"As a chicken wing enthusiast, "Fire on the Mountain" in Oregon had been on my must-visit list for a while. I finally made the trip from Las Vegas just to try their famous wings, and it was absolutely worth it!The Thai peanut wings were my favorite, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. But honestly, every flavor I tried was amazing. The restaurant had a great vibe, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even better. If you're a wing lover like me, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back for more!"

"It has the potential to be a disappointing evening. I ended up at providence for a family emergency. After long hours there it was time to eat. So my cousin and I got two other places on Sandy to find them closed. Fortunately this place was open till midnight. I actually like the location. It's a little scary in this part of town late so I like the off set strip mall. Odd setup inside but who doesn't like karaoke with some dancing space. We got the pad kee mao and must have stir fry with chicken. Best pkm ever. Lots of garlic and that very distinct flavor only pkm has. No obnoxious vegetables either like bell peppers. Empty vitamins. We got it mild, but it was not mild and that's ok in this case. Nice sharp heat right at the start but gives way to flavor. I actually have a theory that the better the restaurant the more haphazard the spice levels are. I really liked the stir fry too. Great flavors in the sauce. Very ginger forward which I don't normally like but I'm this case it works. My only complaint was the green beans weren't cooked properly so they were really tough. I'd definitely come back. Noon or night"
"Atmosphere: Chill, fast casual atmosphereFood: Food was good and filling. Would like to try more things on the menu Price: Excellent value at Happy HourService: Walk-up to order. Service was goodParking: Street parking"
"Hmmmmm.... I cannot classify this as a Dive Bar. I've been to a generous handful in my day, and this is upscale divey if not a classy dive bar. It is a gem and I had a great time visiting here with my daughter and her friends from UP. I remember seeing the MCT the first time we dropped her off as an entering freshman and I told her, "when you turn 21, we are going there". She is ready to graduate so it was a likely choice to stop by and grab a beer to celebrate. The staff is friendly and truly welcoming. We had so much fun watching the Blues Band that was playing, I didn't want to leave. The prices are reasonable, the interior is fun, and the overall vibe just wants you to order one more drink. We ordered a few appetizers for the table which were also good for bar food. The bartender treated us to some pudding shots... never had one, thought they only came in Jello ... oh my, so good, strong, and on the house. Thank you! We will be back, as we have a new Pilot in the house, giving me 4 more years to visit and have some fun at MCT."
"I stopped in strictly for their legendary chicken wings, and was very impressed. The store seems to be a truly great local business, with all of the essentials that one could hope for at a convenience store. Prices are reasonable, and selection is wide. Service is extremely friendly and enthusiastic, too!On my visit, I ordered an "8 wings and jojo potatoes" combo, but they were out of jojo potatoes. One of the two employees asked if I wanted to get 10 wings instead, and I gladly took her recommendation. She asked if I wanted hot sauce, and I said, "yes, please". She added a bunch of packets to my bag, and I took my wings to my car to devour them there. The wings were AWESOME!!!! They are the full wing, consisting of the tip, the "flat" and the "drumette". They're cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY! Super crisp, super juicy, and super flavorful! I was extremely happy to find that despite my ordering 10 wings per the employee's recommendation, they'd actually given me 16 wings! 16 full wings is a LOT to eat, but after I'd done just that, I could have easily eaten another dozen.I really can't wait for my next visit, and hope to be able to do so again very soon!"
"I was excited to see Bonchon here on the west coast. This pIace is legit for serving Korean Chicken Wings. The provide either a garlic soy or spicy gochugang glaze. We chose the half and half batch of wings. The double fry on the chicken wings made them so crispy! They cooked them just right so the meat was still juicy and piping hot. The glazes were a perfect mix of mild and spicy. They also give you a small container of daikon radish to serve as a pallet cleanser if you moved between the different flavors of wings."
"Man I love me some Korean Fried Chicken (the OG KFC), and I think I've finally found the best spicy wings in portland. For me it's mostly a to go joint bc they only have a couple small tables inside and no beer which is key, how can you have chicken wings without beer? Especially if you're getting the spicy then it's a necessity. Also, the hot & spicy here is seriously spicy, it usually takes me more than an hour to eat 10 wings since I need a bathroom break to blow my nose/breathe between each wing. But I keep coming back for them and I don't often order the same thing multiple times even if I enjoyed it as I like trying something new each time. You have the choice of either traditional or crispy wings, choose crispy for sure (which is traditional for me). Also have tried their duckbokki (spicy Rice Cakes) which was very good, served with ramen noodles so I guess it's actually rabokki (Ramen duckbokki). It was garnished with some fresh greens that gave some extra crunch and freshness to the dish. All in all, my favorite KFC spot in the city so far. It also delivers really well, the boxes have vent holes cut so the chicken doesn't get soggy but still stays hot. Now if they just got beer, they would be the undisputed champions."
"Okay, I gotta admit, fried chicken on a taco is a pretty stellar idea. Makes me wish I'd thought of it first! Our family had exhausted ourselves shopping for kids' clothes, and as anyone who has done that can attest, you work up quite an appetite doing so. I wasn't quite prepared to tackle any of the massive monster "burgers" like the DeNiro or the Scarface, so I stuck with the (assumedly) much lighter Saigon St. Tacos. While waiting, I made the rounds with the wife and kids, each of them ordering something from a different cart here at Happy Valley Station, then we grabbed a table and waited for our orders.Despite ordering first, mine came last, likely due to a logistical issue (there were no pickled carrots for my order, so I had to ask them to sub pickled onions instead. Tragic, but it happens. Gives me reason to come back and try again later, I guess.Fortunately, they were worth the wait. Thick breaded knuckles of white meat chicken, garnished with cilantro, sweet, spicy (and sticky) sauce, pickled carro...err, onions, in a chewy, deep-fried shell. Delicious!Did I mention that I ordered some of the Spicy Fried Brussels as well? Not yet? That's because I forgot, just like I forgot I'd ordered them when I finally picked up my meal. And while the Saigon St. Tacos were undeniably awesome, these crispy, savory little temptresses almost eclipsed my entree in how awesome they were! Whatever that sauce is, paired with the crushed chiles, is good enough to make Al Capone repent, and do his taxes.Minor hiccups aside, Christina's Cartel is a true heavy hitter. Everything was fresh, tasty, hearty, and worth every penny. The other carts at Happy Valley Station are going to need protection money if they're going to stay in business with such connected competition. When the food is this good, d'ya think I'm gonna eat at another cart? Fuhgeddaboudit!"
"Very very good and fresh! Nice ambiance and nice sushi bar and close to home. I have a few more dishes to try. My favorites are spicy tuna and unagi. Both melted in my mouth. Great flavor and nice staff"

