"Really enjoyed our dinner at Banning's. We're a family of four. The kids got burgers and they were HUGE and delicious. My husband and I both got the half sandwich, soup or salad and pie deal and were so happy we did. The salad was really great with carrot shavings and even peas. I had the chili and it was great. We also had a taste of the cream of mushroom and it tasted homemade and delicious. By the time dessert came around, we were so full that we asked for our desserts to go. Marionberry poppyseed cake rocked my world and the carrot cake was dreamy! Even the bathroom in this place is awesome. Really well kept and modern."
"Sheldon only eats Thai on Monday's, but I'll take Thai anytime, anywhere and especially if its so close to home . Red Onion has a huge fan following in the area and for good measures . The food is delicious , the service is fast and there are almost always lots of leftovers .We used to come to Red Onion even before they renovated . The fresh look is definitely more appealing and inviting but the prices are as good as before .Parking is always a pain in the area and worse on the weekends."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants for delicious desserts! They make everything in-house and have been a Sellwood staple since 1978. I even purchased my wedding cake from them.We stopped in to grab a variety of desserts for a gathering we were having at our home. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were having issues with their credit card machine but were very apologetic. We ended up ordering a piece of the lemon chiffon cake, German chocolate cake, raspberry gateau, lemon curd tart, and marionberry cheesecake. They were all absolutely delicious!I would highly recommend this establishment for desserts. They have a nice variety. You won't be disappointed!"
"I had an incredible meal at this restaurant. I began the meal with seafood chowder and a crabcake, both dishes were incredible. The crabcake was accompanied with a house, made slaw, that had amazing flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the market seafood salad, it was outstanding. There was smoked salmon on the salad (that is smoked in the restaurant), it was phenomenal. The best thing about this dining experience, is the incredible service I received. My server (Andrew) was so personable, attentive, and he personally boxed every portion of my meal that I couldn't finish. I will definitely come back to this restaurant, due to the amazing service and outstanding food."
"It's such a vibe here!! I could definitely see myself coming back here the next time I'm in town. We didn't try the Gimbap Party menu here, so can't really speak to that, but it looked awesome. It was great seeing so many tables enjoying that. I love Gimbap and it's cool they made it into such an interactive experience here. The actual set up of the restaurant is one of the best I've ever come across. It truly feels like you're at someone's house, and love how big and spacious the patio area is. This is truly the perfect place for a nice dinner in the summer. We got a few non-alcoholic drinks as well as desserts like shaved ice and another specialty rice cake dessert. They were just setting up for karaoke when we were about to leave, and I could imagine this being such a fun place to spend a weekend evening! The team here is also so kind!"
"Our friends in town wanted to meet up at Bipartisan Cafe, known for their handmade pies. It's next door to Vintage Cocktail Lounge and Redwood. We dropped in on a busy Sunday morning (9:15am). Order at the front, then wait for your name to be called. No service (you busk your own tables) yet the minimum tip option was 15%.Coffees are $3.25 to $6.00 USD in three sizes (8 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz). For food, they offer pies, pastries, sandwiches, breakfast sammies, bagels and quiches. - Latte ($5.25 USD 12 oz) - subbed for oat ($1.25 USD extra). Solid but pricey cup of coffee. - Ham breakfast sammie ($8.50 USD) - black forest ham, egg, dijon and aged white cheddar. Sandwich was tiny and bland. Disappointing.- Veggie quiche ($6.50 USD) - spinach, zucchini and button mushrooms. Decent.Would stick with the pies at BC."
"I enjoyed this place very much. It's a small place, (maybe 8 booths) they do offer some outside seating. The server was really friendly and attentive. My food was excellent, had the envy Benedict & would recommend it! Also had a bloody Mary I felt had too much salt but it was good otherwise in flavor. It's not fancy, and the building is old. That takes nothing away from great service and an excellently prepared meal. I will be back!"
"Food here is always fresh, flavorful and delicious! The layers of sweet, spice, sour and sweet are a party in your mouth! My favorite is Pad Kee Mao, which is Drunken Noodles on their menu. It's my go to dish when I'm craving Thai because I love the wide rice noodles and flavor components. Their version is light on the heat so I ask for chili oil and add heat to please my palette. They are also light on the protein so I ask for extra chicken for $3 more. One order is then enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Big open space with plenty of booths and tables. They have a full bar. Service is friendly. They also do a lot of takeout. Have their own parking lot making it super convenient. I'm always going from Portland to Hood River and back, and Thai Carnation is often where I stop for dinner to eat there or takeout to enjoy at home."

