"Believe the reviews. 5 stars all the way. My burger was so good that I'll bring family and friends here every chance I get. Jen was our server tonight and was training. She was so gracious and gave us lots of information.I can't believe how fast the service was. That made me doubt how good my burger would be but honestly, it was probably in the top 3 of all burgers I've had. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Great place to eat after playing pickleball for a few hours. I was really looking forward to having the turtle cheesecake. It's in a bag on the back seat right now. I'll definitely enjoy it tomorrow!Like I said, the reviews are spot on. Try this restaurant. It will end up being one of your favorites, too."

"Atmosphere: Walk-up to counter and order. Few TV's in there.Food: I came for burger week. Burger was actually quite excellent and a good size.Price: Burger week price is always a steal. Don't remember other prices.Service: StandardParking: Street parking"
"I'm all for a gimmick and as someone who has indulged often in the Bay Area style super burritos, I couldn't pass up the chance to enjoy something in the same realm as King Burrito. This place is exactly what I'm looking for in a no pretense eatery, fair prices, good service, and hearty, tasty food. Portland local dives don't get much better than this.Located in North Portland just outside of Arbor Lodge Park, King Burrito is a small eatery with handful of tables and chairs with the classic open kitchen with the above-counter wall menu (#1). A majority of the folks coming through are coming for takeout and unless it's bad timing, I've never really seen this place full. The fluorescent lighting and semi-shoddy bathrooms aren't major reasons to dine-in but the food most certainly is.As of right now, all burritos are in the $8-9 range. The famed king burrito is really a chile relleno with refried beans, steak picado in their in-house avocado sauce in an oversized flour tortilla. The carne asada and carnitas have been my go-tos but I think their cabeza (head) and lengua is an outstanding option. Their breakfast burritos should be considered, especially the chorizo con papas and the machaca. Every burrito is going to be littered with onions, so for folks who aren't all about the cebolla life, be sure to mention it ahead of time. Overall, the burrito is an absolute gut bomb and will trigger an immediate food coma post consumption.Anything in a burrito can also be done in taco form. Most of the tacos are in the $3-4 range at this point but similarly to the burritos, quite sizable and served with good portions. They also have non-taco options, such as hot dogs, burgers, taquitos, and quesadillas. The latter is the only thing I'd order, but to each his or her own.The service is quick and the staff is mainly Spanish speaking. There is usually a young man who is handling food orders in the front and on the phone. A majority of their parking is in the back and they're no longer open past 11pm on any day of the week.Lastly to management: I realize prices are fluctuating everywhere, but none of the prices from the outdated website (#2) or the counter menus (slightly outdated) match the wall menu prices (current). This will cause some confusion for new customers and maybe disappointment for many others. __________(#1) A common theme amongst many ethnic takeout eateries.(#2) Beware of their severely outdated website menu prices, which are at $5.50 a burrito and $1.50 a taco."
"Oh YES!!! We LOVED everything we ate here. The Sellwood slider was particularly perfect and definitely go for the garlic aioli fry sauce. Extra bonus points for how quickly it came out to our table (faster than fast). It's a casual, order at the counter kind of place, with indoor and outdoor seating. Cost is fair especially for the quality! Traveling with a young one, I also appreciated the kids meal option at a great price ($7) with a fun extra treat (lollipop). I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Portland! Highly recommend!"
"This place has been around for as long as I can remember. It's one of the places I used to go for a late night munchies, especially the burger. I came here again for Portland Burger Week. Their special burger was very tasty, and you can tell that the meat quality is superb. They also have a great selection of drinks."
"We love visiting Ranees as it is usually one of the only decent and consistent bites in Oregon city! Their French toast is to die for and we got the insider information that they get their apple bread from market of choice!Be aware that the weekends bring crowds and a wait. Make sure everyone in your party has a valid ID as they only allow adults, no minors! We sat in the bar, service was decent. They were slammed and had a wait to place our order, however our diet cokes never ran dry."
"What a view... not the one in the picture though... the one out the window!Had a business dinner here and I have to say the venue sits atop an outstanding location. You go up a pretty steep entrance and when you get to the parking lot you are rewarded with a view off a postcard! Pure beauty. The location it's self is nice... big, airy, and well maintained. We had 6 of us for dinner and we were seated in the upstairs loft area which had an over view of the bar and kitchen areas as well as the dinning area. The food was ok. Nothing really stood out as exceptional. There was a lot of it at high prices... and it was all flavored well, cooked well, and served well. Just in my opinion it did not live up to the location. It was not exceptional. This is one of those places that when you arrive you expect greatness! It did not live up to that... Would I come back? Yeah I would."
"Old School at its best! "Grandma" the owner is so kind and proud of her business. The chicken fried steak might be pre-fab, but the delicious thick gravy more than makes up for it. Eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. This place screams value as the portion is generous. And there's no inner-Portland BS such as: standing in line, automatic tips, health and cost of living fee, get your own utensils, bus your own stuff, etc."
"Best cheesesteak in pdx, hands down. The amount of toppings you can add is endless and the steak is melt in your mouth tender. The roll is soft and fluffy and provides the perfect vehicle to deliver the deliciousness in and around your mouth. Employees up front are extremely personable and friendly and didn't mind providing suggestions on what I should order. The inside is a bit cozy but i would rather enjoy this bad boy at home anyway. Will definitely be coming back next time I have a cheesesteak craving"