Was testing this restaurants, for I keep reading reviews from people I know. For, my plan was to bring my group here for lunch, one day.We found a seat for two, and it was already filled, and noisy. But, we haven't been here before, and there was no sign that says: Please Wait to be Seated. So, we just helped ourselves to a seat. We didn't know, we need to order FIRST. We can not reserve seats, is what the staff told us, once they saw us go in & seat ourselves. We ordered a house salad, and picked Sesame Ginger Dressing. We both liked the flavor, and the salad was fresh, but the leaves were too long, and being the neat-freak eater we are, we couldn't find or wait for a staff to give us a knife, until we're 90% done. We also ordered 5 plain chicken tenders, but hubby was only able to eat 4. Took one home. The tenders came with 4 different dipping sauces. He liked 3 of them but not the medium buffalo sauce. Too hot of our taste! We also ordered Chicken Wrap with Mild Sauce. The first bite I had, was too hot, I was assuming, they only put it in the center of the wrap. Only then, I thought . . . this is not the place to bring picky-eaters, specially my grandchildren, who like me, hated anything spicy! The restroom was clean, but well worn (seen a lot of use). The servers were all very friendly.DYK: the best part of our meal was the FRIES! This is something everyone would agree on, and I asked the staff what's in the fries: Sugar & Salt! Whaaaat? Now you know!Negatives: Took too long for our food to arrive, but the restaurant was very busy, it was Saturday. Not for groups! They don't take reservations!

Cambodian food in Portland! Not the easiest cuisine to find.Happened to come by for happy hour -- 4-7p Sun- thurs. Specific dishes were about half off, but they're also half sized. Pad Thai - 3.5/5. More of a ?tomato based sauce. The noodles were all cut really short for some reason. Is this the Cambodian style? Standard pad Thai flavors. Crazy wings - 4/5. Salty but great flavor in the garlic sauce. Medium spicy had no spicy. Som lar maju kreung -- Cambodian sour soup 1/5I feel bad rating this like this since maybe I'm just not appreciating the Cambodian palate. But just purely based on my palate...I actually disliked this dish. The kind of sour is not like anything I've tasted before...and I eat a lot of funky, funky foods. Ah-Mok -- fish filet with herbs and spices. 5/5. This is a winning dish. They may not have it every day but if they do have it, definitely get it! So much flavor in the sauce and the fish itself is pretty good as well. Cha Kreung (Cambodian signature stir fry -- 2/5. Really standard. Sad. Just chicken breast, green beans and a sauce that was just...not memorable. Just tasted like a standard stir fry. The service was just ok. Could use improvement. No one came to check on us, not even once. Not even for the check. It was a very high and low food experience and I wanted to like it so much! But there needs to be some improvement. Overall: Food 3.5/5 with the exception of the fish dishAmbience 3.5/5Service 3.5/5 Rounding up to a 4 overall (doesn't feel right to give a 3), especially as a rare Cambodian eatery in Portland. I hope things can get better...maybe par down the menu to create more focus and then really strive for excellence in the fewer dishes.

