Sub, "Mike's way" including the pepper relish. It was great, fresh and far more than we could eat so we brought half the sammy home for later munching."