Haven't been to Banning's for a while because it's always packed (I'm happy they have all this business) but we came in tonight after Mike's drive in was full. Food came out so fast, waited maybe ten minutes tops. My club sandwich and fries portion was massive, got leftovers! Fries were just out of the fryer and perfectly crisp. Our server was great as well, attentive but not clingy.

Heard of this place for years but never walked in to try until today. This is one of the very few Thai restaurants I think have great food, taste, service is very kind and helpful. I recommend ordering anything really, because the main dishes are huge for the price you pay which isn't common, so yeah... I ordered the friend chicken bits and Kao Soi. Such a huge bowel. I wasn't expecting a big portion, but was pleased. The curry in the Soi is perfect with every bite. That chicken was tender and flavorful.

The cove is located along the Columbia River, on the Washington side. It was by far one of the best meals I had on my trip to Washington. The seafood is fresh, and prepared to perfection! I loved all the menu choices, a great variety of seafood, sushi, meat choices, and salads that will blow your mind! The ambiance is lively, and relaxed. Easily a great place to stop by, even if you're dressed casually! Or dress up, and reserve the dining room for a special occasion. The Cove is perfect for both! Our server was so friendly and attentive, never did we have to wait or ask for a single thing. Also, the staff worked together.. kitchen orders were brought by runners, and food was hot and never sitting and waiting for waiters. Waters always being refilled, just a perfect experience all around! I can't wait to go back, and highly recommend!

I'd wanted to dine here for quite a while. So I was thrilled when they were hosting the Good Food foundations dinner and I was invited to attend. The service was exceptional, especially considering it was an event of all food and beverage industry professionals, and business owners. A very demanding group.Such a beautiful and unique set up with the open courtyard design. Wish I'd gotten a photo of that, but there are plenty available to reference online. The cocktails were exceptional. I had one that had a slight note of savoriness to it with sesame oil. The starters that were put out for everyone to Nashon while they arrived at the event were fresh, unique, and delicious with a seafood.Mind blowing dinner served family style. Grilled beef and Hamachi Crudo served with an array of sides, rice and seaweed to create handheld bites.

This is a down to earth cafe with a full cafe menu and good pies. There are a good number of seats available. Staff is kind. Street parking. I believe the owner wants to keep this place affordable and neighborhood friendly. I like that. I will be back.