Gluten free review: We were taken to this wonderful place.. if you are gluten free go try this place and let me tell you why. I shared a pastrami burger with a gluten free bun and sweet potato fries. It was a 5 out of 5. I love the feel inside. Very high energy. This is one of the best services I have ever experienced. The gentlemen helping us was knowledgeable, friendly, happy, and personable. I am actually very impressed. If you're around the area give it a try. If not go find it and give it a try! I wish I could give this place 6 stars. very impressed. We'll be back.

carnitas burrito was so good i feel guilty.. like i'm cheating the rest of the world cuz they don't have one of these in their mouth.. but i do.. and i'm gonna do it again..listen y'all, their verde sauce is so good i want to write inappropriate comments.. i want to kiss full on the mouth the mastermind that understands how to balance heat AND flavor.. i wish i could take a gallon back to miami..i'm not sure i can talk about the burrito without openly weeping.. good thing i'm only writing about it.. the pork was perfect with crispy bits which are NECESSARY for good carnitas.. this burrito, combined with the verde sauce, may have actually saved my soul..and horchata to go along with it?!? how the hell is it so good and not chalky AT ALL?!? HOW DO YOU DO IT?!? i've tried and failed.. i'm coming back for more before i leave and will always return when i come back to visit the portlands..

Fantastic! Stopped in randomly after a meeting in the area. Cool vibe with local craft beer and specialty sliders. Seating both indoors and outside overlooking Williams Ave. I had a couple different sliders and both were super flavorful and well prepared. The smoked pulled pork with kraut and cheese was amazing If you are in NE PDX. well worth a try!!

Slow Bar is a dive bar and I kind of don't care because it is still an a-ok watering hole. After a fun night with friends at the Portland Night Market we wanted to cap off the night with a couple more drinks . What can I say More is more when it comes to Alcohol .The place was empty(Ish) and we were able to order and sit right away. Apart from drinks we also got a couple quick bites which as expected came dripping in oil and were finished in minutes by the alcohol fueled crowd. We didn't get the famous burger but definitely next time. I am really curious to try it and see for myself. The premises is dimly lit and kind of dark . all in all it's a fun joint for late night hang.

We realized last time that they charge an excessive fee to use your credit card. In a time when almost everyone uses card that's just ridiculous. Build it into your prices because if I'd seen an extra couple dollars for every menu item I might not want to come here. And they definitely either need to research a better CC option or are making a profit with the percentage they charge (I have a business that take CC too). Thought the drinks were a little high for a dive bar in OC. And when you order a meal to go you don't want it brought out with the food you're eating there. Do you really think I want food I'm taking back to someone to sit for well over an hour? Or do you think I want it right before I leave like every other restaurant does?

Beautiful restaurant and setting to mark special occasions. The food is just ok--and certainly good enough to make this a go-to experience. The service is friendly and welcoming. Everything came out of the kitchen hot and with great pacing. Here's what we enjoyed:--French dip sandwich: delicious and hit the spot. The fries were average, but the sandwich was tender and moist --hazelnut, chicken salad: fresh greens, perfectly roasted hazelnuts, and overcooked chicken (alas on the chicken)--smoked salmon cakes: the star of the show with a crispy exterior and a moist, flavorful interior. The sauce added to the already great dish. I'd order this again.Sit outside, if possible. It's stunning and comfortable.