If you're not into spicy at all I can't recommend this place because even the basic chicken sandwich had some kick, and I wasn't the only one who thought so. Which means the spicy ones are very spicy. The "fries" are giant potato wedges that are quite enjoyable. Although it does make the loaded ones a bit difficult to eat, so I'd prefer just regular then so I can dip them. The salads were kind of meh for me, but I absolutely loved the cornbread pancakes. So much that this is going to be a thing I'll need to do more often now. The chicken itself was really good and crispy and for sure had flavor. It's a good place for some spicy chicken when you're in the mood.

These wings right here! If you've never had them, do yourself a favor and go! They're so crispy, without the thick scratchy breading. It's a huge bang for your buck. I recall getting one of the sets with wings and jojos and they threw in a bonus wing or 2. It felt like a never ending bag. Eat these fresh. Did my sister and I cross the street and debate on eating these on the church steps? Yes.. because her car was half a block away and we couldn't resist. The people who work here are friendly, but you can tell, they're trying to get you in and out as fast as possible. Love this place!

I came here again more recently after hearing about their "new" flavors (it's honestly been a while since they've introduced these, but it was just my first time hearing about it). Since they've opened they've only had the soy garlic and spicy flavors, however within the past couple months they added the yangnyeom and Korean BBQ flavors. This time, I ordered in-person and to-go. The order took about an hour to do, which was honestly a bit crazy. However, I ended up walking around the mall for a bit, so the time went by fast. I ordered the ddeokbokki, buldak, and half and half of the yangnyeom and Korean BBQ flavors. The sauce of the ddeokbokki was a bit too watery for me, but the rice cakes were nice and chewy. The buldak was good, but not particularly special. And, the wings were great. I love the addition of these flavors as it gives more options to customers and they each have their own unique taste. I would definitely come by more often now that they've expanded their menu a bit.