"Wow! Totally worth the drive from Beaverton... not easy during rush hour, but we made it. For the premium rolls it was $17-$19 for rolls but with large portions. Great flavor and fresh! We loved the Oh my God roll (tempura shrimp with spicy tuna and spicy crab and salmon) it has unagi (eel), too which may not be for everyone. Loved the super crunch roll with shrimp, avocado, cream cheese and crunchy sweet potato. Tried the sushi and sashimi platter served on a boat and had delicious fresh variety of salmon, tuna, shrimp, ect...Got the lion but didn't care for it. It was some sort of hot salmon roll. Overall, large portions, quality hand-made sushi and kind staff!"
"Stopped by here on a whim as I was passing by and suddenly had a craving for a sweet treat. The chocolate cake was good but the cupcake I had was amazing. I will definitely be coming back. However, I wouldn't say anything special stands out from the many other bakeries in town."
"Perfect punk pizza parlor! Pinball! Good music to rock out to, yummy pizza (good CRUST!), chill vibes & nice employees. This place made me happy."
"Best lunch spot for pho.Ok, admittedly the *only* pho place I've been to so far my first time in Portland- but compared to all the pho's I've had back home in Philly, it's on par, and probably even a bit better. Get the house special for lunch!! Every bit is so amazing and the broth is sooo flavorful. Also, the taro boba with organic coconut milk was the perfect way to finish it off.Minus a star for the lack of meat based on price - was mostly rice noodle and broth. Both however, we're fabulous!! Would definitely return"
"Sometimes you need a little tasty, sweet, crispy treat.Looking at their bakery case it was hard to make a decision. Cupcakes, bars, cookies and more. I knew I was leaving with just one treat so I had to choose carefully. It was between a monster cookie and the perfect chocolate chip cookie. I chose the monster. With the subtle flavors of peanut butter and then m & ms on top, it was a great choice! ( let's beg for the recipe )The employee barista was super helpful with my iced mocha. I like a combination of dark chocolate and white chocolate, really good!Come on over to downtown Gresham to Sugar Cubed. I know you'll find some great treats or a fancy cake for you, your family or that special occasion that's coming up."
"Updating as a lot has changed here in the last few years. They're in a new larger spot now which is a nice place, and more comfortable size. Prices have increased like everywhere else but we felt the increase more steeply here and it was more noticeable due to what we ordered. In the past, we got fish entrees that came with sides or pasta that was full of multiple ingredients so it felt like a complete meal. This time we got beef Wellington and lobster bouillabaisse- I didn't realize that for the price neither came with a side. Strangely, there are no sides listed on the menu at all so it seems those entrees are intended to be eaten alone. I'd suggest ordering one of the appetizer salads as a side or to start. The special drinks and desserts are not on printed menus and we didn't see prices listed anywhere- for reference, cocktail specials were $14-$16 and our cake dessert was $16."
"I have been wanting to check this place out forawhile now but I'm never in the area. Finally had the time to stop in today as we were coming back into town. Service was great. The young lady working the register was friendly and helpful when I was placing an order and not sure of what to get. The coffee shop is super cute but small. The drinks were delicious! My husband loved the Ube coffee and said he would definitely come back for it. I had the pistachio coffee and it was okay. I think next time I'll get the pandan."
"I've ordered from here for delivery several times now. The food is good, they've had to correct themselves (on a delivery order) and did so without trouble. I feel like it's too mild, I've opted for medium spicy on pad Thai and felt there was no kick at all. I'll change it next time. They've thrown in free spring rolls a couple times, that's a nice surprise. I've yet to go into the actual space, if I make it up I will update."
"Love it!It's like 3 or 4 different establishments rolled into one.On my last visit I met travelers at the bar, had a quiet conversation and dinner at a table, played some games downstairs, and listened to live music in the back....it felt like I was on an expansive bar tour but really I was just wandering around the local pub!The fish and chips are amazing and the bartenders friendly and attentive!Cheers!"
"Been wanting to try this place for awhile and was in the area one day and finally stopped by! Smallish cafe with mainly outdoor seating. Ordered one regular snail and 5 small ones (both same price). They were delicious and not as heavy and sweet like your typical Cinnabon ones. They drizzle the purple vanilla icing on top of each one which is sooo cute. My mom loved as well. The mini snails were cute but I feel you get more with the normal sized one so will probably get that next time. They have punch cards available and lots of street parking!"
"This cookie chain is popping up everywhere! People love the ginormous cookies topped with oh so much icing. They have a set of regular flavors available daily, and weekly, add in specialty flavors. It's a great marketing tactic to keep cookie lovers coming back. I'm that rare individual that prefers my sweets on the less sweet side so for me, the iced cookies are just too much. If I have a craving, I get the chocolate chip cookie, which is definitely a 2 or 4 serving size. The one exception is the s'mores cookies, as I love anything marshmallow. The s'mores doesn't appear that often, maybe in the summer months it will be available. Located in Cascade Station, this is a welcomed addition to this outdoor shopping area. Closed Sundays."
"Came back to try more items on their menu and we ordered: Iced butterly pea teaA soft serve HokkaidoMango bingsu, Thai tea bingsu and melon bingsuMatcha Mont Blanc soft serve. If you're a melon or mango fan you have to get their bingsu!!! The melon and mango was perfectly ripe so it didn't even need the extra sweetness from the condensed milk. The matcha Mont Blanc is an acquired taste it's paste-ty and matcha note is very strong and the Hokkaido soft serve is different from other Hokkaido flavor I've had, flavoring wise tasted like powdered milk and wasn't as creamy and soft but still very good. Everything we ordered was great and I'm glad that I was able to discover DD sweet house! ( already planning my next visit...)"