"I DO reccomend Sammich. On a recent trip to PDX, I was a part of a takeout order of Sammiches taken to a concert in the park for dinner and, a few days later, checked out the Sammich food truck. My first Sammich was a turkey with cranberry with their signature shredded lettuce et al. It was a solid sandwich, packed and tasty. I particularly liked the thick cut and generosity of the turkey slices. The second time, I just had a taste of the porkstrami Sammich, which was VERY good. Would definitely order that one in the future.Their sandwiches also come with a local bag of chips, SOLID!!"
"Someone catering for a work event got all my coworkers and my BF addicted to their chicken tacos. My BF hates tacos, but he loves these. No better advertising than that! Usual street parking in one of the many Portland neighborhoods maybe 4 or 5 miles from the airport. Lots of Spanish speakers coming in for food which is very encouraging. I asked them for a bean and cheese burrito and two chicken burritos but they ended up handing me a bean and cheese burrito and two chicken tacos. My BF enjoyed them, but it would have been nice to try something new. The bean and cheese was excellent for only $6.75. It had a nice spicy kick to it to liven up the lack of ingredients. I will return just for that, but there's tons on the menu to push that visit to, say, today. Lol."
"I visited Gresham Burrito Shop a few weeks ago. I had it on my list of restaurants to try because it's on the 14 gargantuan stuffed burritos list from Eater Portland. It's located in Downtown Gresham. There's a good amount of tables inside. It was order at the counter. I got an horchata and a chile verde burrito. The horchata was good. The chile verde burrito was delicious. They also had a great salsa bar. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños and carrots. I also enjoyed their green salsa. I'll be revisiting next time I am in the area."
"This is my first time to their physical location. They expanded the menu and added chicken tenders to it. We ordered the triple stack burger and a set of chicken tenders. The burger was just amazing as before, and the chicken tenders were good. The tenders had this hint of sweetness to it, which was unique. The service here was nice and friendly."
"The group I was with had planned on stopping in at a different bar but then it was closed unexpectedly so we wandered down to R&T and what a serendipitous choice it was!Great vibes! Good pours and a good beer selection. The back patio was tardis level of huge since it just kept going but we opted for indoors. It was the perfect spot for some nonsense with friends. Staff was great too."
"Came here for a coworkers going away party. I wont lie, when i saw hoe packed it was on a weekday lunch i was surprised. When i saw the portions and prices, it made sense. I mean, where in 2023/2024 can you find a 2/3lb double cheese burger with fries for $13. I mean, thats a gem. I love to see a place not get greedy with pricing, they have a ton of flair and decor, its jam packed, also they have jam packed Im sure. I will say the burger want some special over the top hipster thing. Just simple, done right, and served up quick. Alot of the guys got breakfast and it all looked great! I'll definitely be back with those prices, and love the Boring area as a whole. Being it was a work thing, and didnt want to be a goon. I left the camera phone in my pocket!!Youll have to go in person to see the goods."
"It's been a while since I've been in a bar that I LOVED. I was actually on my way to a bar on a girls night out when we found this one and spontaneously stopped in. There's an area on file and a basement bar that we went to. It's super cute and cozy with lower ceilings, dim lighting and lots of Halloween decor. Overall divey vibe, but like a nice, clean and safe type dive bar!I got the cherry cider and it was tart, tasty and refreshing. Only $6!!!! The drinks were very reasonably priced and the staff was awesome. The best part we're all of the free games: pool, darts and a super long shuffle board. We had such a blast here and I can't wait to come back!"
"Atmosphere: Small little casual or takeout spotFood: Did the job. I'm a fan of Spicy Tuna Rolls so I don't get too exotic but maybe next time I'll branch outPrice: Very reasonable prices. Love that they are close to my apartment.Service: StandardParking: Small parking lot in front of or plenty of street parking"
"Stopped by for a burger and fries after the airport. The cheeseburger was great. It's a quick service place, and the ambiance was standard fast food feel but kind of nicer. I would recommend a visit for a burger. Easy parking in the lot."
"Hmmmmm.... I cannot classify this as a Dive Bar. I've been to a generous handful in my day, and this is upscale divey if not a classy dive bar. It is a gem and I had a great time visiting here with my daughter and her friends from UP. I remember seeing the MCT the first time we dropped her off as an entering freshman and I told her, "when you turn 21, we are going there". She is ready to graduate so it was a likely choice to stop by and grab a beer to celebrate. The staff is friendly and truly welcoming. We had so much fun watching the Blues Band that was playing, I didn't want to leave. The prices are reasonable, the interior is fun, and the overall vibe just wants you to order one more drink. We ordered a few appetizers for the table which were also good for bar food. The bartender treated us to some pudding shots... never had one, thought they only came in Jello ... oh my, so good, strong, and on the house. Thank you! We will be back, as we have a new Pilot in the house, giving me 4 more years to visit and have some fun at MCT."