"Another trip to the food cart for a delicious meal Shoyu chicken! This one was even better than before. It seems to have had more time in the teriyaki sauce. It penetrated all the way to the bone. Just look at this work of art!"
"A very tasty pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. It's family run, and it feels homey!"
"Order: 3pc basa fish w/ frys and hush puppiesPros: Overall, the food was really really good. The fish was seasoned nicely and fried hard as I requested. Service was great and the owner was very very nice. The fry's were a little to salty. The hush puppies were really good. I loves the fact that they cut slits into the to go container to let the steam out so that your fry's were not soggy. The fish size was good and the amount of frys received were great as well.Cons: frys a tad bit salty. Only one type of fish served. The hush puppies were considered a side for almost $4 if I recall. Usually, hush puppies comes with fish plates so this location it was a bit of a surprise. The location and parking is questionable but the food is great non the less."
"Stopped for a quick biteHeard this spot was voted the number 1 food truck for 2023Ordered the snow cheese drumsticks and Mac and cheese and the no spicy wings with rice. Both were delicious The server was super cool and explained the menu to us and we appreciated thatIt's a food truck park, I would say they should have someone clean the tables more consistently though but it was coolWe ended up taking it to go, it was chillyLooking forward to going back next time I'm in Portland"
"We stopped here for quick lunch. They had a regular cashier and a self-order screen as well. They had a variety of items, and I was so impressed that they were all so reasonable! I have visited Portland a few times in the past but always thought it was expensive to dine out here- so I loved this surprised. My fried chicken rice bowl was awesome. It also had so carrots, bean sprouts and corn. It had a lot of rice too. The gentleman working there was so nice. Highly recommended."
"I love hot wings especially with crispy hot French fries and this place has them! There's a hot wing place back home that I miss a lot but Sandy's comes really close with their 6 wing combo (i get the hot sauce), French fries and soda combo for $13.50. I usually get it to go so that I can enjoy it at home, I would highly recommend calling ahead for take out since everything is made fresh and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get your food. My better half loves the cheesesteak and hot wings combo (doesn't come with fries) and my son gets the chicken strips with fries combo. There's different levels of hot sauce you can choose from, mild to buffalo volcano hotness. You also get a little baggie with celery, carrot slices and ranch sauce. The people working here are always so nice and my food is well packed with no leakage when I get home. I love this little mom and pop shop and it's convenient location on Sandy!"
"Delicious gluten free chicken. Super excited to find a place that can do gluten free fried food. I wish they had a spot out in Gresham but it's worth the trip out there. Can't wait to go again"
"WHAT SORT OF PIZZA MAGIC IS HAPPENING HERE and why am I just now finding out about it?! Y'ALL. This is the best pizza in the city. I promise you. I almost don't want to let the secret out but I also wanna shout it from the rooftops!! When I started my order, I was slightly aghast at having to pay $25 for a 16" pizza. Let me tell you now... IT IS WORTH IT. And honestly the 10" pizzas are totally big enough for a 1-person pizza. We got 4 different pizzas (The Butcher Pie, Hendrix '69 Pie, Rock N Roll Pie and Ace Rose Pie) and some wings and each one was incredibly tasty. Those cheesy meatballs on the Rock N Roll Pie?? COME ON!! My fave was the Ace Rose Pie with that fig preserve and balsamic reduction with Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Guys.... Super epic. This place will be getting a lot of business from me moving forward!"
"Nice man operates the cart. I love love breakfast sandwiches, the taste and creations vary greatly from place to place. So I was thrilled that Bam Pow started offering breakfast, I enjoyed the bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas Toast. Thankfully, the bacon is chopped; it's a pet peeve to take a bite and the entire strip comes out. The sando is gooey, which makes it yummy, but kinda messy. I hope he gets the traffic to warrant opening so early."
"I came here for a friend's birthday party and am in love! What a great space! I love that in this area there are lots of parking options too - I genuinely get scared going into a new spot wondering how long I need to arrive early to do the circle around and around and around. Nope - they have their own lot and plenty of street parking too! Many dive bars around are also pretty unclean feeling that is supposed to be charming - this is not that. The space is nice with nothing nasty to hide and has several areas you could fill pretty well with people. There is even a super cute area tucked in a corner with couches you could feel pretty swank drinking a martini. The bartender was a dream - what a sweetheart! She is on it also and kept knocking out drink after drink. Their have a small menu with some decent bar food. I just went with tots and fish but almost regret (after seeing some other reviews) not grabbing a hamburger. My food was fine though - I was not expecting more than some greasy fried food - this was fried but the grease was even low and super cheap so yay! They have some great large tables so getting a group together here is a great option for gatherings."
"Maybe Hunnybeez on SW Park Ave isn't that Instagrammable from the outside- but they probably know a thing or two about what they're doing in the kitchen and outside of that. This was a nice spot to grab some tea drinks and bring to my daughter's apartment about a block away. The space is dim and cozy with several tables and hi-stools by the window. Soak up the Filipino music as you're dining in or just waiting for your order. I ordered a "Thai Ice Tea AND a Lychee Lemonade- 'Mojito' tea"- but somehow, they understood I wanted both flavors together¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Whipped out my card again to buy the Mojito. I also ordered the Veg Lumpia and those tasted as if they were left in the fryer far too long and soaked up wayyy too much oil. I get they're fried to begin with- but the oil on the lumpias, the plate and our fingers, was dreadful.Service was fantastic and dispite my Thai Iced Tea tasting like Lychee, our to-go beverages were fantastic. I'm sure the Filipino food here is on point and the rating says it all, as Hunnybeez is definitely a local spot close to people's hearts."
"Surprisingly tasty sushi at a fair price.During our last visit our group had the hamachi roll, the eel and avocado roll, the crunchy roll, the rainbow roll, and Sea & River's combo special the Van Lunch (spicy tuna roll, California roll, and spicy salmon roll). The crunchy roll was a big hit, and we all wished we had ordered another eel and avocado roll. Friendly service. Delicious food, carefully made and presented.Sea & River Sushi & Burmese Grill is located at the Rocket Empire Machine on NE Glisan, one of five restaurants in the Montavilla food hall. Outdoor seating."
"We came here to get a boba drink after eating lunch in the area. The interior is pretty well decorated and has an inviting vibe to it. They also serve some food items. I ordered the Tokyo Milk Tea. The milk tea was made well, and the boba had a good texture where it wasn't hard but a bit soft and chewy. I'll have to try their food item next time."
"This spot was highly recommend by a friend for their wings. The owner was extremely personable and professional talking with me while my food was cooking. When I got to get into the wings I ordered, they had me looking like Red Fox faking a heart attack!George knows what's up!!! Hands down the best wings I've ever had. He knows what he is doing and will leave your taste buds shocked in the flavor he gets in his food.I 100% recommend this spot!"