"The Peewee. One of the best pastrami Sammie's I've ever had. Fresh and hot, it's a little spicy, it's perfectly peppery, the rye bread is just about perfect. Definitely recommend the heck outta this one. The fries were really good seasoned fries, crispy fresh and hot. The BLT was pretty much as you'd expect a BLT to be. Not sure I'd order this one, it's just like the one you make at home, but it was next to two other crazy dishes. The service was casual and their call in orders keep them hopping. Fun little table area, clean enough, not too bad for self bussing."
"We went to Dea's for burger, fries, clam chowder, and shake. Everything was so delicious and the burgers sauce was so outstanding and the clam chowder was like home for us (we are from MA/maine. The clam chowder is outstanding. We recommend Dea's . We will return for clam chowder. The burger was tender and so tasty. Ty"
"My first trip here and I was very impressed and can't wait to return to try more items. I tried the Al Pastor tacos and it was instantly my favorite menu choice, the spices were nice and pork had a nice char and sweetness. It was at times a little fatty but that's to be expected. I also tried the Chile Verde, this was good, second to a place on NE 42nd I go to often for this dish specifically.I also had Ceviche, which was simple, fresh and very satisfying. All & All, I am a fan and will be back to try the breakfast burritos and other items for sure. The only side eye, if you will, was the salsas .. I believe they are not home made but brand named (red sauce tasted like valentina brand) which I happened to like, so no biggy ."
"So far the best burgers for the money on the east side of Portland. $17.50 for two burgers with bacon, cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce, and a good sized piece of meat! Left this space for no apparent reason. ...............................................! With the burger you got fries and a coke. Service was fast considering every this is cooked fresh. Everything appeared to be clean including the floor, mmmmnot sticky as it is in most burger joints. The city has seen fit to take all the on street parking for bike lanes, so you park at your own peril in their lot. By the way I never saw a bike on Division or the side street. No wonder small businesses are closing all over Portland."
"You know I used to be the biggest killer burger fan. Back when during happy hour you could get a seven dollar peanut butter, bacon, burger, and bottomless fries. Then they did away with happy hour then they raised their prices then things just started being slower and Covid hit. As we were in the area and I could really go for a peanut butter, bacon, burger, and way more fries than I'd hope for I stumbled upon a location of killer burger I didn't know existed.First and foremost it's a great environment always a great staff and it's a very consistent product. I will say though what make killer burger killer burger is slowly evaporating and it's just turning into a normal franchise. For those reasons choosing a certain Smashburger place that doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but has what I think was the heart of killer burger. This might be my last killer burger run as honestly one of the fun things was being able to go there with the kids and then just pick out on fries with their burger now the only happy hour item isn't really a great deal. It includes a beer which really truly , I rather have more fries. This may be my final review for a killer burger thank you for all the good years. It might be time to move on and you'll know where I'll be MCSB."
"Super Deluxe is still nailing it with the yummy vegan fast food. Absolutely no complaints. The staff is friendly, service is not slow but not super fast. It's fine because it's a decent burger and good fries!!! It's usually really dead INSIDE when we are there, but on our most recent visit a burnt out Mom was there with three VERY loud kids. lol. I had just two girls (8 & 10,) with me who were BOTH well behaved. But I felt for her so I didn't give her any grief. I can always count on Super Deluxe for a quick meal that leaves us satisfied!!"
"Love it!It's like 3 or 4 different establishments rolled into one.On my last visit I met travelers at the bar, had a quiet conversation and dinner at a table, played some games downstairs, and listened to live music in the back....it felt like I was on an expansive bar tour but really I was just wandering around the local pub!The fish and chips are amazing and the bartenders friendly and attentive!Cheers!"
"The location and hours are super convenient when you are staying at this hostel. Wifi, good amount of outlets and seating. My enjoyment of the cafe (live music sand space) is why I'm rating 4.In terms of as a restaurant it's a 3. Standard food for a cafe. Service is friendly ordering but nothing further.Great place for the hostel convenience but definitely don't come out of your way to eat here"
